Jan. 22, 2026 Approximately 11:00am Went in today and received the usual disinterested welcome. I Gave the woman two packages to return to Amazon. I asked the woman to please make sure to give me a receipt for both packages. She did not reply. I told her that I asked her to make sure of both receipts because I left two Amazon returns a few months ago at this location and got only one receipt. One of the returns never made it to Amazon and it cost me $76.00. She Acted annoyed and said "I gave you two receipts" and stared at me with a blank look on her face. She showed no concern at all that they screwed up in the past. She apparently does not like her job and does not like her customers. If this is the case she should at least fake being nice or quit her job. read more

This location has slowly gone downhill. There used to be great customer service, that is nonexistent anymore. The two people that I always see there are unfriendly, at times even rude, not solution oriented at all and super slow. So dissapointed.. $5 to print a half of page in black ink on normal 8.5 X 11 paper. The price just to print this is more than I paid for the actual shipping cost! I usually come here to print shipping labels I purchase online from USPS to save money. Prior price 50 cents, this time $4.99? I ask why the price change the clerk says "it's policy". Mind you I did not buy postage from them, I did not get it printed on special paper it is just a print job that takes up half a page in black ink. Sadly I am disabled and could not go somewhere else or I would have. If charging $5 for a half page of print is how they plan to pay their workers a living wage I am appalled, cut Carol Tome's compensation (the CEO of UPS) she made over $27 million dollars in 2021. Please do not patronize this company. Update: You could have saved your form response UPS Store. Your response included - your price for this job was high because of "...the high-quality materials, expert labor..." YOU CANNOT TRUST THE PERSON BEHIND THE COUNTER ON A THRUSDAY AFTERNOON AROUND 5! The person behind the counter couldn't answer a simple question! I wanted to track my letter so I brought it in without a stamp. She said it would cost twenty bucks to track and 6 bucks for a stamp. I couldn't believe this so I asked if it was the same stamp that costs .45 and she yes only it costs $6. I asked again because that just seemed like an egregious markup and she reassured me that yes, it's the same stamp and it costs $6. So I went home, put a forever stamp on the my envelope, came back and asked for tracking. She looked at the envelope and burst out with "why did you put a stamp on it?" Arguments ensued and she agreed to give me a prepaid stamp for $20, so basically the price of the tracking. I double checked and she was angry that I was making sure. When it came time to pay, it was $25.99 I reminded her of what she promised and she said it was an estimate. This is not professional behavior. Do not use this store. You can't trust them to tell you basic facts or to mean what they say. Childish. read more

Am 96 year old using cane. Open box containing $600 conmputer/accesories for shipment was carried by my housekeeper. On request that box be sealed in my presence older clerk stated publicly, "You are a troublemaker, so a $0.99 charge is required". Cash payment was made without comment. For greater security I requested a second sealing tape be applied. The clerk informed me a another 99 cent payment was needed, which was made without comment. They get five stars in spite of the fact that they didn't give me what I wanted. I wanted a live scan and arrived after the live scan person was off duty. She was waiting for her ride, but she did the following: 1) Allowed me to email her a copy of my form, which I had forgotten and they printed a copy for me. Very much appreciated. 2) They told me that this service was available at all locations (info not on the website). 3) They told me the location of the closed location to me. This neighborhood UPS Store makes shipping a breeze. I stopped by on a Friday afternoon around 5 PM, and although there was only one employee working and a long line of customers, she handled everything with a calm and efficient demeanor. I was shipping merchandise, and she quickly helped me get started. While I packed my items, she assisted other customers, but the moment I was ready, she immediately turned back to finish my transaction. She's the kind of employee any business would be lucky to have. I've always had great experiences at this store--everyone is so helpful. An employee here literally stole my iPhone shipment! UPS tracking showed 'ready pickup' here. I work just down the street so I immediately went to the UPS Store and just as I walk in, I see the employee making a copy of what looked like the box Apple uses to ship iPhones in the photocopier behind the counter. She then proceeds to put that box somewhere under the counter and tells me they don't have the shipment, that they received their shipments for the day and mine is not there. I show her the tracking which clearly states that it was delivered to this UPS Store location and is ready for pick up and she keep saying 'we don't have it' and keeps telling me to call UPS. Super shady employees here. Avoid this location at all costs. read more

really appreciate the good service here - Bianca is always warm and efficient. I drive much further to send USPS goods here and avoid my local post office (point richmond) at all costs - due to the downright hostile employees there. Great service here and convenient to send UPS, return amazon goods and USPS small items. I would suggest buying your supplies elsewhere because the markup here is crazy! I think a roll of tape costs $9. Really appreciate the great employees though. read more

They refused to take a Nespresso package even though it had a prepaid ups label on it. They suggested going to another UPS store.

