An update! I'd like to commend this store for stepping up after acknowledging poor customer service and helping me out once I came into the store to retrieve my packages. The employee I spoke to previously was able to sort out what kind of packages had been sent and explained the fee structure. I ended up not needing to pay for the packages, and had the packages been from a different type of sender, the store was opting to comp me for it anyways. I appreciate the acknowledgment and the explanation. I was able to give extended feedback in person and also didn't need to give my work a lengthy explanation of charges, which was the big frustration in the first place. HUGE COMPLAINT: UPS STORE EMPLOYEE ARGUES WITH CUSTOMER NON-STOP AT 2:45PM ON 4/22/26 FOR UPS OWNER (3RD PARTY) STORE @ THE RENAISSANCE HOTEL EMPLOYEE: HE SAID HIS NAME IS JOHN & HE IS THERE MON-FRI. INCIDENT REPORT: I'm a customer frequently at this location, John the employee, has dealt with me prior and never has been so hostile in his manner and behavior. Today, at 2:45pm, he argued with me about using a PEN, to write my TO & FROM, on my letter I was about to mail out at ups, because the pen was from the "for sale" area. I told him POLITELY that I used the PEN because: - his back was turned, he was not available to assist me - I did not want to interfere & ask him for a pen - He was near the printer, not near the desk - I used the pen to write to & from, because HE LEFT NO PEN out, for customers to use - I USED THE PEN because it was all that was available John, started to verbally abuse me in front of another customer (public humiliation) talking down to me, talking at me, and using misbehavior. I said to John, give me good customer service. He didn't wanna listen or surrender his ego. He was in his ego and arguing verbally back and forth with me, a customer, in front of another man. Making the man, also hostile, as I asked the man, to be my witness. The man was also, not supportive, and I told John, I could send this complaint to your boss and you are being recorded. He still refused to surrender his ego and even made remarks about calling the security, but lying about it in front of me and the other customer. He said: I should had asked to use the pen, I said , he wasn't available for me to ask. He was defensive and abusive verbally and emotionally. It lasted for about 10 mins. I told him, I will complain, and he will get fired. He said no he won't. He said I was funny. Totally inappropriate and inaccurate & unprofessional and really unprovoked. I was there just to ship a letter to my brother. He turned it into an argument while at his job on the clock. I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO TELL. I WALKED FAST TO THE RENAISSANCE FRONT DESK & APPROACHED A MALE & A FEMALE STAFF. Rachel at the front desk wrote everything down to be forwarded to the Renaissance manager so she can call me later. They all apologized and really sided with me about how that shouldn't had happened. They don't tolerate bad customer service and disrespect. They immediately said NO SECURITY WOULD BE CALLED. They also told me to call UPS directly to complain since it's a 3rd party store on their location. I called ups just now... I couldn't hear the man on the phone because his accent was too deep and also he needed the ups employees name. I called ups and got his name. He said his name was JOHN, at (702)784-5783, UPS store at: 3400 Paradise Rd Las Vegas NV 89169. I want the camera footage at 2:45pm on 4/22/26 to be pulled up so that you can see how he was talking at me. He was talking crazy. I want an apology! Online it says they open at 6am today, so I get there at 7:25. Theres a "Be Back at 8am" sign on the door, lights on inside. Im retired, no rush, I wait. When they open I had the temerity to ask about the sign, because if they are short-handed in the morning, I'll come at 10 or 11 next time, no problem. She says "Umm.. that's not a 'Be Back' sign sir, that's a CLOSED sign, we open at EIGHT." Dripping with sarcasm and attitude. Whoa... what have I run into this morning? Well, clearly it says "Be Back" with 2 clock hands pointing to 8. I ask her does she realize online it says 6am open? She says yes, but thats not her problem, people complain about that and theres nothing she can do. She then suggested I call Google directly to get it fixed. Really? I, the customer, should waste my time calling Google to fix your issue? At this point I ask her directly, "This is nothing personal, what's your issue? I just asked a simple question about your sign, so if you're busy I'll come in the afternoon next time." She screams: "I just got to work!" I replied in a calm voice "But miss... Im the one waiting outside for 35mins." When we were finally done, I said a friendly "thank you", she completely ignored me. Look, I was a BMW service advisor for 20+ years both in LA and Henderson. Edit 11/6/24 - Still no word back from UPS and woke up to an email that my package is still waiting to be picked up. So that means the people working aren't scanning the packages and are charging people $10-$20 to pocket it. Imagine having to pay $10 because UPS and Vegas like to rob people. Who does that? Do NOT send a package to this location for pickup. When I ordered from an online vendor, I was given an option to ship to a UPS store. I chose this one because it's closest to my house. The vendor did not disclose that this store would charge a pickup fee. When I selected this location, there was no disclosure of the fee. I did not know that this location is inside the Renaissance Hotel. When I went to pick up my package, the employee told me there was a $15 charge. FOR WHAT?! I've never been charged a fee to pick up at other UPS locations and this store's webpage did not state that it would charge a pick up fee. TOTALLY SHADY AND AN UTTER RIP-OFF. I told the employee that the fee was never disclosed to me and I did not consent to it. She tried to justify it and ultimately reduced the fee to $10. While that was nice of her, the reduction seemed arbitrary and probably because the fee is bullshit in the first place. read more

