I got my fingerprinting done here and this was done very well but then they try to fool me into thinking I needed to pay priority package to send mail because it says do not bend on it. Something didn't feel right, so I didn't do it and went to USPS. The UPS store was so wrong. USPS charged me $1.15 compared to the $17 they wanted to charge me and warned me that 3rd party mailers usually over charge for postage. read more

I have never wanted to physically harm someone in the service industry in my life - till now. I have worked in customer service for over a decade and I've never had such a bad experience. My husband and I walk in with two big packages from amazon that came damaged. Amazon told me to print the label they sent me and to give it to ups. So I give the label to the girl and told her the story. She then tells me that she doesn't know if it'll work since there were two packages and only one label. (It was a dresser from our wedding registry that came in two separate boxes and they were both ridiculously heavy). Amazon didn't give me a second label so I asked her what we could do - she said she didn't know, but I needed a second label. I then asked her how I could get a second label if they are going to the same place and Amazon didn't give me one, she again said "I don't know". Then my husband asks if they have a bigger box to put them both in and she said "no, we don't carry boxes that big, but they need to be together or we can't take them". So, frustrated and tired from carrying these heavy boxes, I ask what she wants us to do, and you guessed it, she said "I don't know." Freaking hell, you literally work at a shipping store and you can't give me a freaking answer?!? My husband calmly puts a roll of tape on the counter and says that we will tape the two boxes together and put the label on the front. We sit there going back and forth with the roll of tape and finally finish, I tell her the label is on and she tells me, for the 10,000 time, "we will take them but I DON'T KNOW if it'll work". I tried to return an item from amazon here. The shipper, (Home Depot) sent me an invalid UPS return label. I called and got the correct label...this UPS store tried to charge me $1.50 to print out a label that was literally one piece of paper. I told them I wasn't going to pay that. Today, I went to this location to ship some things I sold on EBAY. I was fortunate to have been helped by the Owner at this location. I did not know he was the owner until I was leaving. This man took the time to pack my box and items for me, and because he packaged the box & items with his expertise, he saved me $20 in UPS Ground Fees. I really appreciate him being willing to help me, even at the expense of costing his business a few bucks. As I was leaving, he told me that he also prints business cards, Banners, and does Vinyl Sign work. I will definitely continue to rely on this location for all of my shipping needs and printing needs. read more

I went to this UPS to ship a rifle barrel back to a manufacturer for repairs. The woman that helped me was nice, but wasn't sure on their policy regarding shipping rifles parts. It wasn't an issue since I know that the topic of firearms is a little sensitive right now, and I understand that she didnt want to get in trouble. I knew it was perfectly okay since I've shipped parts through UPS before, and I've actually sent the same exact barrel through this UPS a month prior. The UPS policy also states that they will ship it as long as it's just a part, and not a fully functioning firearm or considered a firearm by federal law. My problem started when she asked another female employee what the policy was. The woman snapped and refused to send it because it was illegal. I tried to explain that I sent it before through their store and to check the policy regarding it, but she proceeded to yell and refused to check the UPS policy. Eventually they refused to send out my package and I ended up just sending through the UPS on Power Rd with no issues. I've had issues with this UPS in the past , like poor packaging and subpar service, but refusing to abide by your store's policy and yelling at customers is pretty ridiculous. Luckily, the one on Power Rd and the 202 accepted the rifle barrel with no issues. If I could give zero stars I would. A lady that works here that wears a heart monitor (which has nothing to do with my review, just pointing out who she is) was incredibly rude. I have a health condition that is significantly affected by heat and lack of oxygen. She rudely told me to wait outside in 117 degree weather to process my shipment. If she was worried I wasn't wearing a mask, she could've stepped in the back while processed my return instead of making me sit in the heat for 20 min. Also, she touched everything I touched but wasn't concerned about it affecting her that way. ‍ I will be avoiding this location from now on. Don't waste your time with selfish people. read more

I checked online for the nearest notary public. This UPS stores location was the one I was sent to. On the website it said they had a notary public so I arrived at 8:30 when they opened. The employee greeted me. When I asked if I could get an item notarized, he said "oh, he won't be in until noon". He then tried to offer other places for me to go. I understand he was trying to be helpful. But I went to the specific location because of the fact that there was supposed to be a notary available at 8:30AM. If not, they should state that on their website or on their storefront. I called back the next day and was told that I would have to come in for them to see the item to be notarized to determine whether or not they were able to notarize it. When they asked, I informed them that it was neither a will nor a power of attorney...which are the two items they said they were unable to notarize. I assured him they weren't. He suggested I still come in. Absolutely not. I'm not wasting my time to go through this entire process again. I will never go back! read more

There's a reason why this location has a poor rating. DO NOT waste your time and money on getting a finger print clearing card here. Before I even came in I called and asked the process and how much it cost to do one. They told me $65 dollars nothing else. When I got in the store they then tell me you need a money order and it depends on what type of finger print card you want. I was upset cause when I called it would have been nice to be told all the information up front. I then have to go to Albertsons to get a money order. Do the whole ordeal, then when I go to pay it's another $29!! What!? so how do you not mention that on the phone? So we send it out then it gets returned back because a box wasn't checked. When I went back to the store they wouldn't even offer to pay the additional $2 for postage cause your employees have no idea what they are doing. If you are going to charge $29 you should know everything that is needed on that form. Their response was it's not our responsibility to check the box. I asked them twice when I did it initially is there anything else I need on the form and they said it looked good. This place nickel and dimes you and has terrible knowledge and customer service or the services they offer. read more

