Terrible customer service. Terrible value. Not worth the time or effort. If you need to use UPS, find a different location.

Wow I was a very nervous person first time sending something via UPS the girl there was so helpful she helped with everything and including boxing everything for me. I was very happy with customer service and the girl was there all by herself she had other customers besides me. She executed everything with a huge smile and with politeness. I loved the fact that she put fragile on all the box and my package was delivered with care and no damages. read more

This was the first time I had to walk out of a store trying to send a piece of mail. Very rude customer service! I had a baby carrier with me with just one person ahead of me already being helped. Have some self respect! I moved my baby out of the way so more people could fill in the space. The girl at the counter refused to help me after figuring out I needed to print a label each time after several customers. So annoying! read more

I come here pretty frequently for returning items and shipping. The employees are always really kind, I always find parking, and one time my daughter was a little antsy and they gave her a lollipop so that is an almost automatic five star in my book. Everyone is very helpful, lots of shipping supplies and help with all kinds of questions. read more

Ran in for a fax for work my 3 year old son was looking at the cards while I was filling out the paperwork. Was questioned if I was buying a card .....and stated no. The Indian guy proceeded to ask my 3 year old to put the card back. Horrible service will never be back or recommend any of my federal employees to use this location. read more

New ownership has done this place well! Having moved here recently I remember being shocked at how poorly this place was rated before. I had only been one other time before today and when I walked in I could immediately tell something was different. First things first - the place smelled great and was SO clean! You can tell the new owners care about the presentation and cleanliness of their stores! Not only was the store great, but the staff was extremely friendly! Pamela, the owner, was so nice and even reimbursed me for something I had over payed for. All in all - my second experience made up for my first and I will definitely be back to frequent this location! read more

Walked in, the older guy behind the counter had a loosely fitted mask on under his nose. He asked if he could help me I told him "No. I am leaving because you are wearing your mask under your nose". This ironic because they have a giant sign about mask at eye-level on the door. read more

The BEST UPS store in Naperville'. Grace was super friendly and made it very easy to do a UpS pack and ship to my son in college. Michelle was also super friendly and helpful in getting a banner made for our PTSA for the Senior class car parade. I will definitely be back!!!!! read more

GO ELSEWHERE. I've used other UPS Stores in the past without many issues. For the most part everyone is usually friendly and very helpful. However, I stopped in this location to drop off a package and get receipt. I asked about getting some extra tape on my box to make sure it was properly sealed. The worker told me "Sure it will be 50 cents". I've never been charged at a UPS Store for 1/2 a piece of tape! I told him no thank you and proceeded to leave with my package in my hand. He just said "ok" and disappeared back to the back of the store, out of sight. Plus, the store was dimly lit, dirty and disorganized. I'll never be back to this location for any of my shipping needs and I suggest you stay away as well. read more

I was surprised the first couple of times I came here, clean overall with little to no wait times. The staff do an efficient job overall getting people in and out and don't haggle with any thing. Overall one of the better UPS locations in the area. read more

This is the worst customer service ever I have got and all the reviews of the owner being rude is true as I experienced myself. He denied to give a drop if receipt. He was saying how much or no compensation he gets for such drop offs and that is the reason he does not want to print a receipt. It is his problem to find ways to save in his business model rather saying he will not print a receipt which is the one which gives me guarantee/ proof of me dropping a package. The store clerk refused to ship a properly labeled box containing ammunition today. He said that he does not have a license and I need to go to the UPS customer counter location in Westmont. I went the the UPS store at Washington and Ogden in Naperville and shipped the package. I know for a fact that UPS Store locations are supposed to ship properly labeled packages containing ammo. I previously shipped ammo at Route 59 and 95th Street location in Naperville as well as Route 59 at 135th Street location in Plainfield with no issues. read more

If you see in the previous post, I rated the UPS Store that I visited in the city of Chicago as a zero. But I just recently visited the Naperville location off of 75th and the customer service was outstanding. Luckily this UPS Store was a lot closer to my home and I had the same issue had a box with no tape on it, before I even said anything the girl offered to pack it up for me. Her demeanor was so pleasant that I even thought about recruiting her to work for my company but it look like her boss was sitting at the desk. Very happy with my service read more

