The owner of this store saved the day with a last minute printing project. Every time I am in, I get quick and caring service whether it is for notary services or a large printing project. The owner is very knowledgable and able to troubleshoot almost anything even while training up staff and helping multiple customers at once. The prices are the best I've found around here and I'm grateful for them. My only wish is that they opened a bit earlier. read more

I have been coming here for over five years and I actually created a Yelp account specifically because I saw all the reviews personally singling out one staff member unfairly. These negative reviewers are just being MEAN! The man they are griping about is not rude, he just has a quiet and reserved demeanor. He has always, always dealt with me patiently, courteously, quickly and professionally, he knows exactly what he's doing, he's the knowledgeable one the other staff members turn to when they need help, he has never hesitated to help me problem-solve and has always come through for me. Without him this store would likely not be half as awesome as it is. Complainers seem quick to point out a person's country of origin while knowing nothing about how challenging it can be for people from another culture to adjust to all our direct eye-contact and fake banter, and I can't even presume to know if that's the story and I don't think anyone here does because hello that's personal. Maybe he's just a quiet person! Is that so unforgivable? Did he do his job professionally and efficiently? I'm guessing he did. Did he kowtow and act like your "bestie?" Hello, he's not your maître d', he's shipping a package for you. If gushing, phony-smile customer service is so crucial in your opinion then go ahead and dock a star, but leave a one-star review??? One-star reviews are for places that rip you off, or don't honor posted hours, or get prices mixed up, or have consistently unsanitary conditions, or staff that don't do their jobs... does this store really deserve to be ranked among those? We all know there's a certain segment of overprivileged reviewers who seem addicted to abusing Yelp for their own petty sadism. If I was behind the counter having to wait on such people, I'd be annoyed, too. Did somebody come here during rush-hour and have to wait in line? Oh, the injustice! Was it during the holidays, perchance? Did the staff not bring refreshments and hot towels? How long was the line? four-deep? Five? I've almost never had to wait in line here, and when I have, the line is normally not more than two people ahead of me. My longest wait was during the holiday rush, and I think that was only six people ahead, and again, that was during the holiday rush. This store is always clean, the shelves are always stocked, the staff are professional and competent, they explain my options clearly, and they always come through for me, whether I need to have a package wrapped and shipped or need to do Amazon returns, which I do frequently, and which they handle lickety-split with no trouble whatsoever. I repeat, I do Amazon returns here frequently, and it has always, always been a breeze. I'd like to also highlight a bonus in that this store has unusually good greeting cards. If you want something more interesting than the generic fare, give this store a try. The only drawback in my opinion is the lack of parking, but that's just how it is in Fremont. I came in to the Fremont UPS Store to purchase a padded envelope, and ship my return to Amazon. I walked in and clearly had ALL of the supplies I needed to complete packing my box. When returning to the desk to drop off my package the same two people who saw me when I walked in assumed I didn't bring my own shipping supplies from home. The one man asked the other man in their language if I had paid for the tape, and if I had printed the label for my package in the store so he could charge me for it. I'm a Chinese person who speaks the language, but I don't look asian. This assumption by these two people working today was quite offensive. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING to this location again. read more

Jenet (Jannay sp?) at this location is absurdly unfriendly. The other person, a guy whose name I don't know is super sweet. Unfortunately after my experience today I have to give one star. I have interacted with her twice. Both times I've walked up and said hello in a friendly way and she has given me a dirty look and replied NOTHING back. Not even a hello. She seems almost despondent. Today I asked if there was a manager I could speak to and she simply said "no." with zero explanation or elaboration. Tried to clarify for a couple of minutes asking further questions but just got stone walled. I feel very targeted by her as a young woman when I have witnessed her be perfectly normal with others. Wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was just having a bad day but it has now occurred multiple times and makes me SUPER uncomfortable and feel discriminated against! wanted to write this so the owner could see- this person is harming your business. read more

