I had been driving around with a package in my car for over a week dreading the drop off because, as most of us can relate, I just don't have the time to deal with waiting to do the mundane task of mailing a package. My mom shipped me a birthday package from this store (on the 9/21 at 3:40) which originally included a jacket, a $200 check, candy, and a Starbucks gift card. She asked the UPS employee to tape the package twice (in addition to her sealing it) since there were valuable items inside and he ensured her that he would do that. When I got the package, it wasn't taped, the corner was torn, and the jacket was the only item inside. We will file a claim but since nothing will most likely come from it take my advice and don't use this store. read more

I went the week before Christmas to send off gifts to relatives in three different states. Most of the stuff I was sending was no big deal (cincy chili etc) BUT I also had a pair of Oakley sunglasses my sister in Wisconsin forgot over Thanksgiving. Those were the ONLY truly valuable item in all the gifts. I declared the value on the slip and asked for extra insurance on that one package. Fast forward to the next week... all 3 boxes show up...by the Oakley's are mysteriously missing. I go back to my receipt and i was NOT given the extra insurance on that package. I was about to go into the store and I get a call from my brother in FL asking why I sent him sunglasses. That box arrived three days after the rest of the stuff...postmarked days after I left the store... to the wrong state...and NOT wrapped in bubble wrap like I left them at the counter. we will NOT be using UPS to mail these glasses up to Wisconsin. And I'm just glad the boxes all went to relatives and not random business customers etc. We will not be using the store again. read more

Horrible, unfriendly service. They just lost my closing documents for a real estate transaction. I have all of the paperwork, receipt tracking number etc. The tracking number shows nothing and they can't find the documents that I had them notarize. $50 wasted!!!! They were supposed to research this and call me back, they forgot! Avoid at all costs! read more

I have used UPS for more years than I can count. I used to have to take packages downtown, so this is very convenient. Frequently I need them to box odd sized items, and that always seems rather pricey. Also if you insure a high $$$ amount they charge you to double box in addition to the insurance cost. If they require the extra packaging it seems like that should be included in the premium. read more

Very disappointing service and questionable owner response/integrity. My story is about a teenage daughter who has been without her iphone for 2 full weeks instead of what should have been no more than 5 days. And anyone with a teenage daughter knows that every day has been agonizing for everyone in our house. I was directed to the Loveland UPS store from the Apple website for a return of my daughter's damaged iPhone. The repair case number was generated on-line by Apple on 9/19/13 and we dropped off the phone to the Loveland UPS store on a Saturday morning (9/21/13). Nobody else was in the store at the time and the clerk took the phone and the repair number and said he had everything he needed. Apple had approved 2 day shipping. 5 days later, the Apple website continued to indicate that the phone had not been received. I called the store on Friday morning (9/27/13) and spoke directly to the franchise owner. He told me he would check into it when his employee came in and get right back with me. The store owner never called me back and two days later I left a message Saturday evening requesting a call back. As it turns out, the phone sat at the UPS store for six days before finally being shipped out on 9/27/13. When I asked the owner why this happened, he blamed it on Apple saying that their website had not released them to ship it. I called. Apple and asked them to verify that this was in fact what happened. They absolutely refuted the UPS store owners claim and said that the shipment authorization was transmitted within 2 hours ... Not 6 days as claimed by the owner. I have tried to be very objective about this, but can only conclude that this UPS store forgot about my daughter's phone for 6 days until I called. Then the owner of the store never returned my call as he promised and then blamed the delay on Apple when it very much appears that the blame lies with the UPS store. Apple really stepped up to help cover this UPS Store debacle and ensured that the replacement phone was processed quickly and return shipped overnight delivery ... by FEDEX. It just showed up. read more

Be aware that no mail will be forwarded once you close your mailbox. Due to a miscommunication with the store, our box was closed without our knowledge. Although they offer a 30-day period after closing the box in order to allow you to see in anyone needs your forwarded address, since we did not know the box was closed, the 30-day period was virtually useless. Also, do be vigilant about the status of your box. Not everyone who works in the store is on the same level of knowledge and you may have someone checking your box even after it has been closed, and they will not mention it has been closed because they will not know. read more

Like getting ripped off?! Every time I ship through them it is 25-100% higher than the prices quoted on the web or via my Amazon or ebay accounts. I just called UPS customer service and they said their stores are permitted to mark up their shipping because they are franchises. I'll buy my postage online and drop off there but never buy through them. Or if I don't feel like doing it online I'm going to the USPS or Fedex read more

Absolutely worst customer service. We just recently moved to town and the employee was rude and unhelpful. I have used many UPS stores in the past and never experienced this poor of customer service. Will never be going back. read more
