I have been to this UPS Store at least twice. Each time I have been unimpressed with the friendliness or helpfulness of the staff. I usually go to the UPS Store in the Village District where the staff is always enthusiastic, patient, and helpful. This store is also not as large as other UPS Stores and is very convenient for residents in the North Hills, Midtown and Six Flags Road North Raleigh area. UPS Stores are reasonably economic for your shopping needs. And I like them better than USPS (very bureaucratic and inconvenient) and the Office (FedEx stores). However, this store is ok. Since this North Hills store is only a little bit closer to my than the Village District store, I recommend and will continue to go to that store, unless I have other business at North Hills like I did today., read more

Usually use FedEx Office and Print. They normally have people that can do a setup and print from documents on a USB thumb drive. Google said that this was supposed to be a FedEx Office Print location. It was not. I ubered to the location to get my document setup and printed just like FedEx has always been able to do. This location lacked the proper skills to setup the documents and was only able to print but wasn't able to figure out how to set it up. Was a wasted trip. I'll continue to stick with FedEx office and print for my printing services. read more

I stopped in to return a modem to AT&T. Ms. Blue was friendly and helpful to me. I was there on 3/17/23 around 10:25 am. The process was quick and there was no line when I got inside. She took my account number, pulled up my account, scanned the modem, & printed my receipt. I was in and out in about 5 mins. The parking wasn't bad when I was there. I found a spot right in front of the Walgreens next door. I will definitely be back. read more

Since Amazon starting doing their packages returns here, I've been to this UPS store quite a few times. I love that they open at 8am so I can head in as soon as I drop my son off at preschool. There is often a line, but I appreciate how much they try to hustle to get you out of there. There is an older gentleman who is always there in the morning and he is the best. The other employee didn't show up this morning so he was literally manning two registers trying to get folks out as quickly as possible. I was just contacted by the extremely rude manager Jason who constantly told me I was being hostile when I was asking questions about a package that UPS was having trouble delivering. He would speak over me, not let me finish my questsions, kept saying that I was angry. It wasn't until I was told I was angry 3 times that I did indeed get angry. Tried to tell me that the address was incorrect/incomplete and say that when looking it up on Google Earth it showed 4 large bulidings. When in fact, when you look it up on Google Earth, you can zoom right into the exact and building of the address. THEN tried to say that after it comes back to them we could resend it at a charge! I will not be shipping this again via UPS. Hope it is just this store and this manager that is so rude to customers. I would hate to stop using UPS all together. read more

We needed the services of a notary, and via a Google Search found that service is done at this location. I called to verify and got the hours the notary would be there. The store was very busy when we arrived and we had to wait for a bit until the notary could work with us. Once we started the process we found the notary to be polite and professional. It is as part of the North Hills complex, so know that parking can be scarce and tight. Storefront area parking means please be aware of the people that are using the parking lot as a shortcut off of Six Forks Rd. read more

Yet another example of a business employee choosing to not behave in a covid-safe manner. I walked into the store today and the older female clerk behind the counter had her mask dangling from her right ear. Further negatives with her indignant behavior and lack of courtesy when I made it to the counter and asked her to put her mask. She did comply with my request but when I left the counter and the next customer came up she immediately removed the mask. It is a small enclosed space with labored breathing when she moved packages around - nevermind her loud talking (we wear masks to protect other people). If you are trying live a covid-cautious life you probably want to avoid this location. read more

This UPS store in North Hills is open until 7 p.m., which was very helpful when I worked late one day this week and wanted to get a soldier's care packages in the mail to Afghanistan. Thankfully they were still open, though they weren't particularly helpful with the customs forms. Parking is also not good at this location -- it's across the path from Bonefish Grille and all those other stores right in there. The place is always packed. If you need a later-night place to get your stuff shipped, this location is open a little later. read more

