I have taken my computers To DS Computers several times for viruses, not working, etc., and I've never been disappointed. I've been totally frantic believing all my info and photo's (I'm a photographer) were lost and Darin got them working wonderfully. Having dealt with other computer service centers I was not very trusting of anyone, but Darin's shop was referred to me by a friend and I was desperate. He put my mind at ease and had my computer fixed and running great when he told me it would be done. I have even called him with questions and he graciously answered them on the phone. I will NOT take my computers anywhere else. Should I decide to get a desktop I will come here and have him custom build one. His prices are reasonable, he is very personable, honest and knows his trade. Shobey Day read more

Darren knows how to operate a small business - regular hours, he actually shows up during those hours, returns calls and understands technology. This no-frills place is big on service and reasonable on your wallet. Knowing that everyone wants their computer back the same day, Darren makes every effort to have you back on the internet before you can say gigabyte. Honest and polite, why would you go anywhere else? read more

Darren Schultz knows computers, but he's not one of those RAMier-than-thou IT guys that treats you like an idiot when you go into his store with a sick computer. His approach is as straightforward and no-frills as the little office he operates his business from. He is great at maintaining contact with his customers and explaining what's needed to get their computers up and running again. There are no hidden costs and no upsells... bottom line, I wouldn't take my computer anywhere else. read more

Got a computer problem? 60 dollars... Virus? 60 dollars.... Computer needs reformat and re-install to factory settings? 60 dollars.... Most fixes cost more than what should be priced. I know this first hand because my husband works for a company in an IT dept. Most computer issues take 5 mins to fix but this place doesn't tell you that. I've called to see how much it costs for a reinstallation of software on my laptop just to see how much they were charging. yup 60 dollars for something that takes 20 minutes to do with only 4 clicks of your mouse! read more

Most recently my elderly, disabled, widowed mom's dryer needed a belt changed and he did a fast, fabulous, and affordable job, then helped her with a fridge problem for free. What a great human being who is absolutely 110% knowledgeable about everything and won't charge an arm and a leg.

We had a great experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend Koons Home Center in Richmond!

If you are looking for a Heating and Cooling Company with no communication skills, look no further!…read moreThis is the company for you. I had them come out in mid-October to service my Furnace and AC unit. They gave the standard 2-hour window, no problem with this. HOWEVER, Not only did they not call me to tell me they were running late, but when me, myself, and I called them to ask where they were they lied and told me they were only about 30 minutes out. 1 hour later I finally got a call saying they were 15 minutes out. So glad I left work anticipating them being there during their window, but now they will be coming even later! I reluctantly stayed until they arrived, and showed them to the Furnace, AC Unit, and Thermostat. My wife was home at the time, so I told them if they had any questions ask her or call me on my cell, which I provided them my number. Shock, to my surprise they left 10 minutes after I did. Provided no report of what they accomplished or looked at while they were there, but I also tried contacting their boss Casey Short to get an update on the report. A week goes by and I hear nothing from Casey. Two weeks go by and I finally hear something from Casey that he will look into it tomorrow. Another week goes by and Casey finally tells me he looked into it and can't find a service report from his guys. Didn't know tomorrow meant one week... Either way, he apologized about his guys not filling out a report or doing their jobs, and offered to send them back out and redo the service at no charge. What a nice guy right? I responded back to Casey the next day explaining that I would love to have his guys back out to redo the service, but I feel obligated to pay at least for one of the trips, I understand paperwork gets lost and stuff. Wouldn't you know I didn't hear a single peep from Casey to reschedule after I sent my message back to him? The first text went to him on November 1, then another on November 20, one on December 3rd, another on December 4th, and lastly one this morning. No Response to any of them. I must say the communication and their dedication to making customers happy is chefs kiss.