I called them a couple times about an eBay shipment and they are so very helpful. Plus they give quotes over the phone, which FedEx doesn't do. There isn't much parking around here so it's better to ride your bike. read more

Normally I'm not a big fan of UPS, but this store in particular is pretty good! Imagine the nicest man you've ever met. Now take away his beard and give him a very soft, gentle voice and you've got the NICEST MAN EVER!!!! He happens to work at this store. I don't want to say how he was nice to me because it doesn't sound as great as it was. If you had experienced his demeanor and helpfulness you would think so too. Package left on time. There's a reason this UPS Store has one of the lowest ratings in the Seattle area. I shipped a package from this location containing items that were fragile. The box was appropriately packaged and marked as such. Somewhere during shipping, some of the contents were damaged. Fine - accidents happen. Here's the problem. The UPS Store NEVER contacted me to advise me of the damage. It wasn't until I tracked the package (because it never arrived) that I saw that it was damaged. I called UPS Corporate and they gave me all of the details, but, unfortunately, they advised me that I had to contact the actual store that I shipped the package from because the package was being returned to the store. Why? I have no idea. They also told me that it was the store who SHOULD have contacted me from the beginning. I called this UPS Store and was "helped" by a man with the worst attitude and lack of willingness to help. He even told me that if the package is returned there that I would HAVE to pay to have it mailed back to me. You've got to be kidding me. Pay for a package to be mailed back to me that should have been to delivered to me initially? GTFOH. I paid a whopping $78.52 for their "services." Unbelievable "customer service." NEVER use this UPS Store!! read more

Excellent customer service. I have a business mailbox at that location. I usually see either Janae and Stephen for printing/mailing services. They have been working there for years and are very friendly. The store is owned by someone else, all business and less smiley, but rarely interacting with customers. On occasions, I pick up my mail after hours using the electronic access key. That's very convenient. Of course, minor issues happen from time to time, like inconsistent printing tuner, but they are quickly solved. Something to know is that parking is difficult in front of the store, mostly possible a bit further away up Fremont Ave. I've been very pleased doing business with the store for more than seven years. read more

Ok, now I have never specifically gone to Yelp to write a negative review. Most of the time I just let a little irritation and slight wrong doing just roll off of my shoulders. Not this time. I went to this store to get a P.O. Box as we are moving from San Francisco and we needed a local address to get all of our mail forwarded too. Everything was fine at first, the line went quick and the customer service was pretty good. By the time it became my turn to get what I needed, I was greeted with a smile. I asked if I could get a P.O. Box from the company, she asked if she could see two pieces of ID and that my credit card did not count. At this point, things are still operation normal. I gave her my two pieces of identification and she went to make copies of them. The phone then rings, and she completely stops what she was doing for me and completely put all of her attention on the phone call. I let that slide as I know everyone deserves the same fair service. I was just irritated that she completely stopped serving me. By the time she finally hung up, she continued on the computer to enter all of my information (like she could have done while she was on the phone.) She asked my how long I wanted the mailbox for and I told her I only wanted it for a month. She informed me that it was company policy that I needed to have it for three months plus an extra month at a discounted 75$. Now that really irritated me but I needed the mailbox so I went ahead and paid it in full. What next is the reason they only get a one star review because this place does not know how to treat it's guests. I asked if I could receive the keys for the mailbox and she said NO, I am sorry but we only remake the keys when it is rented out. Again, I bit my tongue and agreed that that was fair. I politely asked when the keys would be ready to be picked up. I was told that Tuesday at the latest my keys would be available. I went back to San Francisco for a few days and came back on Monday. Remember, keys would be ready on Tuesday at the latest. Today is now Tuesday. I went this morning to get the keys for the mailbox and the lady at the front told me that she was sorry but she does not handle the keys, which I can understand, and that her manager would be in later on this afternoon around 1 PM. Ok fair, I would just come back and everything would be fine and ready to go for me right??? NOPE... After waiting for what seemed like 40 minutes in line for the manager to help people send an email that cost $4 to send, it was my turn to be served. Again, I have worked in customer service industry for quite a while and I understand that any paying customer deserves the same treatment, regardless of how much they are spending in the store. After the email was sent it was my turn to be helped. I asked the manager if the keys were ready like I was promised today for the box I spent money on about a week ago. He told me to hold on and go let him check. That was easy, I mean, I just wanted my keys. The manager comes back and says I am sorry but the guy who is supposed to make the keys FORGOT, I repeat, FORGOT to make the keys!!! Are you kidding me? I said, am I being charged $75 dollars from the day I bought the box or from the day I get my keys. Apparently when I bought it, is when I bought it, regardless of how long they choose to decide to make my keys. I asked the manager when my keys would be ready, and was informed that they would be ready by Thursday. WOW!!! OK!!! So we all know I only need this box for a month, and a week of that month is already gone to really horrible service. Nothing simple and easy at this store!!! read more

