After looking at several options and getting recommendations, we chose Mailboxes by Design. When I called to discuss, the woman was completely RUDE and told me that I can return the items for a 20% restocking fee. What?! You sent me the wrong item! I returned the items and received a refund for $76 on a $95 purchase. Scammers!! What business in their right mind needs to charge a restocking fee....except those that are incompetent and CANNOT stand behind their product!! Guess they can just mail the wrong parts to you whenever their low on sales and still make money off of their customers! I am a business owner, as well....our repeat customers LOVE us because we stand behind our products. I would NEVER disrespect them like this. Good luck with your piece-of-crap mailbox business....because you can only screw your customers once....NO REPEAT customers for you. I will be sure to tell all of my 300+ neighbors in our subdivision that have the same mailboxes. AND I'll make sure that they all pass it on to their family and friends and co-workers, etc. Trust me.....their are other more DIGNIFIED businesses that sell mailbox parts besides you.
