I have been using this store for as long as it has been open. We live nearby and have had great service every time we use their services. What does happen during busy times is the place gets full and seems slow. What I know for sure is this store is sooo much faster than going to the post office during busy times. I just dropped off a bunch of packages and the front desk lady was incredibly rude for no reason and provided me with much attitude. I kindly asked her for her name and she pointed to her shirt where she clearly was not wearing a name tag and said "I don't give out my personal name" and I said oh okay well you have purple hair and face piercing so it will be easy when I complain to a manager and she said "good luck finding a box bitch" What world do we live in where these types of people are employed and represent the front desk of an office. This is one of the poorer Ups stores in the area . They never seem to have enough help. Last time I was there they still didn't have the self serve kiosk for Amazon returns like other ups stores have. And they want to charge $3 just to accept a USPS package to throw it in a bin for USPS to pick it up. The other ups stores in my area do not charge for that . Very disappointed in the charges. I understand prices are high, but come on $2 to put a piece of tape on a package. This why I go to the Haven location in Rancho, just a couple of blocks away. They're open on Sundays, customer service is outstanding, the store is bright inside not dull like this location, and extremely clean. Although this location is much closer, I will continue to go to the Haven location next to Trader Joe's. This location try to scam. They charge 95 dollars cash only for fingerprints. However other locations charge 85 dollars any type of payment. I suggest you do not go there because of the suspicious behavior. read more

If I could give -5 stars i would. Umm just no , no, no. Scanner was not working, he blamed my phone and rolled his eyes. Two Gentlemen with shoulder length hair, not ONE ounce of proper customer service. Told me he'd let me slide this time for not charging me for TAPE take in mind it was basically packed already he added 3 INCHES of tape. And i was going to get charged 3$ for that???? Lady came in and they charged her for the same obnoxious amount of tape. Save yourself some frustration and do not patron this UPS store location. I've used this store two times and both times my experiences were negative. (I should have just stuck with the one on Haven in the Vons shopping center. The staff and owner there are nice people who provide good service.) The little curly hair ponytail boy with glasses "helped" me. He claimed his name was Nelly, but he wasn't wearing a name tag. He was unfriendly, unkind, and unhelpful. He behaved as if he was doing me a favor by doing his job that he gets paid to do. He wanted to charge me $2 to use one short piece of tape to seal my box. When I kindly told him I would just take my stuff to the other UPS store to avoid the extra charges he acted smart telling me I could take one of my other items there too. Apparently word around town is that this store wants to nickel and dime you, and the employees are unprofessional. It blows my mind that an employer would allow this behavior. Terrible service. They have adopted a new charge to tape your packages that are being returned to Amazon. Although I thought two dollars for a piece of tape was excessive I've paid it a couple of times since they've adopted. Today, however, I encountered a very rude young man by the name of Randy, who attempted to charge me two dollars per strip of tape. When I challenged that he became arrogant and sarcastic. I've asked for the manager or Owner's contact information. I was given the stores phone number which essentially led me back to him. When I offered to leave my phone number for the owner to contact me, he told me in a joking way that she would never call me back over tape. Maybe she'll get some of these reviews and decide to do the right thing and refund the overcharge. Again, two dollars per strip of tape is excessive and a rip off. If business is that bad, you should consider other options rather than overcharging the customer. read more

Thieves. This is the second time they have stolen something. It's obvious because the employee helped me with the item, I made sure I out on insurance and two weeks later it says it wasn't even recieved at the facility even though I have a receipt. I almost don't want to give a review because I don't want the line to get long! The guy who work at UPS are awesome! I do a lot of Amazon returns for work, literally a laundry basket full every week, and everyone is so patient and nice with me. We have a system down. I have seen other customers come in completely clueless having no idea what they're doing and getting cranky because they don't know how to do an Amazon return or they chose the wrong store I need to go to Kohl's. I've been coming here for years- no issues. Most of what I do here is drop off Amazon returns. Even before Amazon allowed no box returns, they used to do the dirty work for me and wrap it up in one of their boxes. I don't often use other UPS services so I can't speak to the value of everything. I myself am a happy customer of this shop though. read more