I've been to this store many times but on September 23rd 2016 I went in a dropped off a prepaid return package to T-mobile. I was under the impression it was going UPS but it was USPS and the associate didn't tell me that they accept USPS as a courtesy and can't provide a receipt, he said 2 words to me at most. It is now November 3rd and my package has never been scanned as leaving this store (After speaking with the post office). I called and spoke to the owner, he was rude and told me he could not help me. When i told him is associate failed to mention any information about sending packages USPS, he said "That can't be right my people are consistent". Terrible customer service! Don't set foot in this store to send anything USPS, it won't leave and they will act like they can't help you!!! Take the extra 10 minutes to go somewhere else. read more

These folks went out of their way to make something right. When UPS damaged a package I sent to my mother, the brainiacs who damaged just "disposed" of the package. When I filed an insurance claim, they refused to pay it. Chris covered it no questions asked and dropped a check for the replacement value in the mail. read more

Yelled at me on the way out the door that I needed to set it on the scale, it was already weighed with the label on it I had a child waiting in the car didn't have time for him to weigh, yet there was no need to weigh it! Also if it really needed to go on the scale pick it up and put it on the scale how hard would that be for him to do! Brought a friend to this store to ship a pkg to her daughter for her birthday. The counter person, Bill, would not ship her pkg because she could not read and verify the address that he had on his printout. My friend told him that she could not read it, not that she wouldn't, but she could not. She had the address on the pkg, but he needed her to look at his printout and verify the address. He told her that he would not ship the pkg unless she did this. My friend cannot because she is legally blind. He would not help her and refused to send the pkg. read more

I love that I could just walk into this store with a dress, tell them I needed to ship it and they took care of the rest. They got the right box, packed up the dress and all I had to do was give them the address. And now they don't even ask you to fill out that order form. You just give them the address and they enter it right into their computer! Adding insurance on the package was easy and cost effective. They really make shipping a no hassle experience. They also send you and email with the confirmation and the tracking number for easy tracking later. read more

I have been coming to this store for now 2 yrs I have never had outstanding service, pretty mediocer but never anything to what I just went through! I got to UPS at 520 shipping a MAC AIR for work as I run my own business servicing small businesses IT. I have been advised and advised to be here by 530 and we can get it out. I was there 10 min early today and the associate advise it would not go on the ups truck. The ups driver had just gotten there, just in the door. The associate did not try to see if the ups driver would be able to take the package, he just estimated that it would take him longer than the UPS driver would be there. I actually drove out of UPS ahead of the UPS truck!!! If the associate would have put an ounce of effort into seeing if my package would make the truck in approbate time and if not at least he tried. Then after hearing there is nothing i can do for the 3rd time that is when I advised that there wasn't even an attempt! I am now rambling but LETS GO TO A DIFFERENT STORE. As many bad reviews in the last year this UPS has no respect for the customer. We should no reward places that treat customers this way. Im out... GOD BLESS read more

Just spent $25 to send a UPS package, They say the also take USPS. I asked to drop off my pre-paid USPS package in their outgoing mail. They said they would only do it of a $1 fee. It's Christmas, one of the busiest seasons for UPS, and the one guy is 20 minutes late opening the store and leaves a line of people standing outside for another 10 minutes while he saunters around the store doing what should have been done 45 minutes ago. No "sorry I'm late" or anything. Consistently the worst customer service of any store in the world. Reminds me of the DMV. If I had another option I'd take it. Truly a disappointment. read more

The lady's closing tonight were very friendly. I called 5 minutes before close to ask if they would be able to take my packages if I got there 3 minutes after. The lady on the phone said they were with other customers at the moment that may take longer past 5:00 when they close. I went to this UPS store to have two documents notarized as I wait inline for my turn I tell the nice lady assisting customers at the register that I need a notary, she speaks up stating notaries are at this counter, our notary will be right with you. I moved over to the notary counter and I am standing there waiting. The lady who is the notary is about ten feet away taping boxes. I wait and I wait while she ignores me and continues taping boxes. Another customer who was two people behind me needs a notary as well. The nice lady at the register tells the gentleman the same thing she told me. Our notary counter is right over here, she will be with you shortly. The lady who is the notary still ignores the notary request and is still taping boxes. I am at this point awkwardly standing there thinking she has terrible customer service. The feeling she gave was what an inconvenience I am for her. After about 5 mins of me just standing there watching her tape boxes she decides she will help now. It gets better, when she walks up she tells the two ladies at the register I will not do any more notaries after these today; it is 1pm as I am on my lunch break. The entire situation was awkward and uncomfortable as a customer. If you do not like doing notaries or helping customers especially this time of year why are you working in a UPS store? I would assume she is a manager which in my opinion magnifies the poor customer service, her employees see this behavior and will do the same. This manager needs some customer service coaching. My job is based around customer service and I know the customer is the heart of any business without them the business does not exist. read more
