Thankfully located at the far North end of the Nob Hill Pavilion away from most of the parking congestion. They have a single posted UPS Drop Off parking space directly in front of the business but it was occupied. The inside is immaculate and well stocked with packing materials. Nobhill and sunriseStaff is very disrespectful. I walked in with three Amazon return envelopes. At the time, there was one woman ahead of me being helped and no one else in the store. I stood at the counter with my packages ready and my Amazon return label open on my phone, waiting to be assisted. As soon as the associate finished helping the woman ahead of me, a Caucasian gentleman walked into the store. Without acknowledging me or saying a single word, the associate signaled for him to come ahead of me and began helping him instead, even though I had been standing there waiting. I asked her, "Did I miss something? I've been standing here waiting and he just walked in." She completely ignored me and went to the back to get another employee. When he came out, she spoke to him in Spanish and he told me the reason was because the other customer only had one item. Not only was that explanation ridiculous, but he also never apologized and was extremely rude. I told him it didn't matter whether I had one item or one hundred. I was the person who had been standing there waiting. There was no line, and the man literally walked in while I was waiting at the counter. The associate didn't even have the basic courtesy to say "excuse me" or explain anything before letting him go ahead of me. I've been coming to this location for a while, and there have been times when I only had one item while standing in line behind other people. Not once did anyone offer to take me ahead of the person who was already waiting. I also made it clear that it was not lost on me that I was a Black customer standing there waiting while a white customer walked in and was immediately helped ahead of me. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, the employee became defensive and said he was tired of "you people" saying everything is racist. For the record, I never called him racist I pointed out how the situation looked. The most disturbing part is that no one apologized. The employee who confronted me wasn't even present when it happened, he had been in the back and simply came out to defend the situation and make excuses. This was extremely disrespectful and a clear example of poor customer service. This is just lack of basic courtesy and respect. They need to learn how to treat people with respect. read more

As I left the house to return some Amazon packages at the store, I was notified by my mother that the staff inside this UPS store was very unfriendly. When I tell you that the energy inside the store was immediately off, mean vibes. The staff scanned my packages and then proceeded to slam them onto the counter. I was returning a stainless steel water bottle and it was loudly slammed into the counter after given to the staff. After maintaining a friendly manner and smiling face the entire interaction, I asked the staff if they had a trash can where I could throw away my package trash. The staff replied No and shunned me as they greeted the next customer with the single word "NEXT." I was surprised to experience such poor customer service and it seems to have been this way for quite some time. Need new staff. read more

Great fast friendly service. The only issue here which isn't the store's fault is the parking lot is often crowded. the proprietor and spouse are always there, always quick to help people with a variety of needs. Great people doing excellent work. read more

Seriously go to another other UPS store... they have terrible customer service and don't allow you to print in the store... like WHAT?!? You have a printer I would've paid to print my label WHICH FOR AMAZON RETURNS THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO SUPPLY! Absolutely horrible and I asked if there was anything I could do and they were no help. Juan and Dora have no customer service. It is unfortunate that this is the closest UPS store to my work; Every time I go they do not greet me or treat me with respect. Today I was the only one in the store and Dora rushed me to show my QR code and gave me mean looks and then turned around to laugh with a co-worker while still "helping" me. I don't even know if she scanned the right one because there were no words exchanged, nothing; Not even to confirm the destination. I don't write a lot of reviews so that should tell you something. Go to another location! The owners of this company, I believe husband and wife are some of the rudest people I have ever met. Every time I have gone there they have an attitude towards every costumer who is there. Their customer service skills are terrible. They seem like they hate their jobs. You know that TV ad where the friendly people at the UPS store help you get the job done? This is not that place. This is the place where the lady comes out says hello and walks away. Then the surly teenager come out and says "yes?". Ten minutes later and after typing all my info in, he prints out a paper and walks into the back room. Then an older man comes out and tells me it will be $140 to ship my 6 lb parcel to the UK. And that he won't ship overseas by USPS (despite having told me on the phone they do). No one said hello or smiled - not Mama bear, or Papa bear, or little bitty baby bear. I won't darken your door again, losers. read more

As a former employee of Mailboxes Etc NKA UPS store...I am well aware of the process of shipping packages. I pre-packaged items to be shipped on 2/3/21 and when our recipient opened the damaged box...it was the correct label and incorrect package. I contacted the store immediately. The manager/owner was difficult to get ahold of and when I did he wasn't concerned for our "lost" package but more the reputation of his employee who made an error and the reputation of his business. He said he would contact all customers who shipped on that day and give him 10 days. I gave like 2 wks...no response. I emailed and 2 days later he responded and blamed UPS. Took no ownership or blame. There's no way he checked with everyone or anyone. Someone else is missing a package they were waiting for. When I called him out on it again and wanted my package found or my $$ back...he responded so rudely and unprofessional. I will never darken their door again and make sure no one else will either. read more

I used them to ship a violin. It was not hugely valuable, but had some value. They made a box by taping 2 other boxes together, then didn't bother to put in any packing material. On the receiving end they said it got pretty shaken up. Next time, FedEx, here I come.