this location is inside a hotel on Paradise. I work down there and maps said it was the closest. so i go in and the girl is messing with the printer totally ignoring me. So I ask is there some else working. She goes no just me and continued with the printer until she got frustrated, then she asked if she could help me. I walked in to receive a package the store received a day prior for me. I was met by Mariana who instantly had a major attitude with me. After she looked up the tracking number, she angerly told me there was no package received for me at that location. I called my father on the speaker phone, the 1 who sent the package, & he stated he called the store yesterday & already confirmed with Mariana that the package had arrived. Mariana responded back with the utmost disrespectful attitude to my elderly veteran father & stated, "It's not here and I am not going to waste my time calling customer service to confirm the package!" My father was shocked by her attitude & lack of professionalism & replied, "The package is there, I confirmed it with you yesterday & you are not doing your job." I got off the phone with him & pulled up UPS tracking & showed her it was delivered to this location. She snapped back with attitude & said, "Not at this location! I didn't receive anything! You are at the wrong location!" I looked down at my phone & it showed that she was the 1 who accepted the delivery. I showed her & her response was, "Of course they put my name because they know me!" That response didn't make any sense. I asked if there was any other way to check if it was at this location. She then asked for my name, size of box, what was in it, among a lot of other unnecessary questions. She fiddled in the back room for a minute, came out & said, "There is nothing more I can do. The package is not here!" She took my name & number & said she will call if it shows up. I was now a few blocks from the hotel on the phone with my dad & she called. I added her into a 3-way call with my dad. She rudely said, "I found your package. It did not have your name on it so that is why I couldn't find it." My dad responded, "That is not true; both our names are on it." She responded with, "Do you want your package or not?!" There was a pause after that as my father and I couldn't believe how this employee was mistreating us. After two seconds of silence she yelled into the phone, "Helllooo??!!" I responded back, "I am turning around & coming back now." She then hung the phone up on us. I went in & she began with attitude, explaining a different story of how another employee didn't check-in the package the day prior, without giving me any kind of apology for any of this insane behavior. I didn't care about her explanation or her at this point & just wanted my package so I could leave her godawful presence. I told her, "Okay, I understand" as I reached out my hand to take the package from her. She then pulled away from the counter with the package & said with more attitude, "There is a pick-up fee of $25 to get your package." I said, "What? I have never heard of such a thing. Is it because we are inside of a casino?" Instead of answering my question, she patronized me with, "Sir, this is not a casino. This is a hotel!" as she aggressively tossed my expensive package with no respect on the back counter. She had an employee of the Hotel in there who she then obnoxiously laughed to about my situation to humiliate me. Holding my anger back, once more I rephrased my question, "So, I have to pay for a package that has already been paid for by my dad to be shipped here because this is a hotel?" She rudely responded with, "Yep!" without giving any explanation as to why. I just wanted out of there immediately & to be done dealing with such disrespect towards me & I said, "Okay, I'll pay it." She then rolled her eyes, went over & snatched the package from the back counter without saying anything & aggressively dropped the box on the counter next to the register, then threw the scanner at the register in anger & rudely asked, "Cash or card?" I told her "Card." I swiped my card & she impatiently said, "You have to put your card in the machine!" As I was putting my card into the machine, she grabbed my bank card from me & put it in herself & began going through the prompts & accepted the purchase on my behalf. She gave me the receipt & walked away chuckling to the hotel employee giving the impression she was proud of herself for treating me with utmost disrespect. At no point did I give her any reason to treat me or my dad the way she did. It is beyond shameful for this location to have an employee who treats people like this & lies to them about everything while not apologizing for her not doing her job or answering legitimate questions. This experience was beyond horrible to say the least. It is insane to know this is how this UPS location treats military veterans and gets away with it. I have contacted UPS to make a formal complaint and will be reaching out to the store for another formal complaint about Mariana. Do not go here. The reviews are horrible, and they charge you fees that are unnecessary. If you are a visitor in town, look up other UPS locations & go there.This business doesn't deserve to have any customers & you deserve to be treated better read more

This service was awful. They don't warn you that anything you send to the hotel will be thrown in the UPS back room. If the UPS is closed, you are out of luck. If the person behind the counter is not the one who received the package, you are also out of luck. No management or any accountability. I do not recommend. read more

I work down the street and this was the closest location to me so I went to drop off my package and the guy asked me if I lived here. I agree with the other review from Kelsey S. This place is not ON the strip. It's in a hotel under the monorail. Yet, they want to charge $5 just to have it there until the UPS person comes? Who probably comes more than once per day...Funk dat. After I heard that, I tuned out and abruptly left. He was still talking since I also asked to print one page which was the RMA for said package. But hey, I'm sure they make money from all the other tourists. So, you need to find a UPS store further "out".
