They never claimed at the time I contacted them that I had not requested full coverage. I regularly purchase items at auction and always purchase full coverage for my cost of the items. Many, many weeks went by without a word from UPS or Pakmail Miami and I contacted Maria and Ricardo again to inform that no one from UPS had contacted me (entirely on my own initiative I had sent a complete photographic record of the damages) They emailed me claiming FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME that I had only been covered by insurance for the minimum amount of $100, claiming falsely that I had wanted to save money on insurance and also that too much time had passed and UPS would not consider any claim. ***I NEVER RECEIVED ANY COMPENSATION THAT I WAS ENTITLED TO AS A RESULT OF WHAT I CONSIDER BLANTANT NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF PAKMAIL MIAMI. ***IT IS ALSO MY OPINION, if that isn't clear, THAT THE OWNERS OF PAKMAIL MIAMI ARE UNTRUSTWORTHY! ***All supporting emails are available for review.

He ran the prices for me on all the different carriers (UPS, FedEx and DHL) and ultimately advised to go with DHL since it was the cheapest. I then gave him a bigger package to get to London and he insisted I contact FedEx directly and try to ship it back as a "rejected package," otherwise, he noted, "it'll cost $160 to ship regularly from here." I really appreciated his honesty and the fact that he wasn't trying to up-sell me. Next time I'm looking to ship, Postal Plus will be my go to stop. They also offer PO Boxes, faxing, and boxes (for moving!).

Every other mailbox i have or have had gives a 30 day grace period. Additionally, they have a GIANT banner stating "We'll match any competitors price guaranteed". So I asked about purchasing a box, they said it was $5 (excessive) and I showed a competitors price which was half of theirs and they said oh no we're not going to match that our quality is better. So I said ok what makes it better? She said it's double walled, so I showed her the description of the competitor and sure enough it was the same exact box. She then said ok well we're not going to match that. Search TM Packaging (or any other packaging company) if you're in Miami if you want better prices. This store has a 100%+ markup on competitors. Ridiculous. I will be removing my mailbox after the end of the month.

I was helped by Anielke when I came in to pick up 200 cardboard boxes in varying sizes (as small as 6"x6"x6" to 14"x14"x8", and tons of others listed on their websites). Their website is accurate, which made it so easy to print out the shopping cart of items I needed and hand over the list. I didn't even need to purchase in bundles, they allowed to me to purchased the exact numbers I needed! They allowed me to back my U-Haul into the loading zone, and their staff pulled every item for me in under 15 minutes. I just kind of sat back and enjoyed the break. Note, there is a minimum $50 spend here, and your GPS will definitely take you the wrong way to get here, as it's located on a one-way street. Learn from my mistake, turn right onto NW 16th St before Totalpack, and take an immediate left at the stop sign onto a street without signs. It'll be right there on your right.

Other companies were difficult to even get a quote from. I was referred by the bike seller to HAUL BIKES, so i really wanted to get a quote and use them. They had people answering the phone that were difficult and acted like they were superior in their phone interactions. I had a bad feeling about HAUL BIKES, so I looked the up on the BETTTER BUSINESS BUREAU. I was surprised to see that HAUL BIKES had a ONE STAR RATING with so many customer horror stories I was thankful that I had investigated. Then I looked up SHIPLUX on BBB, and it has an A rating. After reading some of the horror stories about other shippers, I decided on SHIPLUX. I may not be the smartest man in the world, but I am not a dummy either. BTW: The other bids were either the same price or higher. Price is important, but avoiding stress from shipping my new baby is a BIG DEAL. Marcos with SHIPLUX has been patient, competent, helpful, friendly, and humble. Huge contrast to HAULBIKES who were totally incompetent, even at providing a quote! This secondary company refused to provide standard safety credentials, including the driver's contact information and proof of insurance. Furthermore, the subcontractor's communication was highly unprofessional; they falsely claimed to be outside our location, forcing me to FaceTime them to prove the area was empty.When I reached out to ShipLux regarding these major safety and communication issues, my previous calls and texts were ignored. It was only when I stated I would not release my vehicles to an unverified third party that a representative, Sheldon, finally contacted me. Instead of resolving the issue, he dismissed our valid safety concerns as "he said, she said" drama and claimed we were making the process too difficult.ShipLux is quick to secure quotes and collect deposits, but they completely fail when it comes to contractor vetting, communication, and basic customer service. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your transport needs.

My original shipment used a much smaller box, was bubble-wrapped, marked fragile, and arrived safely. Manager Alex kept calling my 34-inch computer monitor a "TV" and claimed their oversized box was the only option. I even offered to bring my original box, but he refused to pack it and said without the fee they wouldn't bubble-wrap my items and would "for sure be damaged". I had no choice but to get a refund, take everything back, and Uber home. ZERO effort to find a reasonable solution or provide decent customer service. I had to potentially pay MORE for their in-competence of not have correct sized boxes for when someone brings in items to be packed and shipped. Not a good look on UPS and will be contacting corporate about his service.

I found out at about 8:15 p.m. on a Tuesday that I needed to pack and ship a package. I was leaving on business very early the next morning and would be gone for several days, so I needed to get this shipped that evening. Even the post offices that stay open late close by 6 so that was out, FedEx/Kinkos was out because I don't have an extra testicle, which is what it would've cost to ship this heavy box using FedEx, so my only hope was to find a store that ships packages via UPS or USPS. I remember seeing this place along US1 in the plaza where TGI Fridays and Pier 1 Imports are located. I boxed everything up and headed out, hoping they were open (I couldn't remember the name of the place and couldn't find them in the few Google searches I did, so I couldn't call ahead). I arrived just after 9, the "OPEN" sign was still lit, and the door was unlocked. I walked in, thinking that maybe they were supposed to close at 9. I saw 2 people (the owners I think) in the back, and a chain gate was pulled 1/2 way across the hallway between the front of the business and the area where the sales counter is located. I asked if they were still open and pointed toward the "OPEN" sign that was still lit up. The man looked up and said "We close at 7 on weekdays". I asked if he could help me out, and I nicely explained again that I stopped because his open sign was still on. He smiled and said "You can come in". The woman who was working there was friendly and took care of me quickly, and because of their kindness I could relax knowing that these things were shipped before I left the next morning. That's customer service at its best! As far as the store, they sell boxes, tape and packaging products, they can ship via UPS, USPS and FedEx and they also sell stamps. I also believe you can drop items off to them and they will package them up for you and ship them. The next time I need shipping supplies or need to ship items, I'll be coming here for sure; They've earned my business. Come to think of it, I think I'll also send them one of the "You've been Yelped" cards as well!
