I filed a claim immediately and provided documentation from FedEx in Mobile, AL, where ongoing theft issues are known. Despite this, Neiman Marcus has refused to refund or replace my item and has questioned my integrity. I truly believe if I were a White customer, this would have been handled differently. Instead, as an African-American woman, I've been treated like a thief. This item was meant as an appreciation gift for someone who has stood by me during a very difficult time and he never received it. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and an attorney based on principle and the emotional stress this has caused.