He watched me (a female senior citizen) struggle to open the door while carrying a very large and heavy 35lb item. I went to drop of 7 packages during lunch and the line was out the door. There was one associate Jeff helping the long line of people with multiple returns and shipping request. The store was short staffed. Usually when the line is long, professionalism is out the door. Not Jeff....he acknowledged everyone as they walked into the store and apologized for the long wait. While helping each customer, he had a positive attitude and did not make you feel that you were troubling his day. I'm glad I ran into Jeff. His positive attitude was refreshing. read more

I usually don't write reviews but I felt compelled to say something after seeing the negative review posted yesterday. I was also at this location at about 5pm on March 20th and from what I remember the employee, Clifford, was being repeatedly insulted and nearly harassed by several customers because he simply insisted on enforcing the store's policies. I've been helped by Clifford at this location before and every time he has been both friendly and helpful, so I'm not sure where this anger is coming from. I may not agree with all of the store's policies, but that does not give me an excuse to berate and bully an employee like my fellow customers did yesterday. One of the angry customers even came back into the store while I was still in line and threatened to assault the employee. If you disagree with a store's policy that's one thing, but threatening a young adult over such a simple matter is NEVER ok. I don't really know why someone would leave such a poor review about an employee who handled such a difficult situation with grace and maturity. To demand an employee be fired in a review where you leave out crucial information that shows how the customers in the store berated an employee with malicious intent is completely unacceptable in my opinion. Today was the second time I visited the first time was some time ago and the employee was very rude and gave off the feeling that she was annoyed and unhappy. do not do Amazon returns there. they will charge you to print the label and tape the box. I've never heard of a UPS store doing that ever. things must be very tight for them if they are needing to charge for a piece of paper and tape. read more

The girl that helped me had to reprint the label 5 different times due to her horrific spelling. Of course she kept blaming the computer. Front desk girl was extremely rude. Not pleasant at all does not look happy to be there. If there is a such rule for having a weight limit for there particular store. I took my package into the UPS store on Highland that I packaged & labeled myself to drop off for USPS (mail) & they told me there was a $1.00 fee to drop off mail.. I didn't think I heard him correctly so repeated what he said & he said "yes we charge $1.00 for you to drop off your mail or packages for mail pick up" Completely absurd when they just drop it onto a bin behind the counter. I said ok I'll go to another location to drop off, which I did on Summit Ave & they do not charge for mail drop off. I had an especially HARSH review about this place posted for a couple years. I complained about their horrible service, their tendency to lose packages, their constant problem with giving the wrong mail to the wrong boxes. Along with a couple horror stories of them losing a $800 package and claiming they didn't even though the delivery company had their signature that is was received. And the time they gave me a UPS envelope with a $18,000 check that belonged to someone else. Well I decided to update my review because this place actually got worse. They have a constant turn over of employees, so you constantly have to deal with noobs with your business dealings. That just suggests to me the owner of this store is a tight wad. And from what the employees have said he is a giant female hygiene product. They are supposed to notify you by text that you have packages to pick up but those notices are few and far between. And when they do, you go to pick up packages only to hear the tell you that they have not been processed yet so they can't be given out. (That is the truth, honest to God). So why haven't I switched PO Boxes? I have a small business that I can't just change my address because of all the letter head and paperwork I would have to change. And all change of address notifications I would have to do. Believe me, it is a royal pain in the behind ( ask me how I know). Trust me, find another UPS store....... Went for notary service at this store, six signatures for $15 per signature. My wife ask the Notary Public Kiilani Goleco if she can email them to her and said yes. When I am paying, she said the total is $108.60! She charged us for scan of $3.50 + $1.50 per page = $17 extra without telling us! Had she told us about the fees, we could have done it ourselves! My wife says, "OMG why didn't you tell us!?" Her excuse for not telling us: 1.oh well, they've been scanned already! 2. they're busy! 3. she should be on her lunch break! (Transaction was done at 4:18pm). If we're told about the fees for scanning/emailing, that'll be our option to proceed or not, but she didn't tell us! Poor handling of customer!
