I've never been able to figure out why Yelp's rating at this location appears so low! My experiences here for well over 10 years now have been well above average overall. An overall 3.5 Yelp rating just doesn't seem fair, albeit perfection with a 5.0 would be totally unreasonable. Over the years, these folks, and they've had their share of turnover, I experienced have done an exceptional overall service in their offering the consumer everything from shipping to packing, copying and shredding, passport photos to package acceptance and then some. Especially during Mother's Day and Holiday Seasons. Always with a smile and courteousness. I guess people always wait for busy season, and/or haven't got the patience to wait when its busy! The service itself was great, but the overall experience was horrible. This store charges for tape, and if you need to email them a label for printing, it's $2.50 plus tax. They even leave the tape sitting out on the counter, but after using the tape that's displayed, they tell you there's a charge. I've never had to pay for tape at any other UPS store. I'm very disappointed in management and this place. I guess when you pay for overt night shipping you get charged but the item doesn't get there on time so u paid $68.10 for regular shipping. I got screwed and they said they will file claim at postal and they will refund my payment. So I guess they can take ur money quickly but not really guarantee or even bother helping you settle it correctly. I'm furious because the mail I paid for overnight shipping shipping did not arrive on time and I got screwed and penalized. When I contacted them they said they will fix it and file claim for me but that's no help because it's been over 6 weeks now and they just tell me one thing and ignore it. The address they filed was wrong and I told them immediately thank goodness I requested a copy of receipt file but still have not gotten anything back. So if u are sending important documents and pay overnight shipping ask what happens if it doesn't arrive on time? I checked status on tracking and when I saw that the delivery was a different date from my receipt I called and told them immediately but nothing happened. I got screwed and scammed by this place! The location cannot be beat. This UPS Store is across the street from where I live and has been my go to for Passport photos & mailing options for 9 years, but I won't be going back. I was recently laid off from my job, and I had to return my laptop computer. I had a label and it was packaged so all I had to do was drop it off. I am also high risk for COVID so I was wary about going in but figured it would be safe and only take a minute. I walk in and there were three employees, one not wearing a mask. When she is the one who tries to help me, I backed up. So she saw my hesitation and put on a mask. I give her the box, she scans the label, and as she hands me the receipt, she said "here you go, you little germphobe." I told her that I am high risk, and she looked genuinely apologetic and said, "Oh, I am sorry." I get that many people don't like wearing masks right now. But it's not good customer service to belittle a customer to their face, especially when they have health issues that put them at higher risk of serious disease and death. And please- wear a mask. It's not all about you- your customers need to know they can go in there and be safe. Once you take your mask off, you're breathing out particles so it doesn't matter if you put it back on when someone comes in the store. There's another UPS Store at 24th St & Baseline. I recently went in there and all employees were masked and they even talked about how serious they take it. It's not as convenient as a location, but I'll be going there from now on. read more

Absolutely the worst ups. The Indian girl was very contradicting in what she was trying to explain and charged me $2 for three pieces of tape to tape my box. If you can find a different UPS store I would highly recommend that. I have used this store 3 times of which I had the gold my locks of shipping experiences. 1. $2,000 return of a product was "lost" before pickup by UPS. This was a major hassle trying to get the vendor to not stick me with the list shipment. 2. Tried a simple Amazon return and their email was down. A complete waste of my time. 3. This used to be a good location, but in the past few months, service has declined. I believe they have dishonest staff. Several of my self packed amazon returns disappeared after their register "couldn't give receipts." Neither Amazon nor UPS have any record of the packages. What are the odds of having 4 packages disappear at the same time? Several neighbors have had the same experience. Not only that, staff is rude. Avoid this location for a while, at least until they hire honest staff. read more

Not very impressed with the service and customer service of the reps at the store. I saw on rep be very short with the customer who was trying to make a return. I was also returning items to Amazon I ask if all 3 were scanned in she stated Yeah (very professional) As I walked to my car I noticed on only 2 were scanned in, had to go back in and she stated all were scanned I said lets look at the forms I gave you!!! Sure enough she missed one and didn't apologize or take ownership of her mistake (this was between 1-3PM 1/26/2021). Damn admit you were wrong, made a mistake etc... I hardly come to the ups store so I am unfamiliar with sending packages. When I arrived here I was being help by a girl with blonde hair. I explained to her that I wanted to get my product shipped and she made some uncalled jokes. Once I got the box and my bubble film she left to the back and never returned. However the other worker who was working with her, took her time to help me out. The blond hair girl was very unprofessional and the way she would speak to her worker and customers was unacceptable. On the other hand the other worker was professional and helped out more than one customer at a time. If I ever return here and need to get my things shipped I wouldn't want her to help me at all! read more

