The signage I needed was done on foam core and they were able to do custom shapes for a set fee. Our graphic designer's files included the exact colors and specified lines exactly where to cut. Their work surpassed my expectations in terms of quality, packaging and customer service. A gentleman even helped me carry out the signage to my car (the packaged box was about 7 ft tall and 5 ft wide!) Amidst all the hustle and bustle of wilshire blvd, this staples location felt spacious and dare I say, "Serene"? hahaha, i think my experience may have felt that way because of the excellent customer service I received. I walked to the back where the printing dept is, and a gentleman name Nate was at the counter helping someone, but he immediately acknowledged me and let me know he would be right with me. Wow! That's old school these day and I love to see it! After he was done with the initial customer, he came and asked me what I needed help with. I told him and Nate patiently and thoroughly walked me through all of the options I had available to me. Then retreated and gave me space to make my own decisions, then was there for me when I came back with more questions, and just, wow. He was so patient and helpful. I am neurodivergent and interacting with someone in customer service these days who displayed that depth of patience and understanding is so rare. Every so often we have something extra fancy, like a chrome-foiled folded menu for a formal event, or a large format newsprint zine with vibrant photography. They provide options for new projects we dream up, bring us samples, and share photos of test prints so we know we're getting exactly what we want. The personal relationship we've built makes new projects less stressful, because we know Design Printing will always help us out! They save us when we need to print last minute, and are always willing to work something out if a mistake is made.
