I've usually had good service at this location, but this experience was disappointing. I shipped a high-value custom desktop PC and paid $353 for professional packing, shipping, and insurance, specifically requesting that the interior of the tower be properly braced and supported due to the weight of the GPU and internal components. That was not done. When the computer arrived, it was clearly not kept upright during transit and appears to have been laid flat or slid. The PC showed up damaged, with internal components loose and the GPU broken, despite being fully functional and in excellent condition prior to shipment. I understand that shipping always carries some risk, which is exactly why I paid for professional packing and insurance. Unfortunately, the packing provided was inadequate for a heavy, high-value computer, and the damage could likely have been prevented if it had been packed as requested. I've filed a claim with the carrier and expect this to be handled appropriately. Had the system been packed correctly, this situation could have been avoided entirely. For the cost paid, I expected a far higher standard of care. read more

This place is ridiculous. Service is slow and rude but my favorite is that they recently told my 15 year old that you have to be 18 to mail a package. Be prepared to meet face to face with a very unpleasant woman. Thin, strong jawline, highlights, heavy makeup, and simply rude. She sees me with a kid in one arm and three boxes in the other struggling to close a box and just watches--as if deep in her bones she has just lost the art of empathy. Like her hand and heart is too broken to lift a finger. Or even a drop of kindness. People are stressed walking in. It's an inconvenient location with no easy parking, and the woman just loves to pour salt on top of whatever struggle you're walking in with. I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe the first interaction was a one off. But nope, almost feels sadistic the pleasure seen in her eyes as she asserts whatever little authority she has over others to make sure they know who's boss. Like she's so fixated on the red tape you know she'd never throw a bone to help you out. The woman in the back however--wonderful. And the guy too. Why are they in the back and Miss Personality is up front. Please make her do the grunt work of lifting boxes. She does not deserve to be up front when her job is to interact with customers and she clearly has great disdain for them. Thanks for not lifting a finger to help a gal out. And thanks to the woman in the back--younger--with long dark hair, who gave a sh** about me and said that she would put my things in the right boxes so they'd be easily sent. The worse UPS store and customer service ever!! The short stalky Hispanic girl was really rude! I've been going there for 7 years because it's very close to my place and everyone working there always look like they hate their job! Most of them look very dopey and grumpy! Today my husband asked me to drop off Amazon return and the box was little bit open and the short lady was yelling at me "next time close to box ok! " you have to tape it!" I guess because most of the time my husband did Amazon return he never close the package and this time is bigger box I returned for him and and you not supposed to return it unsealed. But this lady was very grumpy that she had to seal it for me. My point is she didn't have to be rude like that to me in the front of other customers! I know you hated your job there but atleast you got a job!! I would never go back to this UPS ever again! Rude staff. I called twice to confirm that they'd have a notary on site today (like the website says) before I came in with no answer, despite not having a single customer in when I got there. I went around 6pm on Thursday to ship a package to Seattle. There was no line, and I only saw two other customers in the store. The woman working was super nice and helpful. She helped pack my items into an 8x8x8 box and shipped it for $14, which is a pretty fair rate. Parking: can be hard on Robertson, but I just found free street parking in the neighborhood on Wooster and walked a couple blocks. read more

I did three Amazon returns at this store. The rep was really rude and refused to take any of the items unless I bought a box even though amazon return instruction clearly states no box is required. I ended up paying $35.00 for absolutely no reason other than not wanting to go to another store. I paid $18.95 ($20.76 with tax) to get my daughter's passport photo taken there. There was a piece of hair over her eye and I asked if they should re-take it and they said no, it's fine. Sure enough, got to the passport office and they wouldn't accept it, so had to pay to get another passport photo taken. If that's part of the store's business, then they should know the requirements for taking passport photos and if they don't do it properly, they need to refund the customer. Of course, I called the store - no answer - emailed them with the receipt information - no response. And from what I can see from the reviews on Yelp, I'm not alone. They tell you stay outside calling it covid precaution where anyone who needed a vaccine is now vaccinated. 2: they are rude! I came here on a saturday afternoon. It's not a bad ups store, it has enough to fulfill the are minimum of what you need. I normally don't like ups because of the outrageous shipping prices and slow delivery service, but I like the idea of a store that gives you other carrier options. I needed something delivered to West Virginia from California, and the cheapest and fastest option was priority mail. It already came with tracking, and it would be shipped out Monday and should arrive in 3-5 days. It arrived exactly on the 5th day, so I guess no complaints there. Service was good, although no one was at the front when I came in. They didn't have a sturdy document envelope, just the ones with bubble wrap, so I opted to use the priority mail envelope instead. The pro is that it is open late on a Saturday, and not much else. All the other mail places were closed. read more

#FAIL. I worked for UPS corporate in Atlanta for over 10 years. I go out of my way to find a UPS store bc I am loyal to the company. Usually UPS folks are nice. Usually. However, I think I found the RUDEST owner of them all. I printed one single sheet of paper B&W. He charged me $2.00. I said it was "highway robbery" and that set him off. Can't I afford $2.00? Don't I know he's running a biz? I used his computer. His paper. He pointed to other customers and said "they all get it." What I don't get is why this guy was SO ____ RUDE?!?! While the folks here aren't particularly talkative, they ARE efficient! I've stopped by to see the "Brown" guys quite a few times and I have to say, I'm always in and out with the least amount of stress possible. The parking kind of sucks unless you're there on a weekday and even then it's shoddy...I suggest heading south on Robertson and parking at a meter on the west side of the street. For the most part I have only had to walk a few car lengths to get to the front door... I've been here for a Notary Public as well as for sending packages...and for both, I've left content. I was just there per the advice of my granny the other day...had planned on packing my Christmas prezzies myself and then hauling them into the local Post Office, but she suggested I let UPS pack it for me and ship it through their store. GREAT idea Granny!! I brought in three bags full of wrapped crap and they packaged it nice and secure in a box for me...all for $32 total for 21.1 lbs and it was being sent to Texas from Cali!! Yeah, might have been a LITTLE cheaper at the Post Office but I saved in stress alone by avoiding the hassle of long lines and purchasing a box, tape, and bubble wrap! Oh, and the best part...three days to deliver it and that's DURING the week before Christmas. :) read more

Seriously rip offs. I made the mistake of coming here to print 4 pages. They charge you $2 to simply use the computer to print the pages and then $0.16 per page. I should have just gone the staples or FedEx, where they charge just $0.08 a page. What should have been $.036 turned into $2.32. I know this is super petty of me since it's just a print job but I felt I needed to tell others. This place is a freaking scam. read more

I've been here a couple times and I've had nothing but great experiences. I was shipping a Vitamix to a friend, and they check through the box and repositioned everything because the way I had it things were going to break. They didn't charge me extra.
