I don't even know where to start. After hours of digging through Google, Reddit threads, Yelp…read morereviews... you name it, I was genuinely overwhelmed trying to find the right company to ship my (new to me) classic car (1967 Mustang). It feels like every transport company has either horror stories of the car falling off the trailer and the driver didn't have insurance, car was taken to the Mexican boarder and never seen again, or obviously fake reviews. I eventually landed on Zip Auto Ship for two big reasons. First, the sheer number of legit 5-star reviews. Not AI-written nonsense, no bots, actual people with real experiences. I honestly didn't believe it at first. Second, I called and spoke with Josh, and that conversation alone pretty much sealed it. He didn't give me the usual sales pitch. He walked me through how the process works, why prep and proper insurance coverage matter, and how carefully he vets the carriers he works with. It was clear he actually cares about doing things the right way, and that immediately put me at ease. For context, I got five quotes total: two from friends' recommendations, two local companies, and then Josh at ZipAutoShip. Not only did Josh have the best reviews and the most transparent communication, but his quote was the best price by a noticeable margin. About 10% cheaper than everything else I looked at. And again... zero pressure. No pushing, no guilt-tripping, just straight answers and a fair number. From there, he made the whole thing ridiculously easy. He took my info, contacted the current owner on my behalf, coordinated everything with the carrier, and lined up the pick-up and delivery without me having to babysit the process. The car showed up at my door in Little Rock four business days after my first call with him. Smooth, simple, exactly what you hope for when shipping a vehicle but rarely get. And honestly, one of the things I appreciated most: he didn't spam me afterward. No "hey can you leave a review?" messages, no follow-up hustle. Just a job well done and letting the work speak for itself. That actually says a lot about the kind of business he runs. If I ever have to ship a car again, there's absolutely no question I'm calling Josh. Save yourself the headache and just go with Zip Auto Ship.

I originally hired another company to move my car up to NY. After they completely dropped the ball…read moreon any of their promises, I reached out to Josh. He was very sympathetic to my problem and got right into finding a solution. Within one day, he sourced another carrier, gave me a promised pick up date and supplied the carrier's proof of insurance to ease my mind that my car would be covered if damaged. Josh is an all-star who takes great pride in is work in an industry that is filled with less-than honorable people. It's one thing to make a promise, it's another if they can actually deliver on the promise - that's where this company excels!!!

ACD Auto Transportation has been caught Double brokering loads which is illegal and a deceptive…read morepractice in the freight industry where a broker or carrier secretly reassigns a load to another carrier without the original shipper's consent, creating unauthorized intermediaries, increasing costs, risking shipment visibility, and often leading to non-payment for the actual hauler. Unfortunately for this scammer the shipper has been working with me for several years and we have a process to filter out these types of scums. This scammer found my load on super dispatch and posted on several face book transport groups attempting to find a driver. Unfortunately for him I am active on face book as well and identified it immediately. I sent him a message and email asking about the load curious to see his reaction. He still claimed it was his load unknowing that the customer has worked with me for several years. It is imperative that everyone knows this guys is not trustworthy. Below are the following: There are 11 total screenshots shared 1. ACD posting my load on Facebook 2. Me asking about it 3. Me sending him an email asking about the load 4. I attached the release form that was required to release to the driver 5. email between me and the carrier that towed the unit for us 6. email sent to the shipper for carrier payment on delivery I would not take the time to post all of this if it was not true. This scammer (broker) does not deserve to be on YELP. If you need anything else feel free to contact me.

Where should I start? I was looking to ship one of my vehicles from MI to FL and I picked up this…read morecompany which quoted me $800 for this service. It wasn't the lowest or the highest price from the more than 20 quotes I received. I paid them $150 upfront with the balance left to be paid to the driver after the vehicle would be delivered at destination. I called them a week in advance asking if they have a driver assigned to me and they said I don't have anything to worry about, somebody will contact me at least 72 hrs to schedule the pickup. I called them again (Steven Burke) 5 days before the delivery date and he said they couldn't find a driver for the contracted price but they may look for someone who's in the area for a different (obviously higher) price. 30 mins later I got a call from a driver who was in my area and was asking $150 more for the job. Being time constrained I said OK, and my vehicle got picked Monday afternoon for a Friday afternoon delivery to Florida. So, basically I was another victim of the old "bait and switch" tactic known for ages ... Now the good and again the bad parts of this story. The good first ... the driver was very professional and kept the communication open all over his trip down to FL and I tipped him accordingly after getting my vehicle. The bad now ... the driver was operating rented equipment which wasn't properly maintained, talking here about the Chevy Silverado which had bald tires all around, causing him to have a flat someplace in W Virginia and a broken accessories drive belt due to the broken bearing on the belt tensioner. Obviously my vehicle arrived 24 hrs later than scheduled after all of these incidents. You draw up your own conclusion if you're looking to deal or not with a company like this.

There is something wrong with the back axle now and I have to take it in. Would NOT recommend. Also this service was 150-300$ more expensive than other quotes but I thought more expensive = better service. I was wrong.
