To be honest I don't use laundromats very often, but I wanted to wash comforters and such, and my machine wasn't going to cut it. The biggest washers were $4.00 a load, and the dryers were $.25 for "about five minutes" (as per the words of the attendant). This seems somewhat expensive, but I did appreciate how helpful the attendant was (yes, I did need help figuring out how to use the washing machine :P ). While I was waiting for the bedding, I watched the attendant (owner?) hand ironing shirts, which I assume were part of the laundry service that this site also offers.
The place is a little run-down, but I was impressed by how clean it was (including the tiny bathroom), and by the fact that there were several magazines and other (current) reading materials freely available in racks near the door. There were also a few (ancient) arcade games, and a couple of vending machines if you were desperate. However, since this place was in the same lot as Subway and near Taco Bell and Arby's, I don't think the desperate would turn these machines for their sustenance.
Oh, I even asked folks on FaceBook which laundromat I should use, and a few of them suggested this place as well, so my favorable impression probably isn't too far off. read more
