History
Established in 1931.
In January of 1931, Charles Alexander and Charles Harman began a printing service in Middletown known as the Consolidated Printing Company. They incorporated into their service every major advancement, the speediest printing equipment and freshest designs. They quickly became known as an efficient organization with a reputation of producing quality printing. Charles Alexander passed away in 1953 and Harman continued operating the business until 1957 when George Reed and Robert Steward purchased the company. By this time office supplies and office furniture were added services. In February of 1976, Jim Burke and Gary Daubenmire purchased the company. In the early 80's, Gary Daubenmire and Jim Burke split the company with Daubenmire carrying on the printing tradition in Middletown. In early 2014, Gary Daubenmire retired and sold his business to former employee Gina Gunderson.
Meet the Business Owner: Gina G.
Gina Gunderson began in the printing business with Consolidated Printing in the fall of 1980. Gina left the company in the late 80's and went on to work with other local printers in the Butler County area. She has experience in every area of the business from customer service, typesetting, bindery, dark room (which is no longer used thanks to advancement in technology), human resources, accounting and sales. Prior to purchasing the business, Gina was in printing sales for 10 years. When Gary Daubenmire decided to retire, it was a perfect opportunity for Gina to return to Middletown and Daubenmire's Printing Company.