Would not recommended this particular UPS store to no one! Dropped off package only to have it returned to my home address, while tracking indicating sent to said receiver on address label. Returned package to UPS store they scanned again only to get package lost. Now after a month, Now vender is indicating I didn't return two items listed on outside mailing address, now indicating I sent back a purple backpack purse! Which is a total lie!!!Two items valueing over $400.00 being returned missing? Are you kidding me? As a customer service professional I critique service I receive, more often than not, I'm left speechless from disappointment and shock how people don't know to feel shame for the way they treat customers while calling themselves a "customer service representative." There is no shortage of bad attitudes from impatient representatives as though they're completely unaware of the fact customers are THE reason they're employed!! I went into The UPS Store at 4441 Six Forks Rd Raleigh where 2 ladies have restored my faith and actually made me proud! I can't recall the time I've seen 2 people work so well together, Ivy and Kelis have great chemistry and are TRULY A RARE FIND IN THE ART OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! I wasn't treated like "some slow old lady who asks 100 questions and still can't figure it out!" They got what I needed from conversation, like they were pleased I chose to take my business to them, they gathered what I needed from conversation... that was without me realizing they were probing for the information, THEN, they told me ONLY the options that I needed, which is what I required, they didn't quote THE WHOLE MENU and wait for me to ask for each 1-by-1 only to say to me "THAT ONE won't work for what you need" until I landed on the service I needed to get my package where I needed it to be when I needed it to be there! (which was actually yesterday! YIKES!) They gave me the 2 options I had and explained the without me having to ask a single question. IVY & KELIS WERE THOROUGH, CLEAR, EXTREMELY POLITE AND CONSIDERATE WITHOUT A SINGLE TONE OR HINT OF ASININE! I walked out of there feeling like I visited with friends, not feeling bad like I had made someone's day worse! THANK YOU, IVY AND KELIS, YOU GIRLS ARE A TREASURE AND A VALUABLE ASSET TO UPS! Two of the five packages I've shipped from this store have been delivered damaged. I never reported anything because I assumed that the damage may have happened in transit, and it very may well have. Yet this morning I walked over to ship another package at 8am. They were not open, even though their opening time is 7am. At least two other folks were waiting along with me. I am not one to complain on yelp unless something is truly a problem, but this store will only receive my business when I'm in a desperate time crunch. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The staff was friendly when I walked into have some colored pdf files printed. Once they receive the files they immediately printed without asking any questions. AFTER they printed my files in black and white I stated I needed them in color. At that point they said the color printer was down. I told them some of the printing I couldn't use because it wasn't in color and I didn't want to pay for those. I was told I had to pay for them because they had already printed them and THAT WASN'T THEIR PROBLEM!!! even though they didn't ask any questions about what I needed done nor told me the color printer was down!!! read more

This location has really diminished in customer service. At one point the staff was courteous and helpful now most are not trained properly. Obviously something has changed with ownership or upper management as the staff is not responsive or trained in the basic store services and have a "I don't care attitude". read more

Big shout out to Josh Ray at UPS in North Hills, Raleigh! After a really long day at work, the last thing I wanted to do was stop to pack up a lot of items and mail a package... Josh went above and beyond to make it a quick, easy experience, even helping me actually pack my items. He even explained the best ways for me to make sure the my package was safe from getting damaged, along with explaining different options and prices for shipping to help me decide... Great customer service and is super fast! I didn't have to do anything aside from pay. Yes, it is more expensive, but you get what you pay for and the smile helps. I had already had a bad experience with the post office and their pissy attitudes so I was just happy to get customer service that wasn't awful! Fantastic!!! This location has a great staff. The manager Josh was very helpful on numerous occasions. I had requested them hold my package after my box was closed and he was wonderful about it. The staff are always friendly and patient. During Christmas they certainly kept it together. I want to especially thank Kendra and Laurice. The store is easily accessible at the North Hills Plaza. With customer service and etiquette I have no qualms, these are fine young men. They just aren't sure how to use all the equipment.

I have been to a lot of other packing and shipping stores (usps, fedex, etc...) around the north raleigh area but none seem to have the same positive feel as this store. I dont feel like I am a burden to the staff when I walk through the door but rather am greeted with smiling faces and people that are eager to help. The manager knows everybody's name and seems to deeply care about people. 5 stars! would Highly recommend to anyone looking to ship in the NH area! read more

I received a package from DE and was charged a $10 pick up fee after the UPS store in DE called and verified that fee was paid on the other end. Called before I traveled across town and was never told that a fee would be required. Received three other packages and never paid a pick-up fee at different UPS store. I will never receive another package at this store. Manager educate all your employees, when they give out bad information, bad customer service!!!!! read more
