This review is long overdue. The last time my computer failed, I took it to the Apple Store and was told it was a "dinosaur" and not worth fixing. I ended up buying a new one. Years later, that newer computer also had issues--this time I decided to take it to Techy to see what they could do. Tatiana handled the repair, and she was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable from the start. I was pleasantly surprised when she told me she could fix it and have it running like new. Her assistant was also very friendly and kept me updated throughout the process. They were right--my iMac is now running better than ever, and all for a fraction of what I expected to spend. I've been to Techy multiple times for different repairs on my son's iPhone, including for a battery replacement, broken screen, and later what is referred to as "touch disease" (unresponsive screen), and they've been outstanding every single time. Just purchased a new cell phone with a value of $1200 but am still paying around $9.00 a month for insurance through Assurian like most people. So, I went into this phone repair store and inquired how much a new screen would be without insurance, if I cancelled mine. The young counter girl immediately answered me with a price of $300.00 for a new glass cover and labor. This repair price quote is what I am paying for insurance over three years and then I still would still need to pay the deductible of $250.00, then get a new "refurbished" phone anyways through Assurian. Still not sure which is the better route. The store is super organized and clean with good customer service. Offers a good variety of phone covers, keyboards, chargers and premium ipad cases. read more

I took my Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 to have the screen repaired, and as it turned out all I needed was to have the screen protector changed. I had no idea that the fold came with an inner screen protector. The old protector was removed and replaced with a new one. Now my Fold 3 looks like new again and works like a dream. BEWARE THE SCAM -Do not take your device to this place! Everything they say is a lie. After charging me $375.00 to fix my screen they gave me back my phone with new problems it never. All I kept hearing were random excuses for their piss poor service and how they couldn't fix my phone now because they had so many other customers ahead of me. Went in because my iPhone 6 wouldn't charge. The guy told me that the actual battery in my phone was dead, even though my phone was not even 3 months old. Had me pay $40 for a new battery. I go back home and try to charge my phone and IT STILL DOES NOT CHARGE. So i go back to the store and the guy tells me "Okay, well some chargers don't work on the phone. Only Apple compatible chargers work with these older phones because of an update." They ripped me off $40 for a "new battery" when they knew the problem the entire time. read more

I took my phone to get repaired on a Tuesday and they called me back saying the screen they had was defective so they'd have to order a new phone so I waited and took it back Thursday. I got my phone back and from the moment I got it I noticed the color of the display was not how it used to be, but I figured since Apple didn't fix it, it wouldn't be exactly the same. After using my phone for 30 minutes I started noticing all the glitches. The display would flicker, it wouldn't work when I would swipe, I'd have to tap the screen multiple times for it to work, until finally the screen wouldn't light up AT ALL. My phone worked because Siri would answer, but the screen just wouldn't light up. So I contacted the store and they said with the warranty they could replace the screen again, maybe the one they put on was defective. So a second defective screen. I returned on Sunday and this screen was much better, but it still has is kinks. I woke up Monday morning to my screen not lighting up again so I had to reset my phone and it worked. It's still not 100%. I would recommend going to Apple to get your screen fixed so you could ensure it's in the best condition because $240 later and it still has kinks. read more

I have used this establishment twice before and have been pleased. Last week, I dropped off my daughter's iPad to be diagnosed. I am on a limited budget so I was assured that diagnosis was free and that someone would call me to inform me of the issue and I would decide, at that time, whether to proceed with repair. Instead, I got a phone call informing me that the repair was done and the device was ready to be picked up. I did not authorize the repair. When I went into the store, the employees were empathetic and called the owner to see what he could do to make the situation right. I was told that the owner, Rich, is a very fair and sympathetic guy. Apparently, not today. He refused to do anything to rectify the situation. Needless to say, I will not use this establishment again. I have also advised all my friends, to whom I recommended this place, to find another place. read more

Please never go to this store. Years ago when it was actually a Dr Phone Fix the tech was super professional and trust worthy. However, there is a new name and new people working there. They scammed me and almost refused to fix what they damaged. I brought my iPhone X in for new front screen and they told me that it comes with OLED from the factory but when I paid for a REPLACEMENT they downgraded the screen to LCD (which is equivalent to the iPhone 8 screen quality). The tech then told me it would be another $300 for the original OLED screen replacement which was never disclosed to me initially. They did not install the screen correctly because the top right corner was protruding out shining the backlight through. Furthermore, before I brought my phone in my battery life said 99% and after I received it back it was at 90%. When I called the tech out for swapping parts in my phone out for lesser quality parts he began to refuse fixing my phone again which immediately told me they are running a scam. Now my screen quality is equivalent to an iPhone 8 and still sticks outwards and my phone no longer holds a charge all day. -6/10 save your time and money these people are looking to steal from hard working people. read more

I called a few places in town for quotes to get my iPhone 7 screen fixed and went with Dr. Phone Fix for the winning lowest bid. Eric was very kind and answered all my questions and got my phone back to me in 45 minutes (which is their estimated wait time). My phone looked brand new again but unfortunately I got a defective phone screen. Thankfully, they have a lifetime warranty for the screen so I called back the next day and they put a different screen and glass screen protector free of charge and with no hassle! TOTAL SCAMMERS!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE TO GET FIXED HER BECAUSE THEY WILL COMPLETELY RIP YOU OFF. I went in last minute to get my phone fixed and she said it's going to cost me $170 total. I said that is ridiculous I have never paid that much. The said its $139 for the screen and an additional $20 because my LCD was broken THEN $10 for tax. I told her last time I was here it was $120 to fix my screen. She said that has never been our prices. I went online to their website and it says $120 to fix an iPhone 6 screen!!!! I will be wanting a refund for EVERY CHARGE. Not to mention my screen shattered not even 12 hours after I got my phone back. These screen are NOT reliable at all. They tell you they put a special screen on so its more durable but they are total liars. I am never going back here. You can go to apple for $120 to get it fixed with the official iPhone screen. read more

At the same time there was another unsatisfied customer, I think they didn't look properly into the issue in her phone and ended up charging her lots of money when the phone could actually get fixed.
