I am arranging for transport of a motorcycle from CT. to WI. Submitted the web quote request from LUX first, but I wanted to get some other bids. Other companies were difficult to even get a quote from. I was referred by the bike seller to HAUL BIKES, so i really wanted to get a quote and use them. They had people answering the phone that were difficult and acted like they were superior in their phone interactions. I had a bad feeling about HAUL BIKES, so I looked the up on the BETTTER BUSINESS BUREAU. I was surprised to see that HAUL BIKES had a ONE STAR RATING with so many customer horror stories I was thankful that I had investigated. Then I looked up SHIPLUX on BBB, and it has an A rating. After reading some of the horror stories about other shippers, I decided on SHIPLUX. I may not be the smartest man in the world, but I am not a dummy either. BTW: The other bids were either the same price or higher. Price is important, but avoiding stress from shipping my new baby is a BIG DEAL. I placed an order on 3/22/2026 with Jordan Zinger at ShipLux for my 2 vehicles to be picked up at Park Smart at The Fort Myers Airport on 3/28/2026 and deliver them to Southern Indiana. As seen in the images they sent a flat bed trailer to try to load a Pacifica Van, resulting in over $10,000 in damages to the running board and under carriage. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We used Shiplux to arrange for shipping of our truck from Alaska to Utah. The agent we worked with (Michael Anthony) was johnny on the spot when it came to giving us an estimate and booking us. However, as soon as we made that first deposit getting him to respond to us when we had questions or concerns was impossible. When he did respond it was usually completely unhelpful. We had our truck scheduled to be dropped off with Alaska Auto Transport (who were fantastic btw) on September 2nd. We confirmed this multiple times with Michael (in writing) that we were all set to drop off on this date, no problems. When we realized that day was actually Labor Day we panicked. Thinking there would be a drop off situation we went a day early (on a Sunday) to check out the place we were bringing the truck. Turns out there was no way to just drop the truck off for shipping. The universe must have been looking out for us because thankfully someone happened to be there and they were able to help us (no thanks to Michael). When the truck made it to port we got a call from Alaska Auto Transport letting us know the truck was there. We reached out to Michael and he said he would reach out to the port and let us know what was happening in two days. We never heard from him. We honestly had no idea what was going on with getting it to Utah at that point. We had to leave shortly after for another trip and next thing we know we get a call from a truck shipping company that the truck will be delivered the next day. That company wanted cash on delivery which we hadn't been prepared for since Michael never told us what was going on. We didn't have cash at the house for our house sitter to give them. Eventually we did figure it out and got the truck delivered. We feel lucky that we got the truck back. Then tried to bill me for the associated costs he was responsible for. He charged an additional, unauthorized $500 to my credit card and asked me to pay the driver in cash $500 less than what my contract stated. When confronted with the additional charges the driver was asking me to cover, his response was that it was between me and the driver. As far as I'm concerned, Noah Clark is willing to sell ShipLux's reputation and integrity for a little over $1,000. I booked a transport for an RV through shiplux and was told I would get a confirmation once a driver was selected. After almost a week from initial quote , I never got a confirmation. as the days ticked on and due to a set timeline we needed to select another company for transport. When attempting to cancel our transport order we have been getting the run around and suddenly no one can answer the phone. Have left voice mails, texts and emails but still have not been able to verify the order has been cancelled. Very nervous that they will attempt to charge our card even though the order has been cancelled before driver was confirmed. Terrible Experience with Shiplux - Stay Away! I had an awful experience with Sheldon Ames @ Shiplux, and I would not recommend them to anyone. I paid for an enclosed trailer to ship a 1968 Charger and a 4x4 pallet with an engine block on it from Pennsylvania to Chicago. After taking my deposit, they showed up with a trailer that couldn't even fit my pallet. Sheldon Ames assured me that they would send another truck the following Saturday or Monday to pick it up, and I agreed to extra charges for sending an additional pallet with the original. The problems didn't stop there. The car arrived a day later, and the roof of the trailer was torn off--leaving snow and debris all over my car. When I tried calling Sheldon, it went straight to voicemail, and I received no callback. They then held my car hostage on the trailer and refused to release it until I paid the remainder of the balance. After finally reaching Sheldon two hours later, he suggested I get the car detailed and that they would bill the shipper for the damage. I ended up receiving only a $200 refund, despite already paying $795 for a professional paint buff, wax, and correction from the seller prior to shipping. If I had wanted my car exposed to the elements, I would have gone with an open trailer for half the price. It's now a week later, and I still have no pallet. Sheldon has completely ignored my calls since then. They've got their money and don't care about providing any kind of service after that. I booked a car shipment with Shiplux weeks ago and they gave me two dates when they would pick up my car. They didn't call to let me know when they were coming and when I called on the day they were supposed to arrive, they said they were working on getting a truck to pick up my car. I got the same message the next day and after several calls on my part, they never answered and never picked up my car. I had to scramble to get another auto transport company to ship my car. