The UPS Store is located in the Sutton Square shopping center as Winston's Grille and Metro Diner. It is a busy shopping center, so finding parking isn't the easiest. The store seemed on the busier side, and not all of the employees knew what to do. This could be because of a new hire being trained, though. My package got to where it was going, so all is good there. read more

One DOES have to abide by Amazon guidlines when returning items and they are clearly posted on each and every Amazon return site. customer service is lacking at this location. Tuesday, May 7 I arrived with an Amazon package to return, additionally, I wanted to print and make copies. Liz, the associate informed me that I must package the item before she could return it. I have often taken Amazon returns and have never been informed that that was necessary.. she made no effort in resolving my issue I would have purchased packaging if I would have been informed that was my option I have a disability, which I am legally blind. Normally, I am treated with respect and offered assistance due to my disability. After reviewing other comments made by other consumers, I realize that the bad customer service that I experience is not limited to only myself I do, however, feel that I was discriminated against due to my disability I emailed my concerns to the store and I received a reply that was rude and slander in nature. We were really impressed with the variety of services that the UPS Store offers. It was a Saturday and we needed a notary before mailing a letter certified mail, and we were able to handle all of that right there on the spot. The young gentleman there was very courteous even while waiting on us. He was focused and took special attention to our needs eventhough the line grew with new customers. The only downside, I would recommend staffing the place with more than one person, and cleaning the computer keyboards that the customers use. It was a bit tacky. This is the only shipping store I use. I often have to send packages internationally to my son. Every item is expertly packaged - even the most fragile ones. Not one Moravian cookie was cracked! Avoid this location; their business practices are predatory and dishonest. I was told one price at the register, then charged a higher price after I agreed to the work at the price quoted. The manager explained that there was an extra fee added after I noticed the higher amount being charged on my credit card. While the amounts involved were quite small, it is not okay to tell a customer that the charge will be one amount and then to charge an additional undisclosed fee after you have their credit card. I have no issue with the fee itself, only the fact that it was not honestly disclosed when I asked what the cost would be. The manager remained courteous and I don't believe intentional deceit was involved, but it is an unacceptable business practice to tell a customer that the charge will be a lower amount, have them agree to the work, then charge a higher amount. I do not recommend using this location for this reason. read more

I go into this store about once a week. I use this store to take care of my faxing, copying and computer needs. I have always gotten the best service especially from Dylan. He is even willing to help me if I have computer questions when I am using their computer in the store. This store is close to my home and is in a great location. They are also give good service with a smile. Because of these reasons I come back here every time. read more

UPS is the worst carrier service I have EVER encountered. The first time they lost my package with no explanation. The second time I paid almost $60 for overnight service and it was delivered 2 days later and they made excuses as to why I couldn't receive a partial refund. This store overcharged a nonprofit and UPS corporate said they are all privately owned so they can overcharge if they want and nothing can be done about it. The nonprofit was charged $430 to ship four boxes across the country (they needed to be there in 5 days) - two boxes were super small. UPS corporate told me that the nonprofit was completely overcharged in their system. I have that in E-mail but they said I have to go in and talk to the manager and beg for the money back. I've decided to just use Fedex in the future AND disclose their overcharging online. Their employee also had no idea what she was doing and took forever to process the four packages. read more

We've never had any problems and they make sure every package is right before they send it. They have helped us find the cheapest and best way to send packages many times, even if we forget to ask. I was shipping several chairs out of state. I asked for a price to get an ok from the person paying the bill. The woman told me it would be $400, which seemed high to me but was approved by my customer. When I went to pay, the woman then told me it would be $475! I didn't want to go back for another approval, so it cost me $75. Courteous and patient service, but you need to be clear about the price you tell your customers. Not going back. read more

I came into this store to ship a package with a prepaid label. I did not have packing tape at home so I had to use scotch tape. The lady at the desk was VERY polite! She had a welcoming smile on her face and taped my box up correctly for free! She also gave me a card a 10% off discount and a card where I get to save money every time I visit. Great service! This isn't my usual UPS store (the other location is also wonderful), however, this particular day (a rainy Saturday), I was meeting some friends on this side of town and needed to ship a package. The associate was so pleasant and courteous, and she took her time with me (there were about three others waiting in line), while multitasking (assisting others).
