A worker came to the counter and didn't greet me in the usual UPS style I'm used to. She said basically nothing. It seemed that she was irritated at having to leave her other work to help me, a 70+ year old man. The young woman is black with first name starting with (I think) "K". The first 3 packages were pre-labeled. She scanned them and then TOSSED THEM ON THE GROUND behind her with total disregard for what might be in the boxes. My wife said they were expensive shoes being returned. Then she scanned the next item from my phone, picked up a plastic bag, curled the open bag and tied it in a knot, bending the item's packaging before putting the return label on the wrapped plastic. The fifth item was scanned from my phone and by that time I was so angry at all of this I didn't pay attention to what she did to it. It was then I thought that perhaps she was being passive aggressive to me in that I didn't use the self-service machine. With the 5 return items, I didn't want to deal with the self-serve machine. There was no smile from her, no asking if I wanted a receipt, and no thanking me for coming in today. She just had an irritated scowl most of the time. Later I thought I should have called her on tossing the boxes on the floor, but that might not have helped. Perhaps she was having a bad day, or really doesn't like the job, or really took a quick dislike to me and acted unprofessionally. UPS had better deal with this worker quick before she sullies the reputation of this usually fine store.

She suggested it was easier than taping them on( which I did for the 1st one) no one has ever offered that to me, & I always use this store for sending packages. The Surprise Police Department has hours on Wednesday and Thursday, which I couldn't make due to work hours. I needed to go into Glendale for some errands and stopped by the UPS store near Costco and Trader Joe's at 83rd. The lady behind the counter let me know that they only do digital prints there, but that if I went to the UPS store on 94th and Olive Avenue, they did both paper card fingerprinting and electronic prints. This was very helpful. I drove down to this location and let them know what I needed. I didn't need an appointment or anything else. They took me in at that time and took my fingerprints, no problem. Corressa helped me from start to finish. She filled out a fingerprint affidavit just in case I needed it, she took my prints and directed me on what to do, and then she gave me wet wipes to wash off the ink afterwards. It cost $15.50 to get this completed at UPS. This was so convenient. Thank you!

The gentleman at the 24th street and baseline location told me to check this one out because they may be able to do it! I called and talked to Josh and he was so nice and accommodating! I told him what I needed and how much I needed and he said he may be able to make it happen! I drove down the street and was greeted by Josh and Jon. We pulled up my logo on the computer and Jon immediately got to work formatting my business card..... They told me that I could print as many as they could accommodate in store and even asked if I wanted double sided (WHAT?!?!?) I told him whatever is easiest I just appreciate the accommodation because Office max told me that they would have to send it out and it would take 5-7 business days (in this situation: ain't nobody got time for that) They even helped me format the business cards and made great recommendations! When I walked in to the shop, the CVS employee told me I just missed him by a few mins. I remembered seeing a UPS truck when I pulled into the CVS driveway, so I quickly exited the store to see if I could catch him. John was about ready to pull away but I yelled loudly and obnoxiously as I'm walking towards him (because let's face it, some of us are not really built to run fast). He waited and was able to take my package for me. He said he tracking might not show up right away because he had scanned all the packages that CVS had for him, so he'd have to scan it at the next pick up stop. I was fine with that. As long as he got it in his truck for that day's pick up, I was good. He was patient with me and waited, again, despite my obnoxious yelling in the parking lot. John deserves a raise.
