Note: They are in the plaza with Walmart - but they are on the far end of he plaza…read more The first time I used this company was over a year ago and while the print quality on the postcards wasn't up to my clients / nor my standards - they acknowledged it and did the honorable, appropriate thing to make it right. The business cards turned out great though - and it was a less than 24 hour turnaround. I've used them a few times since then - and here's what I've found. The prices are very affordable and the staff is pretty responsive. I can't give them 5 stars because twice now, one of the owners / staff members has gotten snappish & snippy with me about something that I had no way of knowing was not included because to be quite honest - I'm used to it being included when dealing with print kiosks in Office Depot, Staples and even when dealing with actual print shops like Prima Flyers. Once - it was a laminating / mounting issue - and the last time - it was a trimming issue (which - in my defense - I had indicated that they needed to be trimmed in my initial request). When I apologized for assuming that it was included and said I would take care of it myself - that really didn't seem to help. Also - the last two times I've visited the shop - I experienced a little ___. When I came in - one staff member had clearly finished with a transaction - and was just chatting with the client - and another staff member was standing there listening. And I was left to stand there while they finished chatting. And then it happened again - but the last time - it wasn't a customer - it was a guy trying to solicit business. I didn't really mind the chatting - but I felt that it would have been nice, if at least one person would have said, "Excuse me" to the person, then made eye contact with me, and said, "I'll be right with you." Or something to that effect. I'm from a very small town - so I'm just not used to not being greeting or acknowledged when I walk into any place of business - so I'm probably more sensitive to that then someone who's used to life in 'the big city.' Nevertheless - with print quality and prices - I can tolerate occasional snippiness and being ignored for a few minutes. Lol.

Their shop isn't fancy but their customer service is what you would expect from the Ritz. I walked into their shop almost 45 mins after closing and was treated like their most valuable customer. Not only did they tell me to email my business card vector files anytime that night, but also that his wife would make any graphical changes to make it look "amazing on paper". I looked stressed because I work a high stress job- they could care less about my appearance or the money in my pockets or the car I was driving. They cared about me and took a personal interest in my situation. 130lb paper. After closing hours. UV coated. Ready for pick up before they technically open.... You don't find that very often; but when you do, you park your car next to Starbucks and take the time to appreciate those who take pride in their work. If the owners end up reading this, I just want to say thank you for everything. If you are a possible customer- I assure you that MetroGraphics is the best in industry.

Around 4:45 p.m., I went in to mail a simple greeting card to British Columbia, Canada. The employee's first suggestion was to send it via FedEx for more than $70. The process didn't seem correct as she was putting it in a shipping folder, I questioned why and when I asked if I could just mail it with stamps, she told me no. I explained that I had mailed greeting cards internationally with stamps before, including to Australia, and only then did she change her answer to say she didn't know how many stamps it would take. She actually asked me how many stamps I wanted to buy, which left me completely confused. I said I didn't know which is why I came to a mail Center. I want to believe this was simply an honest mistake by someone who hasn't been properly trained. However, it's concerning that a business providing mailing services couldn't determine the correct postage or take a moment to look it up. Had I been an older or more vulnerable customer who didn't know to question a $70 shipping quote for a greeting card, I might have paid it unnecessarily. I left without mailing my card because I no longer had confidence in the advice I was being given. I've been a loyal customer because I wanted to support a local business, but after today's experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I hope the owner sees this as an opportunity to better train staff so future customers receive accurate information and don't leave feeling as frustrated as I did. I returned home and did an online search to discover that all I need is USPS Global Forever stamps (costing $1.75).

Gallery Street was one of my top choices based on phone conversations. Their website is also a plus. I'm lucky to be close by where I could pick up my prints. I placed my order online seamlessly and 2 days later, they were ready. They have a variety of options which are also fairly priced and the quality is actually good. I haven't had the best of luck finding a place to make prints of my paintings. And the quality was very impressive. No issues with misalignment or poor overall quality of print (this has happened to me at other businesses). My first two prints with them were color copies which came in a pack of ten and started at 8x11? onward in size at $15; The second set of prints were glicee and the paper is just like the original watercolor paper I used. Plus, I was able to get it in 5x7 size. I feel like no other fine art printer services were offering that size. I am most certainly going back since I know what I'll be getting and also if any corrections would need to be made it will be easier to deal with as they are in person. They also offer the option to ship. So you don't have to be local to use them. Highly recommend.

After that happened a few times, I decided I'd rather spend my money elsewhere, because I refuse to support such crass behavior. The next time I decided to send valuable disc and asked which service guarantees fast and 100% delivery. They advised me UPS. I sent, but my parcel was lost. Several times I came to Parsel Plus. but Raj assured me that now UPS does not scan parcels and showed me someone's negative feedback on Google, that the parcels are not scanned, and they can be lost. The tracking showed that the parcel was still in the post office. As a result, the parcel arrived a week later after paying for 2-day delivery. Today I came to the post office again, but Raj refused to serve me in the presence of other customers, because I "did not believe in his words that the parcel was sent on time." Very unprofessional.
