I saw a pic of Joseph G. holding wall art produced at CanvasFab. It looked great and he looked…read morehappy in the pic. Tom and I talked about using some of our pics from trips and moments in time as living room wall art. We figured it would personalize the space and remind us of fun times. CanvaFab's site has a nice gallery of work. But what really did it for me was their easy-to-use software that let me upload my pic, try different products and sizes, see my art with my options and get a price for the custom work. We picked 32" x 16" size canvas and were concerned the images might look fuzzy. But on my screen each pic looked great, so we started to put an order together. Then they emailed me a new customer code for 50% off my first order. Yeah baby! That tipped the scale and, willing to take a chance on the picture quality, kept ordering. I got emails during the process - I knew when they got the order and when they shipped the order. They managed my order without being asked - thank you CanvasFab. It's refreshing to just stay out of the way and watch you manage your business. If only more companies would do that...(maybe a handyman wouldn't have installed 2 door knobs on the same door in my house, one on top of the other. I have pics.) The pics came in a box that was well packed. I could have picked up the art in their MIami shop but I opted for delivery instead. The quality was beyond our expectations! We were going to get simple frames but in the meantime we ordered 'mirror edge' pics on canvas - they look so good we are not getting frames! We have some special times coming up and we look forward to sending our pics to CanvasFab so they can work their magic.

I placed an order in November (60x40 Cancas) and they sent me an email saying that I had to wait…read moremore because they couldn't get the color right. The color was supposed to be beige and it was almost pink. They tried again and sent me a picture and it still wasn't right. They asked me if I wanted a refund and I said yes. Then 2 weeks later Paypal sent me an email saying that the refund was canceled. I sent them multiple emails about that, called them and even messaged them on instagram and 0 response. I thought I would give them more time since it was December and I figured they were still on holiday. It's almost February and still no response. Thankfully Paypal is very good about these things and they opened a case against them and will give me my money back!

I reached out to Maddy's Print Shop to assist my AEC (architecture, engineering, consulting) firm…read morein establishing a relationship with a local print shop for our Florida offices. I needed a large full-color book (500+) pages printed and bound to be presented as a high-quality deliverable for our clients. While the folks that own and manage this shop are very friendly (Steve and Frederick), this particular print shop simply did not have the attention to detail that we require, and made repeated errors on the job that necessitated a missed deadline of 2 weeks. Within that two week span, I had to repeatedly "hand hold" the printers through issues despite providing detailed instructions. When being provided a pickup time, I would arrive at the shop only to find more errors in the print job and unfinished work. On my fourth visit to the store to pick up the book they reprinted in an attempt to correct their errors, the reprinted book had pages that were falling out and dirty/tarnished pages. I spoke directly with both the owner and production manager about the lack of quality control and poor communication regarding both the printing instructions and pick-up times. It was ultimately the most disappointing that after all of that, the product was still not 100%. Although I am sure there are areas where this shop excels, I would not recommend it for any corporate business where deadlines need to be met and quality control must be top-notch. They provided excuses that this was going to be a problem for any shop due to the "large size" and "manual effort" needed to complete the book, however, I have found numerous other print shops in Fort Lauderdale that are no stranger to this type of job -- and offered a much better price. I hope this review is helpful to anyone doing due diligence on a print shop in the Fort Lauderdale area.

The owner Alex and his attitude problem is the reason there will be no more business coming from our Architectural firm ever! Even older reviews from 2017 show your attitude is just garbage. A thank you honestly doesn't seem enough to do the justice, but I promise you, if I could say something with more weight, I would. The company and I are so eternally grateful that God has blessed us with having this amazing, talented, diligent, hard working team working alongside with us. We were looking high and low for a not good, but stellar company to help us with our screen printing and other requests. We basically explored every square inch in south Florida to find that every other company either charged us an astronomically high fee or just didn't have the proper equipment and even the material was poor. Of course, we didn't settle. We had hope and tried one more spot and sure enough it was Hialeah Printing Co. The only spot we will be bringing our business from this day forward!! Mike is one of the most down to earth, understanding and professional individuals I've come across and his team is, again, the most talented, diligent, and hard working crew I've seen. They are wonderfully nice and actually listen to what your vision is. They take that vision and make it come to life! My pieces are now possible simply because of them. So, to all at Hialeah Printing Co. I will be seeing everyone real soon, because we got a lot of orders coming your way (Thank God) ! And I can't seriously thank you all enough for being literally the best in the business!!
