I have relocated from Cambridge Massachusetts to Keiraville Australia recently and used a company…read morecalled RSS to do the move for me. My move wasn't the so called 'normal' move because I was closing my business in the US, selling 2 homes and moving overseas with my mother's estate. All of this required five 40 foot containers. I was extremely cautious in selecting the company that would finally handle all this for me and literally researched at least 8 different companies. I finally narrowed down my search to 4 companies and had each come out and survey my homes, business and storage facility. Two of the companies I immediately dismissed because the surveyors they sent to my home didn't seem to have an understanding of the process of moving to another country. I suspect that they were just from a local company that handles moves within MA. RSS was the last company to come out. Their head guy Alex came up over the weekend from NY and spent a great deal of time with my wife and I going over every aspect of the packing and loading. We were sold. This guy was super nice and very knowledgeable. Before closing the deal, we wanted to speak with RSS's partner in Australia. Without any hesitation Kate gave us their contact details. We of course called over and spoke with Emma who couldn't speak highly enough about Kate and RSS. We closed the deal with our sales rep, Kate DeLuca. She assured me that Alex and his crew would pack and load everything from the four locations in 2 days. Our moving day was set for 1 month later. Prior to our moving date, Alex came back over to drop off some boxes because my wife wanted to pack some of her personal items herself. Finally our move date was here and Alex and his crew showed up as scheduled at 8:00 am. Kate also came up later in the morning to check up on her 'guys' as she calls them. They packed our 5 bedroom home so quickly and so professionally we were shocked. The first container arrived at about 1 and the second at about 2:30. Both containers were fully packed, inventoried and loaded by 4:30. Our 2nd home, the office and the storage unit were packed and loaded the following morning. We called Kate to let her know that the last container left at around 2 pm. So far, so good. Kate and Michelle kept in touch with us, giving updates, throughout the shipping. Once we arrived in Australia we went to Palmers International to meet with Emma and get all the customs documents in order. We were very impressed with her. She assured us that she would treat this shipment as though it were her own and be available to us whenever we needed her. The containers arrived, cleared customs and went through the quarantine inspection. Everything was in order and completed. Our delivery was set for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 3 containers were coming to our home and 2 to a storage space. Emma was onsite to oversee the deliveries. To sum up, I would highly recommend RSS (Kate, Michelle, Alex) and Palmers International (Emma) to anyone moving abroad. I was expecting there to be some damage but not one thing in any of those 5 containers was damaged during their journey across the pond. Kate wasn't exaggerating, Alex is the best. Thank you for everyone at RSS and Palmers for making this move such a pleasant experience. Merry Christmas and Happy Healthy New Year to you all! Jason Payne

He was definitely showing it off since he had his sleeve other sleeve was down and pulled up all the way and banded to the collar of his tee shirt! How upsetting! I have 2 small elementary school children and when I saw that I felt sick! What kind of person gets a tattoo like that and then makes sure every customer who comes into that store sees it, especially after yesterday's tragic shooting! It's sick! Is he OK with children being shot to death while praying in a church? Not to mention he was smiling the whole time and kept moving so his tattoo was facing me. I couldn't even look at him, I was so distracted by that sickening, deranged tattoo! Maybe UPS should take a better look at who is working at their stores! I got a notification at noon that the packages were delivered, and went there after work to pick them up. Guy there tells me the packages were returned to sender as they don't have a contract with the seller. I had no idea what this meant, but when I asked I got treated to a nice little rant about how they don't have space & don't work for free (I did pay for UPS and wrongly thought that meant they could hold the package for me, my mistake). Then he told me to go talk to corporate. No phone numbers, no info on where the packages might be going next, no mention of potentially intercepting them or getting the sender to intercept. Nothing. Just a sharp rant before walking away. Keep in mind the tracking at this point still said "delivered," not "returned to sender" or anything like that, so I'd had no idea that they'd refused delivery for half a day. I know it wasn't me because I think I said about 9 words and they were "why would they list you as an access point." Which, honestly, I was mostly asking myself as I didn't think the random guy would have an answer to that. But he answered it anyway, and while I can take being told I should've known better (I'm still a little confused, but I can take it), what I take issue with is the lack of any sort of assistance with contact numbers, tracking, or even just general information on how the process might work. Guy literally just yelled about it and left. The guys at the UPS customer center on Ruthar were way more helpful. By the time I got to them (the UPS Store support number was also terribly unhelpful & slow, but told me to talk to the customer center), the packages were on a train going back to the seller. But these guys gave me actual information on destination, timelines, and even guidance on how to get things held at their depot if I needed it (I don't, but it was nice of them to offer up the info). They're different from UPS stores, which I think are franchises, and it shows. I wish the retailer had given an option to deliver there instead of the store, & I've asked the retailer to look at updating their information if they can. Don't use this store if you can help it, they're probably fine if you have no issues or are just printing or whatever, but I can't recommend their customer experience for anything beyond that. The customer center on Ruthar isn't far away, I would say check them out instead and see if they offer what you need.

Going to postnet saves me from driving all over town shipping and making returns. The printing is quick and quality work. They are always helpful in answering my vague questions and making sure the product is what I am looking for. Honestly, people, get yourselves to postnet! Save yourself from the black hole of humanity that can be the post office some days, or the incredibly long lines at the UPS Store in these times of staggering numbers of pandemic returns. Jason and the people at Postnet will take care of you!

The website sent me a prepaid label for free return shipping with UPS. The box was too large to stick in the UPS drop boxes so I got on the website and found this awful place as an authorized drop spot. The man working (the owner?) was so rude and nasty. He lectured me about stealing money from him by using a prepaid label. Said I was driving him out of business. So I was supposed to throw out my free shipping and pay him to ship it for me?! I don't get it. If UPS isn't reimbursing you to be a drop off maybe reconsider the choice to offer that service. And no offense but if there wasn't free shipping I would have gone to the post office, not some over priced shady shipping business in a terrible strip mall where the homeless congregate. No idea why I needed a lecture about his failing business for using a prepaid label sent from the recipient. He gave me this flyer and threw my box in the back. (See attached photo). Tip to the owner: maybe consider changing your services to align with a changing online marketplace. And when you do get a customer don't be so nasty. I couldn't wait to get out of there and I certainly won't take any of my other shipping business there. As I was waiting I took notice of some of your shipping supply costs and printing for large photos and was considering a large project for later this year for my business but ill never be back.
