This UPS Store located on 3315 E Russell Road. Came here twice in a row on this weekend, Saturday and Sunday. Both times I needed a Notary Public Service. I Googled it and called for information and operational hours. The employee who worked on Saturday, was a notary and told me that if I needed a notary on Sunday, the service will be also available, but make sure I arrive one hour before closing time. When they are open they are good but today a Wednesday has a sign on the door saying open at 10 ! This was not the first time ... it's just frustrating . I should have taken a picture - funny I was replied to just now at 10am, saying I should check the location... Russel n Pecos we were at the EOS working out till 8:15 walked right over door was locked, and a sign was taped on the window with new hours. I wish I could award Zero Stars. These people are dumber than a 2 year old. I went there to mail a package via USPS, which they are contracted with, and they told me they couldn't mail a tracking package... Isn't that what UPS is for?? I thougt that was the type of business. Inconvenient and overall annoying to deal with. 1.) They won't store a credit card for mailbox auto pay so you don't have to worry about it. EVERY other business expense is on auto pay, except business registration and taxes. Why do you not allow auto pay? Because you'd prefer to collect late fees. Well I hope your $30 in late fees are worth a 1 star review. I mean personally I don't think it's worth the risk, but you do you. If it were me I'd offer auto pay to my customers so it's a win win for everyone. 2.) I don't get much mail, so I don't come often, just tried to come for the first time in months and there's a closed sign on the door for remodeling. No email notice sent, no text alert sent, NOTHING. 3.) The hours changing really sucks. I only picked this place years ago because it was one of the few that stayed open the latest. Now I'm stuck with my box here because there's no change of address for business, otherwise I wish I could just go to another location closer to me that's open later. I walked in and told the owner I wanted to get some paperwork notarized (my boss told me UPS does it free) he said okay and proceeded to fill out his paperwork and then spun the screen around for me to sign and it was showing 0.00 due. Then I asked him to ship and he said it was 41.80 so I said okay and he fill out and printed labels and sealed it all up and then said that will be 56.80 and I said what? And then he said it was 15.00 for notarizing the documents. I said you didn't tell me there was 15.00 for notarizing and he said well I thought you knew! How would I know that I don't work here and then he just stood there shaking his head at me like I was stupid what a horrible experience will never use his store again read more

They are quick and friendly. I come here for mostly Amazon returns. They don't ask any questions and they scan and take your iteams. I came here last month for a delivery for a parcel to a different state. The cashier was nice and whole experience was speedy. read more

Great location, easy to find, access in and out of the strip mall quick. Unfortunately, the odor inside the store took my breath away; the ammonia smell and the smell of wet cats was overwhelming. Came into this UPS store about 1 minutes ago ago, had to ship out a phone back to the insurance company. As most ppl know prior to sending a phone back to the insurance company you have to delete everything off the phone. That can only be done if you were connected to the Internet. However, being that the phone no longer has service there's no Internet data available. I asked the Asian girl if there was Internet and she told me yes so when I looked it up on Wi-Fi, they had ups guest internet, I asked for the password and she claims she didn't know it so she went to ask the other worker behind the wall and the other worker proceeds to tell her not to give out the password because it's not allowed to be used by guest. EVEN THOUGH IT CLEARLY STATES ITS FOR GUESTS! So of course, I ask her " You're not going to let me use the Internet?" to which she replies " oh, there is no Internet here" the entire time. I'm looking at her and thinking how insulting is it that she's actually going to lie to my face. This place is disgusting and the people who work here are disgust. Someone comes in to handle business and they get in the way of that? . It makes no sense to me. They should be fired. read more

The worst store ever, every time I come in there they act like they are doing you a favor. The older lady in there is sweet but the younger girl a Karen . Everything more important then the customer- if there is a line she will not help and if you ask she will just say no I have to do something else. The flamingo and sandhill store is so much nicer. Had to get a document notarized and since banking institutions cannot be a witness they recommended the UPS store. Their staff here was very friendly and assisted me during the process. Had to drop off 3 other packages since and never had any issues. Wait times were very reasonable and so were prices. read more

Went in there today just to drop a package that needed to be mailed out. Had a label already... Was told by the person "we dont take these... I'll do it this one time but not again". Then the young lady processed to show me the label and what it reads... And says..." See it says USPS and we are UPS" ..." Just so you know for next time". I completely know that it was a UPS store.... But just figured...its mail... They can toss it in the pile that needs to be picked up....simple!! ... Thats all.!!! Updated review..... I love this UPS store because it's next to my gym and the staff here is excellent. However, I came in at 11:35am today to drop off an amazon return and was served by the manager Javier. He was sullen and very unwelcoming. My QR code wouldn't read initially so he was getting miserable about it, when I suggested 'typing it in', he flatly said no. His customer service skill leave a lot to be desired. I expect a friendly face when I go here, as I've had in the past. Disappointing to say the least. Dropped in here at 8:30am to drop off an Amazon return. Walked in, was greeted by a very friendly associate. She processed my return really quickly (I don't have a printer so paid for ups to print it), gave me the receipt and I was done. I will NEVER use UPS for shipping EVER again!!! I sent a package Thursday overnight...paid $67.28 to have it delivered next day. Was a father's day gift for my Dad...they say they attempted to deliver the package Friday at 3:26pm...my parents live on a one way in one way out road...they were home all day, working in their yard. I received an email stating that they tried to deliver and left a call tag...LIE!!!! NEVER did this happen. Then it said it would be delivered by Saturday at 9pm it was never attempted for Delivery on Saturday and then I get an email saying it won't be delivered until Monday by 9pm due to EMERGENCY Weather or an emergency situation...San Diego Does not have emergency weather EVER and there is no emergency situation happening in San Diego. I went to speak to the UPS store she said there was nothing she could do. I called UPS and their excuse was due to Covid19 they can not credit any money back and then they said that the people at this location can help with a refund...I told them I was just there and they told me that only the customer service line could help me...so someone is lying to me.....so I paid for overnight shipping and had a 4 day delivery!!! Needless to say I caused a stink...still nothing done about it. I will NEVER use UPS ever again and I suggest you all use FEDEx!!! I have been shipping from this store for a while, and when a mailbox was needed, this UPS store is much closer to home than the post office, so I gave it a go. Ron has always been friendly and personable whenever I have gone in. He talks to his customers, gets to know them, and remembers them. He hasn't forgotten the value of customer service! If he isn't busy helping other customers, and notices me drive into the parking lot, I won't make it to the door, before he has made it to the back section, grabbed the larger packages I have received and meets me with them. Today I had a number of errands to run, knowing that UPS Store opens at 0800, I went there first. I arrived at 8:05 and no one was there, double checked the door for opening time and yes it read 0800. The opening person showed up at 8:10 and took her time getting out of the car, strolling to the door and unlocking it. She had no signs of stress for being late. While on vacation in Vegas we decided to check out some local antique shops and found a mid century mirror shelf combo. Since we flew there we would have to ship it home if we bought it. The antique shop told us about the ups store in the same strip mall. So we went and made sure it was something they could package and ship without damage. They said yes so we bought the mirror and paid the ups store to package and ship it. We thought we were being smart buying the insurance but in the end, the mirror was broken on arrival, they picked it up, and I haven't seen a dime in 4 months now. No mirror and no money. If I spent that money at a slot machine at least I would have had a chance of coming out on top. read more
