I love this location - Sam and his team are friendly, helpful, fast, and always have a smile ready when you walk through the door. Although I mostly use them for returns to that certain online seller, they are also my go-to place for any other shipping needs. Recently, I needed to ship breakable ceramic cookware, and there was no doubt where I would take it - and it arrived in perfect condition! In addition, there is always (or almost always) a notary present when they are open, which I have appreciated when I need to have something notarized, even on a Sunday. I can't begin to express my appreciation for the employees at the UPS store at Harvest Plaza. Recently, I was trying to put together a program for a funeral. The funeral was the next day and I was emotionally fragile, to say the least. David took over. He printed out pictures, set up the program, printed them out, and cut them out. He was so kind. I ended up having to run back in the next morning to have two more pictures printed. As soon as he saw me come in, he came over to me and asked me how I was. The pictures were printed and I was on my way. Everyone in this store is helpful, friendly, and understanding when I am not sure how to do something. I've been going to this locations for years and had nothing but professionalism. Just recently I had a bad experience with a somewhat new employee. I purchased a box to put a box of sneakers in it and I was charged $2 or $3 for her to tape the box, that's a bit ridiculous. The box didn't even need stuffing. When I asked her are you charging me to tape the box, she replied yes we charge to pack the box. I said but you're just taping it. I would have rather just bought the tape from them for $4 at least that way I would've gotten to keep the tape. I do a lot of shopping for my business and for my personal uses. I've never been charged to have a box taped up. I now go to another ups store 1.5 miles up the street and they don't charge for taping a box nor does the ups store on Falls of Neuse charge to tape a box. read more

I had a great experience at this UPS Store location today. I had several auto loan documents on a USB drive I needed printed, as well as copies made of my driver's license and insurance card, I also needed some of the documents notarized. Shelby helped take care of all of it, making the whole experience quick and easy. Very very disappointed today with the customer service. In the middle of a transaction in which I still had questions, the customer service woman interrupted our discussion to answer the phone. I was then ignored while she dealt with the lady on the phone. When I complained she said her manager does not allow them to ignore the phone even when they are with a customer. What kind of horrible policy is that???? That is so rude!!! I was so angry, I took my package to Fed Ex and found it cost $5.00 less to get it to the same destination and a whole day earlier. Even the cost of shredding was cheaper at FedEx. You just lost my business UPS!! read more

Literally signed up to Yelp to post this review. I have no idea what the detractors are talking about - this place has incredible service. As a filmmaker I am always sending things out, including submissions to film festivals. Without any forceable small talk, the woman behind the counter wished me luck in getting accepted on my way out of the store. Anecdotes like these are the reason I return. I have had the pleasure of working with Kristin and her staff over the last several days. I had a piece of furniture, a huge and unwieldy bean bag chair, which needed to be packaged and shipped back to the furniture vendor. Not only did they help me lug it from my car in the rain, they spoke with the vendor to procure a preferred shipping label, and then spent the better part of a work day trying to package the monster bean bag. I sometimes purchase auction items far from my home and thus I require the services of shippers of some sort or another. I have had mixed results with using The UPS Stores, sometimes they don't pack all that well, or they charge an exorbitant amount or are difficult to communicate with. With Sam at UPS Store 2967 at Harvest Plaza, I had the best possible experience. I first sent an e-mail out of the blue from California, choosing his store because this store had much higher Yelp ratings than several other UPS stores that were actually closer to the auction item location. I outlined my request in the e-mail and he phoned me back very soon thereafter and said he could provide the pick-up and packing within a day. I connected him to the seller and he had the item picked up, repacked and on it's way to me faster than such a transaction had ever happened before and at less than half the cost a similar service had cost me a couple of years ago. The very large and heavy box arrived in perfect condition and inside, the fragile item was in perfect order. It was a superb packing job. So, I can't recommend Sam and his staff enough. They provide fabulous service. read more

I order a lot of business cards frequently. My office has used other companies in the past. There always seemed to be multiple issues involved in getting them made. It was due to careless mistakes and was so frustrating. We decided to try to UPS Store 2967 and have never looked back. They have been so wonderful to work with. I have mostly worked with Shelby but everyone there is friendly and outgoing. They are so patient which makes the process so easy. I cannot recommend them enough. Went by to mail a package, need help finding the zip code. They lady behind the desk was more than willing to look it up. She was so friendly I ended up telling how many problems I was have with our US postman, that I getting mailbox in this store. I have never regretted it at all. This store accepts my packages and even sends me an email letting me know I have received a package. They hold it until I am able to pick it up even if I am out of town for no extra charge. I had a very large box to overnight (ended up UPS Freight) and they worked tirelessly to help me. I received emails updating me on the progress and another email when it was received. Customer service is excellent! I had to have my computer and monitor packed and shipped to my company in CT. My company has a FedEx account so I went there first. They didn't have a box big enough for my monitor so I went to UPS. They were extremely skilled with packing my stuff so it wouldn't break. They even took time to call the main office to confirm the address since what I gave them didn't validate in the system. Everything arrived as promised and was in perfect condition. I wish my local UPS Store was as clean, friendly, and knowledgeable as the one in Raleigh. read more

I had to wait in line. and the white young male would stop waiting on me to talk to his female co-worker. I had to remind hm to wait on me. he just got angry and yelled at me. He had taped the box for me. I was trying to send. He told me there was going to be a charge. And remind him of his harassment. And told him will not pay for anything.
