The UPS Store - Printing Services Near Me - Poulsbo, Washington

There is room for improvement at this location. Put in an order to print something well over a month ago now. Originally was told it would be ready the next afternoon. Then they called and said they ran out of ink. Didn't hear from them for a 1-2 weeks. Called to f/u and learned they received the wrong ink in shipment and they should've called with an update. That would've been nice. Called to f/u again and the manager wasn't working which seems inefficient that nobody else at the store could provide an update. It's been way over a month now and decided to check-in yet again. Person who answered today was not particularly friendly, but I don't care about that if you can get the job done efficiently or provide any information about what is going on at this store. I couldn't recall the manager's name, but she said any of them could help with print job inquiries. I explained what I was following up on to then be told the manager needs to address this and she's not in today. Lol I asked to confirm the order was still even in with them and projected date of completion on the print. She could not provide me an answer and did not think printer materials even came in yet, but honestly didn't sound like she knew what is going on. I cancelled my order. Highly suggest saving your time and energy and go elsewhere even if a little more inconvenient. You may actually get what you need. read more

You know those businesses who want to say no just because they can? This was my experience. I called to set up a new mailbox and was told we have to come in person. We are two states away and not moving up to this area until August but in the meantime need to set up businesses, utilities, moving company, etc. The rep and the manager were emphatic that even though we are in a different state there is absolutely "no way to set up a mailbox over the phone." How on earth can you support a consumer without making an exception for someone moving from out of state? It just doesn't make sense and it's not good business. I read a lot of "Bad Panda" about this particular shipping store...but they were close to me and I needed to turn in my Comcast Gear. So, I walked in expecting a long wait and a lot of attitude. They had several people doing self copy jobs--so I stepped up to the counter...and the nicest clerk with a big smile saw my arm full of TV junk....and said: "Oh Boy" "Comcast Return?" ... she told me just lay it all on the counter. In about 2 minutes flat I was out the door with receipts, more smiles, and an email thank-you on my phone. They have their act together...don't believe ALL the Yelp Nasties. All the employees from the Poulsbo location are excellent. I am a mailbox occupant and never had one bad experience with them. They are always professional, patient, and polite. If they are not too busy, they are even able to set my packages aside, imagine the amount they receive on a daily basis, for pickup as soon as I walk into the store to shorten our wait time. One day as I was waiting in line, Cameron was patiently helping an older fellow to gather information regarding mailing options. He guided him through and explained to the gentleman step by step. My experience with this store has never been the good and unfortunately this was the closest stop on my lunch break so I had to go here but Will NEVER again return. I hate UPS so much. No offense to those good employees that work for UPS but this company sucks as a whole and my packages are always damaged or delayed. I always leave upset so I'm never doing that to myself again. My last experience (yesterday): First I want to start by saying this store is not very big and when I walked in it was so muggy and nasty. They didn't have any AC or fans whatsoever. I brought a pre-packaged box to be mailed and packed it in a flat rate box at home thinking it would cost me about $15 as that's all it costs to send a flat rate, any weight box overseas. There was a couple in there mailing something to Alaska. I waited, filled out a form with my info as two employees spent time with one customer regarding apparently the biggest package they had ever seen going to Alaska...and prices were quoted differently the other day etc. One girl kept saying "we will be right with you folks" about 3 times as both of them stood with those customers for a good long while. I kept thinking in my head how terrible this service was and why did both employees have to focus their energy on one issue instead of the other customers waiting. When they finally figured they should split up and take care of the other customers (at this point there were now 4 people in line), she got to me and was completely flustered. She kept apologizing and saying sorry. She was nice but still very slow and confused. I had a time crunch due to being on my lunch break and no patience at this point. The clerk told me that my package had to be packed in another box because they can't have the "flat rate" on the outside and hat it might confuse the delivery people. Ok whatever, so I opted to get the box. So they quoted me at $17 total for everything, so I agreed that was fine. Well, then she failed to tell me that there was a fee for the box (and packing). Ok seriously! There wasn't any packing involved so I'm not sure what that's about. So after she had already run my card through, she gave me my new total and told me to sign. WTF?! You don't give someone the wrong total and then charge the card then when they sign it is a different amount on the receipt!!! Terrible service. So freakin' surprise this gift of $55 or so is costing me nearly $28 to ship to Colorado. WTF?! That is beyond ridiculous and I would highly encourage you to go elsewhere for your mailing needs. read more

