This UPS store is charging clients exuberant prices taking advantage of the season. The manager acts as this was his local cafeteria where he can just charge for everything and increase prices. I don't know UPS business model or maybe this is a franchise, but I am sure it has to be aligned with UPS values and promise to the clients otherwise is affecting UPS reputation, and one thing is to increase your store revenues and another one is affecting client services to do so. This store and his unprofessional way to manage costs and customer services is affecting UPS reputation. This is not an isolated case, it happens often and it is time to report it and do something about it. read more

Worst costumer service experience. I believe a person is entitled to not know and ask how to get a label and they could go the extra mile to be nice and not tell you that you are basically stupid for not knowing and even more if it's a label from Amazon. If I could give this place zero stars I would. They sent my Amazon return to Bloomingdales and my Bloomingdales return to Amazon. Bloomingdales returned the item to me, but now Amazon can't find what was sent to them. I lost $220 dollars here. I spoke to a lady named Nadia Weiss who said she was the manager and owner. She refused to help. Said there's nothing she can do. When I asked her to look at the cameras so she would see they misplaced the labels, she said her footage erases after 7 days. She said I came with the label taped to the box, and I did, but they removed it to place it in a clear package and that's when they missplaced it. I went to UPS only because the post office didn't have the right size box for my item. When I walked into this place the girl at the front desk asked me what I was looking for, I explained about the box and then she told me to wait. I waited for 10 minutes while she filled out paperwork or something. Who knows what she was doing. When she eventually came to help me again, I already knew which box I wanted. She asked if I wanted it packaged or if I wanted to do it myself. I opted for the latter. Just a matter of preference. I was packaging a gift and I wanted to do it myself. So she goes ahead and sells me the box, the bubble wrap and a roll of tape (because God forbid they let a customer use two strips of tape) and then she proceeds to tell me that I can't pack it IN the store. That I have to do it outside. I wasn't gonna walk all the way back to my car, which was across the shopping plaza, with all these shipping materials. So I had to kneel outside the store in the heat while I packed my item. They didn't even give me scissors. I had to cut strips of tape with my keys. Even the US post office has free tape, seriously. When I finally finished and I went back in to finish my order and she was ringing me up, she stopped again to help some other customer. She also allowed him to leave his airport baggage in the store, while he went to get some food. I couldn't even pack my tiny box in there but this guy had been there for 30 minutes packing and unpacking suitcases and small boxes. Are you kidding me? Then to add insult to injury, there were two supposed attempts to deliver the package, even though the recipient was home during both. So I called UPS to see what was going on. They ended up not delivering it because her name wasn't in the directory of the apartment building supposedly. They probably would have failed to mention that had I not called, but that was their reason. So the wonderful people at UPS customer service had the recipient meet the UPS driver, who was still a few blocks away, to pick up her package. Yep, that happened. She had to go meet the driver, who was just sitting in his truck a few blocks away, and then carry her package home. I can safely say that I will never use UPS again. There are way too many other alternatives to be dealing with this crappy customer service. read more

I wish I can give no Stars if Yelp had the option to give it. So first of, this store is so rude and unprofessional. The Manager Alexia Krusman was very rude and comes across as if she is knows everything. I had shipped my TV from this store to NY and it had got damage, I had opened a claim and she had denied my claim after I told her UPS never came to pick up my TV to investigate it. I then was very upset and call over 2 Weeks to try to resolve the issue she hung up On and the other person who is male and very rude and disrespectful hung on me too and I called back 12 times and no reply- UNPROFESSIONAL TO THE MAX! STAY AWAY THIS UPS STORE AND UPS IN GENERAL, 3 weeks later I am still trying to get my money back since it cost 190.80 to ship and my TV replaced and what the customer service had told me was that I have to deal with the store directly which is crazy because they won't re-open my claim and the manger stated I Don't have all day to argue with me yet she didn't even let me talk so customers be aware!!! Whenever I come to this Store they charge me for additional items that they don't charge at other ups and usps stores. And when you mention it, they give you an attitude and bark at you. I wish a better ups franchise set up shop here to not have to deal with the nastiness and theft of these people. UPS Store #3177, located at 5727 NW 7th Street, Miami is a place you want to AVOID if you have any interest IN having your parcel packed and shipped and actually making it to your desired destination IN ONE PIECE. Blind monkeys could do a better job then these fools at this UPS Store. Sold a typewriter on eBay and had this store pack and ship to the buyer. They used the wrong size box, didn't pack it even close to avoiding damage and it arrived in pieces ready for the garbage. UPS should do a better job when selling these UPS Store franchises and make sure the owner is even capable of running a business which this owner apparently IS NOT!!! No way, will never do business here again. The CUSTOMER SERVICE aspect of doing basic business is missing from this place. It's a private location and they don't have full access to UPS info, how can you not look up a tracking number in your own system? Wtf! Always a fee for every little thing. Wish I could give zero stars. So bad, so disappointing. Brought my package & my packaging materials inside the store to wrap up. The kid behind the counter told me the actual wrapping of package (wrapping in brown paper & tapping it up) had to be done outside the store. He did offer to do it for me for $8.50. The kid was kind of a jerk too. Believe it or not I came back the next day with my package all boxed up and ready to go. The girl at the counter said she was not able to give me any kind of receipt for dropping it off. She said if I wanted a receipt I could go to another UPS that offer them. Are you freaking kidding me? No receipt for package acceptance? Horrible store...Horrible..... read more