I have been a loyal business customer here for over 8 years. The owner knows our family as my youngest daughter worked there part time for 2 years. My oldest daughter, 23, is moving to Seattle and went there to ship a very special painting she had done from an old building's window pane, it was the skyline of Chicago as a memento to remember chicago. Shawn, the owner packed it for her, it was over 186.00 to ship. She purchased the insurance. He didn't pack it correctly and when her roomate opened it it was destroyed it is an apartment and there is a dog. Pictures were taken with dates but since it was in chards of glass it was thrown out. UPS and Shawn will not cover the shipping cost let alone the cost of the painting. She is very upset. The fact that the owner knows us and knows this is not a scam is simply unacceptable. I will tell my 2 neighbors who use this store for their business and ask them to go elsewhere. Beware of using UPS store when you want to ship or mail through the USPS. The UPS store charges a surcharge on postage but don't tell you. When they weigh your package or letter and quote the postage, what they aren't telling you is that you are paying a surcharge to mail through them. So, my letter weighing 3 oz cost $4.25. When this sounded high, I researched the cost and found that had I mailed it directly from a USPS location, it would have cost me $2. So I called the UPS store and asked whether they charge more than the actual postage and they said 'yes' for the convenience. I don't mind paying more but I wish the UPS store was more transparent with their pricing model. Next time, I will drive to the post office and mail it from there. read more

I brought a box to be delivered with "fragile" stickers affixed in three places. I was greeted by the same unfriendly owner who made no eye contact, weighed and scanned the parcel and proceeded to toss it on the floor. Ouch. This is not the first time that I was treated rudely, but it is the last time that i will ever set foot in that business. read more

The owner of this place Michael is rude as well as incompetent. I went to pick up a package that I had paid 7 dollars to have it shipped to that specific location. I had just moved to the area to begin medical school and my apartment lease is in my fathers name that lives in NY. I advised him of this and he refused to release my package. I even showed him a bill with my name on it, as well as the same mailing address as the package, and he would not release it. I even showed him a copy of my apartment lease to prove I indeed live at the address on the label and he still would not release the package. I called corporate and spoke with a supervisor, who advised him over speaker phone clearly to release the package to me and he stated no we will not. He then refused my package and sent it back to the shipper. He then made up a lie to the corporate supervisor and told her that he had already put my package on a truck to go back to the shipper meanwhile the package was staring me right in the face on the counter. There was a few people behind me who even made comments saying that he is being ridiculous. This guy needs to be put out of business. He is a jerk, and he gets an attitude and acts like a child if anyone challenges anything he says. Terrible terrible customer service read more

Had to send important papers to the military. They don't understand address for any military bases. Useless. They sent my envelope back and never called to tell me it came in. Because they couldn't figure it out they won't give me a refund when I did first class shipping. People are useless, not intelligent, minimal work, lazy, and inconsiderate. If I could give this owner a zero star, that's what this idiot would get. First and last time I ever use this store. I had a package shipped and it was held for which I was charged $5. I was even there before the package was because I thought the packages were at the store when they opened. He acted like I was a bonehead for thinking that. He never mentioned there was a charge and actually I don't think UPS even makes that known. Since I didn't know they would charge for holding a package and asked about the charge when I picked it up at lunch. From the very beginning his attitude was horrible and it got worse. He swore at me and threatened to not give me my package! Totally unacceptable to treat people this way. I went here to simply ship my books back to chegg. I had three smaller boxes from chegg when they shipped the books to me, but I thought it would be easiest to ship them all together. I called ahead to ask if they had free boxes that I could use. The manager said yes they did. Upon walking in 15 minutes later, they said that they were sorry and do not give out free boxes. It is understandable that they would cost something, but when the manager himself stated previously about giving me a free box, it is awful customer service to then change your mind. He wanted to charge me over $5 for a box that probably costs him 10 cents. When I was leaving the store, he continued his shitty service with asking me, "Do you even have an education?" which is an idiotic question and insulted me more as I was leaving. The manager is a rude, quick-tempered asshole. I am definitely never coming back. There is another UPS store at market meadows by Dominick's that treats their customers with respect. It is worth the extra three minute drive to get someone who is not disrespectful and spiteful. read more