The staff here are incredibly sweet and work very hard to be helpful. Unfortunately, the operation itself is very disorganized, and the staff seem poorly trained and overworked. There are always long lines, and things take longer than it seems they should. We had a package delivered here. I called in advance to set it up, but when I arrived to pick up the package, they had refused it because they didn't recognize my name. Turns out the person I spoke to never put me in the system. They were able to get the package back, but I had to return the next day for it. When we did get it, it took a half an hour for them to check me out, because there was some convoluted process for charging me the $10-per-package fee. (Which one might think they'd waive, after everything that had happened.) read more

I just tried to pick up a package at this UPS store. Since we weren't home at the scheduled delivery date and tome, we had redirected the package to the store. The package was addressed to my wife at our address. I presented my valid photo ID with our address (same as on the package) on it as well as proof of connection via the the notification on my phone from the UPS Choice app. The women working there would not give me the package because my wife's last name is different from mine. According to the following information from the UPS website, I had all the required information I needed to get the package. "If you need someone else to collect your package on your behalf, they'll need to bring a valid government-issued photo ID. Additionally s/he needs to present proof of connection to the address on the UPS label or to the named person (named person's valid ID or photocopy). Also accepted as proof of connection is an official notification (from the shipper or UPS) that provides the shipment/order details for the package (recipient name, shipper name, UPS Access Point location address and tracking number). Notifications can be printed out or provided on a smart phone." I think this stores management should train the employees on the requirements. After all, UPS leaves packages on porches with no proof of who lives at that address. read more

If you are looking for easy access to packaging materials and a quick way to ship stuff then look no further. The UPS store has most everything you need to get your stuff down the road. They do charge a bit more for the same stuff that you can find at the bigger box stores but hey, your time is worth something. They were a bit disturbed when I brought by Dyson vacuum there to be shipped out for repair because Dyson had prepaid the packaging and shipping in advance (must have made a flat rate deal with the UPS Store corporate office) since they were trying to charge me additional fees on top of my prepaid which I refused to do. They ended up calling somewhere and must have been told that they need to accept the package because they did and got it out for the repair. This was the only blemish out of all of my transactions with them. They also have post office boxes but I do not know anything about that. read more

I am wowed at the incredible customer service I received today at the Poulsbo UPS store! I don't how long ago it switched from Mailboxes etc to UPS and I don't know how long Stephanie has been the manager, but she is fantastic and so was the guy assisting her. I am a 62 yr old artist with massive amounts of art supplies, who is moving to Florida. I prearranged to show up Sat. morning, with a full load in a pick-up. They emptied the truck, hauled everything inside (where it was warm), emptied my totes and boxes, and repacked them in shipping boxes. While doing all this, Stephanie offered friendly, quick and knowledgeable service to everyone who walked in the door, and it was busy. She turned a tedious stressful chore into a relaxed and pleasant experience, and actually apologized because it took longer than usual due to the foot traffic. If I could give negative stars -5, they said we can ship artwork, paid the store to build a crate, paid extra for insurance, when it arrived the crate was broken and half missing and someone stepped on the artwork. Five months and sleepless nights later no one wants to take responsibility or pay the insurance claim. So I would not trust them to ship a brick across the street. So don't believe any guarantees and no sense in buying insurance because they won't pay for there blatant negligence. read more

I have done a LOT of business with this store this year. My sister passed away this year and I am handling her estate. Kenneth is always cheerful and helpful. He notarizes the paperwork that I need to sign, he gets it to where it needs to be in the time frame that it needs to be there. Kenneth shares with me the various delivery options that are available to me and patiently explains the differences between my choices. He has saved me additional expenses on many occasions. Best of all he remembers me, the names of the kids who are the beneficiaries of the estate and always asks about them by name. Kenneth has been my partner in getting through a very difficult process, a very hard year. He listens to me when I am overwhelmed by what I have on my plate and lets me vent.
