Gaby the manager was rude, disrespectful and racist. She treated me and my elderly parents with disrespect and this was all for a simple notarization task. She refused to give me the store number. Editing this review to respond to the feedback that we just got from John, as a business owner I would suggest instead of being defensive about the reviews and being in a hurry to respond to them, take time and and ask questions to understand what is happening. . She was disrespectful, unhelpful and condescending . She refused to give me your store number so I could file a complaint with the UPS head office which I did as well. UPS corporate desperately needs to audit this location. Everyone's polite, but I've experienced overcharges and attempts to overcharge here 3 times in the past 6-12 months. 1) First case, I was told by the employee that if she prints the label, her instructions are to round up the dimensions, no matter how little the difference. My purchased box had a length of 20.15 inches, but she had to round up to 21. If you look at the official UPS website, sizes are rounded to the nearest whole number, NOT all just rounded up (https://wwwapps.ups.com/us/en/support/shipping-support/shipping-dimensions-weight). This would necessarily ALWAYS increase your shipping prices, sometimes dramatically. 2) I brought in a large box and she quoted me $80. I went home and entered all the dimensions and weight and UPS online quoted me, I think it was $58. I'm not sure why the difference this time, but probably dimensions again. 3) I printed a shipping label through an online small business market place. I shipped it from this location. They told the online market that the package as 4 times its actual weight, and I was auto-charged the difference. I did work that problem out with the online market, but for this location to claim that an under 3lb box was 12lb to get double the shipping cost out of me is ridiculous. DO NOT use this location. And UPS, investigate them. Your reputation is at risk. Adding to address the reply: If you are rounding up to avoid packages being sent back, you should ask. I use purchased boxes that have the size printed on them. I verify all of them. I run a small business and if you add $22 to a random package, I can't stay in business. Rounding up from 20.15" to 21" can make a huge difference in ship price. I expect your other customers would prefer clarity as well. If UPS policy is to round to the nearest inch, there's no reason for there to be packages delayed for incorrect measurements. Your location's job is to verify the measurement and advise the shipper. You are incorrect that UPS doesn't change the price for 3rd party shipping agreements. I ship with an online printed label (through the 3rd party) and when your location accepts the package and marks a 3lb package as a 12lb package, I get hit with a charge upgrade. That's mostly on your employee who accepted the package and marked it as 12lb. It's partially on me for not checking their work. However, your employees do this all day long and it should be done correctly. And finally, I'd think UPS online would let me know if there was a promotion when I was checking prices, but that may be a fair assessment. Regardless, I have had none of these issues at other locations. read more

One star because the man at the counter was polite. Minus 4 stars for charging me to print a label. The employees were literally sitting and chatting, not working when I came in. Why should I be charged $3.25 (after tax) for the "inconvenience" of printing a label? I was also told that in the near future I'd be charge for the piece of tape for said label to go on the box. I will never come to this UPS location again and will let my coworkers know not to come here to, as I work near by. This UPS store has friendly, professional workers who know their stuff. They can do paper binding, xeroxing, shipping and Notarized. Store is always clean, rarely a line & if there is they try to get to each person in a timely manner. I've been coming here for over 10 years & will never go any where else. read more

UPDATE: She is LYING. It wasn't a disconnect. It was a clear HANG UP. I literally heard the hang up not disconnect. There is a difference. Don't try to spin the awful service. Worst UPS So I just got hung up on by the older woman that works here. And this is why... I have gone to this UPS many times. I've never been impressed by this location. The older woman is rude. They are super slow. And if you drop off USPS, it can take a week or more for it to start tracking. Seriously?!?! I dropped off a prepaid return package for Nordstrom. It literally didn't start tracking for 8 WEEKS. Anyways, the reason she hung up on me... I had three returns to Amazon. Normally I now go to another UPS where the vibe is awesome. Everyone is super friendly. They are fast and I've had ZERO issues. But I was in a rush as I was going out of town and this one was on the way to get on the highway to go to the airport. I dropped off the three items (bar code scanned) and received the drop off slip and I went on my way. Two days later I realize I never received the notification from Amazon that it was received. So I called and spoke to the grumpy older woman who informs me that it's UPS's rule that they don't scan anything until they have a full box. Seriously? No other UPS has EVER made me wait two days. I tell her that's not ok and inform her that no other UPS ever has made me wait two days. I inform her of the problems I've had with her UPS and tell her I won't be returning. This UPS store is super convenient. It's located near a Kroger, several food places, and a few small shops. Easy to park your car and get all your errands done in one stop. I have found the staff here to be kind and helpful. During social distancing times, they have been good about getting people in and out as quickly as possible. read more