I went here to get finger printed for a job. All seemed to be well, but after I turned in my paperwork, my job got a notice from the federal government that the finger prints were done incorrectly, and UPS needed to redo them. That's fine, so I took the rejection letter from the federal government, my receipt, and the original paperwork, and went back to the store. When I got there, there was a sign saying "on break, come back in 15 minutes" which I did. I came back 20 minutes later and gave the paperwork to the employee there. She asked me where my new request sheet was, I had to fill out a form each time I got fingerprinted. I wasn't aware I had to fill out a new sheet, and I hadn't brought one. I asked if I could print one there, and she said yes, but explained I had to pay the usual free to print there and access the internet. I asked if they could make an exception for me paying for a new form, since the only reason I needed to print one was because of the error UPS made. She said she was already doing me a huge favor by redoing the test without charging me (even though it was their error and they're responsible for it) and that was UPS policy and there was nothing I could do. So, I literally had to drive home, print out a new sheet of paper, then return, and wait in line again. I don't think it's fair they should charge me for an error they made. The woman then explained that my finger prints were faint and that wasn't her fault. I have been finger-printed many times and no one had ever told me this. She then told me it was because I am getting older, my finger prints were wearing down, and that's not her or UPS fault. At no point did she apologize for UPS doing my finger prints wrong, but mostly acted annoyed at me that the feds didn't accept their work. Also, I would suggest they hire two employees, instead of making that poor girl work all by herself, and not have any breaks. I hope these finger prints work, if they are rejected again, I'm going to ask for a full refund. read more

Been here twice now at opening hoping I would be able to get in and out on my way to work. They have a Starbucks in the same shopping center so I got a coffee and waited in my car. Each time I watched as the employee would barely open the doors to walk-in at 8. I waited a few minutes drinking my coffee and watched as two separate people went in and out before me (both were not helped).I waited a few more minutes before going in and she told me it takes extra time to open everything up. So I waited inside the store checking email on my phone waiting for her to be ready. Recommendation to the management: scheduling to meet business needs. The employee, seemingly annoyed that I was there, said they have been having internet issues and that she was showing up at 7:30 (waiting in her car). Or don't open that location at 8a if you can't successfully operate during this business hours. Not sure what is going on with how they run this location but the woman working this morning who drives the orange car is either being treated poorly by management (not have the tools needed to do her job like internet) so much that she doesn't care about working there anymore. Or she's not a good fit to provide customer service/open. read more

As a former employee of a large package delivery company, I know something about this business - it's all about customer service. The UPS store at the Meeker Ave Richmond location has been a beacon of light, in terms of customer service. Like many others, I will go out of my way to ship something from that location rather than suffer the agonizingly poor service at the Pt Richmond post office, which is only blocks away from where we live. It was a complex process to figure out, and I was so impressed with the service I received from Bianca. She was patient, helpful, informative, and very professional. Had an appt to get a service done and the manager who I had an appt with wasn't there. She was running late dropping off her kids at school (school is on winter break last week of December- good lie!). I waited over 30min and she never showed up. Meanwhile, the defensive and annoyed woman over the counter didn't know I had an appointment and rather than helping projected the situation back to me. The gaslight was unbelievable! It was like I was dealing with a school yard bully. Lack of customer service and sense of urgent. Avoid this location and go to El Cerrito - better customer service and attention, took me right away. Turns out they are VERY HIGH - I paid $14 to fax 6 pages plus their cover sheet. $2/page, ridiculous! I went in for an appointment that I made for a live scan. The lady at the counter ask if I had paperwork. I paid in advance and had a QR code. The live scan instructions instructed to show barcode and Id but not to hand over anything to the employee conducting the live scan. She asked if she can see the email on my phone. I handed my phone over assuming she would look at it for the purpose of this appointment. I noticed she was clicking on things, then says oops. I asked what happen and she proceeded to say she was emailing it to herself. I asked her to please not go through my phone and I could email it to her myself. She simply said that I was rude and she was canceling my appointment. I told her I was not rude that I was just asking her to please not go through my phone. That I had not given her permission to do that. She didn't care. She was unprofessional and rude. She didn't want to give me her name. This may not be her name but it maybe Ingrid. She was working on 10/29/23 alone. I hope she is talked to because her assuming she can just go and click through people's phone is not okay. Total invasion of my privacy. read more

Customer service really is a lost art. I walked in smiling behind my mask. Lol! I said Good Morning and set my Amazon return on the counter. Sylvia's response, "Do you have your bar code?" What happened to hello or replying back with good morning. No one else was in the store, so it wasn't like she was busy. I used to have a mailbox at this location. The other young lady that was here back then provided good customer service. Not sure what is going on now. I asked if everything was okay, and Sylvia replied yes. Why? I said because when I said, "Good morning," you didn't smile and no reply except do you have the bar code. I can understand if she was going through something personal but truly people just don't value having employment these days. I hope the management addresses customer service with staff, and when the new UPS location opens that their staff is fully trained not only on logistics but building relationships with customers. read more

Their costumer service went downhill, two of the workers are rude asf specially the one that looks like a guy she has a sleeve tattoo.

They helped me get some document's notarized on the spot. Great Service I recommend these guys anytime.
