I received a…read morepackage that was supposed to contain Baccarat cologne, but the box had been opened and the item was missing. What I received was an empty package. I filed a claim immediately and provided documentation from FedEx in Mobile, AL, where ongoing theft issues are known. Despite this, Neiman Marcus has refused to refund or replace my item and has questioned my integrity. I truly believe if I were a White customer, this would have been handled differently. Instead, as an African-American woman, I've been treated like a thief. This item was meant as an appreciation gift for someone who has stood by me during a very difficult time and he never received it. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and an attorney based on principle and the emotional stress this has caused. Please protect yourselves: if you order high-end items, always require a signature.

I follow the instructions to the letter, re-box when needed and print the QR code for them to scan because often times I am not the one returning the item physically. IT NEVER FAILS, every (and I mean every) time we go to this particular branch, it's the same story. The owner, clerk or package handler, or whatever her title may be is EXTREMELY RUDE and seemingly finds fault with everything. She once talked my husband (returning the package) into purchasing a box we didn't need. It's just outrageous the things people will pull to catch a buck, and this one is a class act (sarcasm.)
