I went to drop off Amazon returns, and every single person I interacted with was so kind and went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Even when I first arrived and there was barely any wait, one of the employees acknowledged I was there and said I'd be helped soon. I didn't even think I waited that long, so I thought that was really thoughtful of her! I also saw how helpful and friendly they were with other customers. I have been coming here for 15 years to send packages. No more. I went to send some packages and they told me I would have to buy a $6 roll of tape to seal the package. The employees tried to blame it on Amazon and claim Amazon requires it. There is no way that Amazon has a policy that says UPS stores cannot give customers a strip of tape to seal a return. I get that giving everyone a couple strips of tape adds up, but so does me no longer coming to this business. Saving pennies, losing dollars. I like to support the businesses in my neighborhood shopping center, even though it is pretty rundown, but there is a Kohl's right by my office that I will now be using. Edit: If I was ever going to get over my initial frustration and return, the response below made up my mind. Amazon DOES NOT have a policy regarding who supplies the tape, just that the customer does the taping. This is like going to a restaurant and being told that you are supposed to bring your own napkin, but if you didn't you have to buy a 100-pack from them. Ridiculous. read more

I've been coming here for over 7 years and I've never had a bad experience until today. I went in to ship out UPS returns and was told I had to buy a roll of tape to seal my packages. I was here literally 3 days ago to ship another return and they did not have this policy. The older woman gave the worst customer service, did not greet me as I came in nor said anything to me while I stood in front of her. The first thing she said to me was "you have to tape that up yourself, we sell tape". Whatever, I bought the $6 tape. I love this UPS at this location. They are always "up", in a good mood, friendly, respectful, and seek you out while you'll be waiting in line to see what they can help you with. This if the best UPS location for service and they are much more attentive than FEDEX, USPS or any other mail services. I can't fault the staff for the prices, but I sent a package half the size of a letter paper about 4x6 that cost me $15 for regular USPS services. It's been over 5 days and my grandson still has not received the package. I use them all the time for RETURNS to AMAZON All that service and they are very close by. I've never had to wait more than 5-7 minutes before it was my turn. read more

I think is might be the closest UPS store to my house and I love it! Location right off busy Charleston on Rancho in the Smiths grocery store shopping center-- very easy to find. Every time I come here there is never a line and there's always someone upfront to help you. No matter who helps you, everyone is always polite, quick and friendly. They'll take your drop off packages and immediately give you a receipt for proof of drop off. I'm literally 1 minute in and out at the most, only thing it isn't fast getting out of the parking lot because of how many cars drive into this tiny plaza. The plaza itself is definitely always super busy but other than that, it works-- so I'll keep dropping off my packages to this location. Thanks UPS and keep up the good work! Called a few days ago to ask about how printing works with a flash drive. Employee who picked up was super friendly and was able to explain the process. I dropped in about 15 minutes later and was greeted by Jeff (who I think picked up the phone initially) Jeff literally greeted me and stayed by my side to guide me through the process the whole time. He really went the extra mile to ensure that I didn't have to reach out with any concerns and was able to help me properly print 40+ pages correctly. Although it was a simple task, Jeff took the initiative to offer his assistance throughout the process and that is something you do not see in the customer service realm these days. I never have any issues at this location. I have taken quite a few pairs of shoes, in their shoe boxes, to send via prepaid label. The older lady, I forget her name, is very knowledgeable because she gets these shipments all the time of people selling their shoes via GOAT, StockX, Mercari, etc.... I listened as an employee patiently provided information and offered apologies for the limitations of his role. When the call was over there were no attempts to mock the customer or roll his eyes. The parking lot is HORRIBLE, I warned you. If you do find a spot in front of the door there is ALWAYS some random chain smoker toking a cig right there, it never fails! If you can find a parking space and go in...you will get great customer service. Yes their prices are higher and if you have any clue about shipping whatsoever you will know this already. They have to pay rent people! We buy 90% of our daily household items from Amazon, we don't shop at Walmart or Target or any of that crap. We order tons of clothes, accessories, and shoes etc. from Zappos and other companies online. What does all this mean?! We have returns sometimes! I walk in they scan it and give me a receipt. Done. I had a post office box with this store since 1996. In August I put in for an address change and closed my PO Box after 24 years. A package was sent to me for the holidays at my old PO Box. They called me and I said I would be in to pick it up and how much I appreciated that they called. My elderly mother went to this store to send a package UPS, signature required, on a very expensive item. For some reason, they advised her to sent the package USPS, no signature required, first class. They did not give her a tracking number, which was the whole point of her going to the store, and the parcel was lost in the mail. I called the store to see if they could find the tracking number, but they could not find the records. At first, when I called, the clerk said he needed the specific day, later he claimed to have searched the entire month in just a few minutes. I got the impression he was just trying to get me off the phone. It didn't sound like he really checked. I don't know what happened, but I could tell that he could care less about the situation. In the end, I should have driven from Southern California to Las Vegas to pick up the package myself and drive back. It would have been cheaper, less stressful, and less time consuming. I've been to this UPS store multiple times and i always leave satisfied with my experience. I used to run a ups store in the past, and every time i come in the place is clean, the staff is attentive, and all my packages that I've sent have all arrived undamaged and on time. These guys run a good professional store. Even though there price is a little bit high, you get the extra care and attention that you are paying for. Will not help you print the UPS shipping labels. They make you pay $3/min to log into a computer and then pay per sheet. Also do not help you carry your boxes and the door to enter as you carry your heavy boxes without help is "pull".