I have been using this store for more than a year, but after today will no longer do so. I use this location primarily for Amazon returns and notary services. I have had MANY documents notarized each week/month at this location since November, 2020. Today I was told by a (rather young) cashier that "our location doesn't do notary services." When I asked why, I wows told "due to Covid". I guess the notary I paid for (and received last week wasn't real? Honestly and ethics matter. I would understand if they simply said the notary was unavailable. I am disappointed and, per the recommendation of that cashier, I will begin using the UPS store on Custer Road from this point forward. read more

Meh. I had to return something to Amazon and the only option I was given was UPS. There's no way I'd go in otherwise, but my central frustration was that Amazon wanted me to send back one tiny thing in the giant box they shipped everything in (ridiculous). So when I got to UPS I was informed I'd need to buy a box, which cost me about $5 to return a $12 item. At that point I was just over the whole thing, but the complete apathy and poor customer service here didn't help. They will not allow you to ship from a company or corporate UPS account, you must have prepaid labels or pay in full. They could not really tell me why, only that they don't allow it. They also waited until I unloaded all my boxes to tell me this when I had let him know what I would be doing prior to going back for the send load of boxes. read more

I went with mi wife to drop a sample to send to a lab. The older lady was very rude when my wife told her about her negative experience in other store. She blamed on us being our responsibility to make sure destination and remitente was confirmed. Then what is her role? Where is the customer service attitude. Just receive packages? The funny part of the transaction is that he determined that over the phone without looking at the box. He should go back to training and business school, if he ever went. Horrible customer service. Adil does not understand helping customers in the order they come into the store. I'm 32 weeks pregnant and carried in a bunch of heavy boxes and not once did he offer to help me. Then he tried to charge me $1 for each box to tape it. What a rip off. Other UPS stores that I've been to do not do that. Then I had to carry to heavy boxes BACK to my car by myself. Worst service ever. read more

I do not recommend this store to anyone who is looking for good customer service and professionalism. I will NEVER go to this store again. I went to this store on Saturday June 28th at 12:05 pm. I was never greeted as I waited in line for my turn. There were two customers ahead of me at the counter. I had two packages. One mailer bag of family pictures and a box with a gift for my sister-in-law. When it was my turn, the young man weighed both and informed me that I just made the cut off for First Class. He did not give me any options nor did he offer any other services or explanations (another way to mail, insurance, tracking, etc.). He simply said they would go First Class. I am not mail savvy and did not know that First Class was the cheapest way to mail and that there would be no way to track or insure it. First class sounded good to me. These options are always given at the post office. The package with the pictures made it to it's destination. The other box with the gift is MIA. I tried calling the store on Saturday 7/5 to talk with them about this. One time ( at 10:14 am ) I was put on hold 29 minutes and gave up. I tried again for 5 hours but the line continuously rang busy. I finally got thru again ( at 3:51 pm) but was put on hold 39 minutes and gave up. I sent them two emails detailing my issue. So this morning "Joyce" called me to discuss my emails. She never addressed the problems with the calls on Saturday. She explained that I sent the box first class, the cheapest way, and there is nothing that can be done. She stated that they did not get mail Saturday and that might be the problem. REALLY ...... She offered a very insincere "sorry". I specifically went to a mail store to send the packages the best way, Fully expecting to pay for a service that would get my packages to their destinations. I am so angry at this store's gross negligence and incompetence. I am absolutely blown away by the lack of professionalism, lack of customer service and lack of responsibility this store has shown to me. DO NOT go to this store if you want your package to arrive at it's destination. Horrible experience all the way around, beginning to end. I rate with a NEGATIVE score. read more