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! Our family paid "Shiplux" to ship a vehicle from New York to California. The vehicle did not arrive on time. Shiplux representatives were non-responsive and/or disrespectful and argumentative. Finally, after contacting the New York Police Department to file a Stolen Vehicle Report- Shiplux "found" the vehicle and had it delivered. They also illegally record calls (a felony crime) in California. Horrible! Our research indicates that Shiplux is not a shipping company, rather is a just a small group of rude guys who bid out to have your car shipped with a private trucker. After they take your money, they wash their hands of the deal and you are left waiting for an unknown trucker to call - which in our case was a long time. Worse, they don't provide adequate insurance coverage to cover your high value car. Now the owner is blowing up our phones demanding we remove the yelp review. Go figure. We booked the move with payment terms of within 5 business days of receiving our invoice and supporting documentation. We have not received payment and have followed up countless times. The pick up was great and the delivery arrived on time. So that part of great. I paid the deposit via AMEX so that was totally fine. When the car arrived the driver said I had to pay him directly. I am in the logistics business and the company managing the shipment invoices the fee and then pays the 3rd party transportation company. I texted, called, and emailed the agent several times and then called Shiplux's dispatch. No one answered after several tries. Then someone called me back about an hour later. When I explained the issue, his response was "it is in the paperwork." Then either the dispatcher or agent texted me: "You did not read what you signed, but I gave you a stupid answer? This company is money grubbing dog shit. I called to get a quote to ship a car and was quoted a $500 difference between a Monday and a Tuesday pickup. I politely told them I was going to keep looking at options. I found another company to ship my car at a much more reasonable price, and they told me that shiplux had listed my car for shipment anyway into the central dispatch app that truck drivers use to source their jobs - and well under the price that they quoted me. They basically gave themselves a $1300 brokers fee. I called and asked them to remove my listing because I was working with another broker, and instead of removing the listing, they changed the price offered to the driver to $100 more than my agent's offer. Essentially in an effort to strong arm me into having to use them / making my actual brokers listing look less appealing on the marketplace. Absolutely shady. Absolutely rude. Absolute dog shit. I bought a classic vehicle from "Hot Antique Garage" located at 855 Boulevard de Laurentides, St. Jerome, Quebec Canada J7Z 4M9 on 02/28/2025. I needed to ship the car to me in California so I paid Shiplux LLC $4,600 to pick my car up, get in through customs and cross over the border from Canada to USA and finally to ship it to my home in California. Shiplux made several promises with delivery dates but did not keep those delivery dates or border crossing dates. They told me my car was across the border and in Buffalo, NY, stored at Browns Auto Storage, when it was not there. I called Brown Auto Storage in Buffalo, NY to confirm it but they said they did not have my car. I have been working with Noah Clark at Shiplux. He is the North America Transportation & Customs Specialist at Shiplux. He indicated in an email that my vehicle was "scheduled to cross the border on March 31st and then be shipped to me April 5th - 9th". Those dates went past with no performance. When questioned why this did not happen, he claimed they were, "delayed due to back-to-back changes in import guidelines by the US government". On April 24, 2025 he said my car was now in Toronto Canada, but did not indicate where. So, then Noah admitted my car never did cross the border and was not yet scheduled to be shipped to me. He referred me to his boss and CEO of Shiplux LLC named Jordan Zinger. Noah's phone number is 305-680-0695 and Jordan's is 305-709-2185 the toll-free number is 888-904-9666. My vehicle was originally supposed to be picked up on Monday, then it was pushed to Wednesday, I was promised it would be delivered to SWFL on Friday. I found Shiplux on a Driver Load Board called Super Dispatch. My company contracted to transport vehicles for Shiplux. We were advised that it was a COD load through email. We picked up 2 trucks and Delivered them to a customer in Houston TX. When my drivers delivered the vehicles they were advised by the customer that we were supposed to recieve a Wire Transfer Not COD. I called the Broker (Shiplux) for advisement. I was told that they, (Shiplux), would do an ACH payment for the $3690 owed. I have called and emailed Shiplux regarding this payment and kept being told it would be paid "Tomorow", which "Tomorrow", apparently never comes. Now, there is No account for them on the Super Dispatch website, because they Deleted their account. This was 3 weeks ago. Carriers BEWARE, apparently Shiplux Does Not Pay. read more

Shiplux LLC failed on the following: (1) Return repetitive e-mails for payment. (2) Submit payment for a completed delivery, with 2 separate entities, including the owner of the delivery load, to prove the delivery was completed. Photos, and documentation was provided repeatedly via email to their dispatch dept and main office listed in the Cox Automotive Central Dispatch platform. No answer was ever received, and an explanation of non payment was never sent to our office. Beware when delivering for a 3rd party, as it seems they use this as a loophole to not honor a completed Bill of Lading (BOL). If ever to use them, as our company will never do, it should be COD, they cannot be trusted for any type of delayed payment. read more