Seriously horrible experience with both UPS Store and corporate - and apparently even though they are both UPS, they don't work together. First, paid large sum of money to have a package shipped 2nd day air for a trade show we were attending. The package did not arrive on time. Called UPS with shipping tracking number - they blamed the UPS Store. Told us there was nothing they could do. Called UPS Store - they told us it was UPS's fault and there was nothing they could do. Several calls back and forth and blame game continues. I said that I don't care who's fault it was, what is 100% clear is that it is not my fault and I paid $150 dollars that needs to be refunded. Not to mention, my business lost out on the trade show presentation. But, not once did anyone say "Sorry for screwing this up." All either side said was, "It's not my fault." Will not be taking my business back. Unbelievably horrible experience. read more

First time here. They were great! Needed to get a package to Las Vegas - and really didn't want to drive to the airport during rush hour. I called them too any times, in too frantic a tone - and they were steady and kind with me. I got there a few minutes late. They had the UPS driver wait for me. Scanned the package and printed off a receipt. If not for them, I could still be driving to the airport. Seriously, they were great. read more

I've normally been a fan of UPS and their locations but today is the day I will never go to this location ever again. The store is supposed to open at 9AM per their website and front door and the man opening the store strolled in with a coffee in hand at 9:22AM. 22 minutes late is unacceptable when operating a business. He strolls in, turns on some lights, turns on computers, and says "Oh my stupid computer won't be operating for another 5 minutes." Great, now I need to wait another 5 minutes. Shouldn't you have turned the computer on at 8:55? While we're waiting 3 other customers walk in and now there is a group waiting for the employee to get set up. To ship one simple package it took 35 minutes. To top it off, while he is putting my shipping information into the computer he says out loud for everyone to hear, "I need a f**king new computer!" they can't tell time. The sign says close at 7pm. I arrive at 6:57 to find the door locked and all the cages pulled. He couldn't help me cause he'd "shut down the computer" and couldn't restart them. I've shipped packages from this location many times, but always during the day. Experience was fine -- nothing special. Yesterday I stopped by in the morning to drop off a pre-paid box that needed to go out right away. I sort of assumed that shipping places get an early start, and I showed up at 8:40am only to discover that they don't open until 9am. Ok, totally my fault. Should have checked first. So I figured I might as well hang out for a bit since surely someone would be showing up to start opening things up in a few minutes. Wrong again. By the time I left at 9:15am, there was still no sign of life inside, and three other potential customers had come and gone. I called Sip and Ship in Ballard and found out they open at 7am, and they were super friendly and on the ball. I drove over there and was in and out in a jiffy. They'll be getting my business from now on. read more

I was charged $54 to mail a very small package (two CDs) to Europe via USPS and was quoted over $100 to send it by UPS. It seemed steep but I was in a hurry and sent it anyway. An identical package cost me $12 and change to send to the same country earlier this week. DO NOT mail packages here! Got to the post office! There is outrageous markup. read more
