I have been here countless times to shred something or drop off an Amazon return. No issues. But I went here to print something and despite the employee's best efforts, the final product looked mediocre. When I got home, I noticed the binding didn't even work. When I went back to request a refund, the associate told me that she couldn't help me and I needed to speak with the owner. When I went back, she told me the owner would not refund the cost. It was too expensive to not be right. I will not be returning here because of this issue. read more

My original review was from my initial experience as a new customer at this location. Which was PRE-Covid. This revised review is my changed perspective of this location (not of all UPS's) after having been a long-time "former" customer. This review will start with compare and contrast of my experience with headings THEN vs. NOW. THEN: (about 2018'ish) when I first started venturing to this location the staff was very friendly and due to my frequent packages arriving at this location, rather than charge me $5.00 (per package) the sweet kind manager ( I forget her name) suggested "How about you open a mailbox with us?". So, after opening up my mailbox, paying the startup fees etc... I was informed that myself (as well as every customer) had several payment options on their mailbox. Being $45.00 for every 3 months, or 6months for $90.00 or 12months for $180.00 you get it. Not too bad, and affordable for most, however all UPS's DO NOT accept monthly payments. So as time went on my payments continued and life went on. Now: Around 2019ish pre-Covid to the present that's when I noticed policy changes. Starting with pricing. I received an email that my mailbox was due for payment, and when I went to pay my usual $45 renewal for another 3 months the same manager that who encouraged me to open up my mailbox said before I swiped my card "That'll be $60." I said with anger and confusion "What do you mean?" "The fees have always been $45" then she told me that THE OWNER decided to add an extra $5 per month to their original $45 fee, that went into effect a month earlier!!! Then she also emphasized other new....changes the owner made. that if I discontinued my mailbox instead of being charged $5 per package, they now charge $5 per DAY per PACKAGE.... incentivizing me to maintain my mailbox. Even worse UPS DID NOT notify me of these policy changes. Either way I paid them the fee. Oh, but it gets worse when the pandemic hit. THE OWNER, not management decided to give people a payment grace period, which seemed good originally. So, I'll admit I skimped and missed a payment or paid late at first taking the owner up on his offer. But I did get caught up. But I guess one Rotten apple spoils the bunch, and the owners Covid kindness ran out. During January 2021 when I went to get caught up ( and did) the manager warned me stating to stay on top of my payments or else I wouldn't be permitted to get my packages, because the OWNER wants his money. I said ok. So, my worst fear came true when one packages ran two or three days late past my due date, and I came into get my packages. Unfortunately, I was 3 days late. The manager wouldn't let me get my things even though I had just maid a payment 1 week earlier. I asked her if I could shut it down, As she previously told me that was an option (since I was current!!!) and just charge me the $5. But noooo she tried to pressure me to keep it open by paying another $60 putting me at $120. Hell NOOOOOO!!!!! So, she told me to speak with the owner and resolve things with him. Thank God, he allowed me to close my account and did not charge the $5 per day fee. I'm overall beyond flabbergasted by my experience. I also did not know that each individual UPSs are a privately owned/operated franchise. I more than understand and empathize with an enterprise's goal of profitability but DAMN!!!!! I have been coming here for quite a few years, and also have a P.O. Box. I am in there virtually every day. A while back it changed owners,the new owner knows little about the business he bought and defers to staff and since that time the new management are only hiring two employees, prior to that there were always three people working. The volume in this location is extremely high, not only due to location but due to the proximity to Notre Dame, St. Marys, and Holy Cross. It breaks my heart to see how much work is piled onto those two employees. During Covid people were angry about masks, angry about distancing, angry about wait time. Without paying attention to the volume of boxes coming in and going out. The staff not only takes care of all of that, shipping, answering calls, helping customers, and receiving mass items from UPS and USPS. I know the staff seldom gets to take an uninterrupted lunch, and they often have to wait on customers who bring things in with no preparation. I have had to wait in line while customers are calling people for addresses, or literally packing their boxes on the counter, etc. Which should have been prepared a head of time. Then I have watched people yell and belittle the staff for things they have no control over. I have know a staff member, Hazel for years now from coming here. She is always ready to help and has always been kind. On top of all her normal duties she also is expected to manage the computer system, ( which recently was changed and she was expected to learn that with no assistance), she also has to train new hires. So if she or other staff are not smiling ear to ear at all times try to be kind. This is not a two employee store and hopefully this will be corrected, again, not the fault or responsibility of the employees. And, yes prior to being sold it did run much better!! Hopefully the new management will find it's footing and correct some of these issues. read more

Been here multiple times in the past year, including twice this week, and the employees are always talked to me with a rude tone of voice. Glad I am moving away and can use a different UPS store with nicer employees. read more

Dropped off a package here to return and...maybe I'm comparing this to equivalent places in Jersey, but I thought service was friendly, and most importantly, I was asked if I wanted a receipt. A receipt. I know, maybe that's protocol and I just hadn't known before but of the x number of times I've done this at other privately ran franchises, never have I been asked, and well, I never demanded either. They were full of suggestions, giving me all my options as I figured out how to get this bulky rocking chair across the country safely and for not too much money.