Horrible service both times I've been here. Not sure if they aren't fully trained or knowledgeable in their position yet but also customer service was bad. Made me feel like unwelcome and I needed to provide a number that I was not aware of but that I also didn't need to bc of who I was shipping the product to which they provided for me everything I need in one code. All ups had to do was scan and ship. But made it difficult. Decided to go to the other ups down on baseline and 51st ave. Beware! If you use this store to ship a package and then If you file a UPS claim for damage or missing items - plan to wait for any communication or refund. I normally am loyal to my close to home location drop. Its Convenient after work but lately it has not been. Today I decided to go after a visit and drop it off. The UPS Store is one of those places where I'm willing to go and pay a little more money for a service (in this case, packing and shipping items to be mailed) because it's just *that* much more convenient, hassle-free, and streamlined than the cheaper alternative (in this case, the illustrious U.S. Post Office). Sorry, Uncle Sam! Pretty much every year in December, we go to the UPS Store to buy packing materials and ship all of our gifts to relatives and friends who live out of town. Even though Ground is not nearly as cost-effective as USPS' Priority Mail service, the friendliness of the employees, shorter lines, and packing services take a little edge off of the already-stressful holiday season. This location is brand-new and definitely does not disappoint. The employees are really helpful and amiable and parking is a breeze. After visiting my parents in LA last weekend, I accidentally took my mom's extra set of house keys home with me (oops!). Instead of going to the closest post office (on 7th Street), which was nightmarish last time I went on a weekday afternoon, I just drove the few minutes to the UPS store, grabbed a quick-seal envelope, filled out the shipping form, paid, and was on my way 7-8 minutes later. No long lines, no hassle. Just quick and easy shipping. Totally worth the extra $4 I paid for the box and cost difference between Ground and Priority Mail. read more

OMG! Josh and Jon are the best!!!!!! 5 star customer service to go with the 5 star results!!!!! I needed some last minute business cards for an expo and was told that it would take a few business days. The gentleman at the 24th street and baseline location told me to check this one out because they may be able to do it! I called and talked to Josh and he was so nice and accommodating! I told him what I needed and how much I needed and he said he may be able to make it happen! I drove down the street and was greeted by Josh and Jon. We pulled up my logo on the computer and Jon immediately got to work formatting my business card..... They told me that I could print as many as they could accommodate in store and even asked if I wanted double sided (WHAT?!?!?) I told him whatever is easiest I just appreciate the accommodation because Office max told me that they would have to send it out and it would take 5-7 business days (in this situation: ain't nobody got time for that) They even helped me format the business cards and made great recommendations! Love this store. There used to be some younger white guysbworjing there that would be really helpful and friendly. The new staff of a bface woman and a confused younger guy gave taken over. I love the convenience and available services here but the staff needs just a minor attitude adjustment. Tossing a smile here and there to customers would be great. THIS is the best place! After dealing with the laveen store.. they renewed why I like UPS Stores. They have a customer for life.

If your using the computer first minute is $2 and the rest is $.20 a minute I think. So I went in today just to print which is 10 cents a page. I just needed to print though the cashier told me I still have to pay for usage of the computer. I was on the computer for 30 secs and he charged me for a full minute. So basically I paid $2.20 just to print out a page. I only had to print out a page I had my document on a flash drive. I didn't use the internet or edit anything I just inserted my USB waited for it to pop up and opened the document and click print. Still I got charged for using the computer. SMH read more

This location is great! All of the employees are friendly and know what they are doing. I never have to wait long to get my mail or packages processed, which avoids me going to the Post Office waiting in their long lines. The UPS staff let's me know all the shipping and delivery times options. I have been using this location since they opened and all of my mail and packages have been delivered on time as promise. I was supposed to receive a package back in June.My package, which contains an Iphone and a pair of expensive sunglasses, still have not been found. UPS delivered it to the wrong address and has yet to retrieve it or refund me. I've been given the run around and they will not let me speak with a supervisor. They then closed my investigation because "I received my package". I did not receive it, the wrong address received it back in June. It's now July 15th!!! I will never ever use UPS again and my employer is switching to Fed ex after this. AND I still don't have a refund for $15.56. REALLY??? They expect me to pay for something I never received. read more

After attending another UPS Store, I decided to go to this store. I was immediately greeted, and it was a pleasant atmosphere. After asking a few questions, the most important being is there someone who knew had to bind items, which they informed me that they were able to complete this task. Unlike the UPS Store (#5640) in Laveen. The representative, ask a few questions on what I needed complete and informed that it would take a while, but it would be ready in about 30 minutes. I left and returned, but they had questions for me, but I did not leave my number. They took it upon themselves to bind the items but added an extra step of laminating my cover pages, at no extra charge. By the way, the previous store also was charging me $8.00 more dollars to do the same task. The representative, KAREN SALAZAR did a phenomenal job on my project, and I commend her and the other staff members that helped her complete the task. A visit well spent. read more

Having this place close by has saved me a few times when I was experiencing my own technical issues at home. I've never packaged or sent anything through them, but have no reason to think that they would not do that as professionally as they handle other needs. I've gone to them to send and receive faxes, for copying needs and even when I needed something notarized. (Don't take the word of a high school-aged worker if they think they can't help you. You only have to be smarter than the trainee and ask her to double-check that information with another employee.) They have always been able to do what I've needed done. read more
