I have been coming to this location for several years now doing package drop offs. i have my own business and this store is near me. I go many times during the week with a good amount of shipments and the service is always great. i bring my packages in and the guys scan them immediately. All the employees are great! read more

This store is horrible!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! This is the first review I've ever written in my life and I've delt with many rude places! I went in last week to send 2 packages back to sellers. I got a message today that the seller received the wrong item and cannot refund me my money. I called the store and spoke to 2 very incompetent people. The result is they said it's not their problem and "it was just a mistake unfortunately". I paid that day for the services and also $200 for the item I returned. The guy told me today that there is nothing they can do and then asked me to wait on hold while he "helped somebody out in the store". UNREAL. Do yourself a favor and drive a little further to the next UPS store with people who actually know what they are doing! read more

The people that work here are rude! They lack customer service and professionalism. I'm sure they deal with all types of people, but that doesn't mean you should be unkind or cold towards everyone. I have little to no issues when returning packages at other locations. When I visit this location, I get an overwhelming feeling of anxiety and ridicule. I have never once left here happy or helped. They almost always have an issue with the way I package my items, or they will charge me $0.50 for 2 inches of tape. Fine I get we have to pay for tape, but it's the way they tell you about it. I'd almost rather talk to an AI robot than deal with their lack of empathy or compassion. I could go into this store confident that everything is packaged correctly and taped right and then I leave with the package still in my hand. I thought it was a UPS drop off store and I thought employees would be willing to help. Honestly go anywhere else if you can! To the workers, I think you'd get better reviews if you remembered to treat EVERYONE with kindness and realized most of us don't know how to properly package our items. We are trying our best and it would be nice if you kindly told us our options instead of clapping them back at us like we yelled at you or treated you unkindly. You get what you give in this type of situation, but you are dealing in customer service and are supposed to be there to help us. I have never felt helped in this store. I work food service and have dealt with some rude customers, but I have always been professional and kind even if they didn't deserve it. I also don't expect my customers to read the fine print because we all read over that. In a perfect world, everyone would read the instructions and package their items properly, but this world isn't perfect. Have a little compassion and understanding, especially during the holidays! read more

These reviews must be old because for the last year i've been coming here to return amazon packages- and I return A LOT - 1/2 times per week. If your amazon return says "customer packed" - PAY ATTENTION - customer packed means packed & sealed - "ready to ship". Don't blame these guys because you don't read instructions! read more

The UPS store in West Milford, NJ has changed hands. Unfortunately for the worse, they are abrasive and rude. I for one will not be using that location. It's a shame because the previous staff was proper to their customers. read more

I dropped off several packages for return to Amazon and one package going elsewhere. They appear to scan everything but apparently did not. On package was never scanned. I went in to discuss the possibilities of what could have happened to the package, specifically whether it could have been mixed in with the Amazon returns. They would not answer that question specifically only telling me that I never dropped a package off. I kept asking the same question and they got obnoxious and belligerent. read more

Do NOT come here to get anything notarized. My dad signed and dated a document in front of the notary and the date was incorrect. The notary did not notice it, sealed it, charged him and then CHARGED him again when my dad pointed out the mistake and had to do it again. Two months later, my husband filled out a passport document in blue ink accidently. The notary did not look over the document, also signed in blue ink, sealed it and charged him. When I went back to politely ask what could be done since it was now invalid, perhaps doing at again at no charge, I was told that "it is not the notary's responsibility to make sure they sign in the correct color ink." Bottom line, they sign, seal and charge you. They don't look over anything, verify anything, or take any responsibility for doing their job accurately. Good luck! read more

Worst customer service ever! Made a quick run to drop off small cigar size box for Amazon. Rude guy said 25 cents for tape ,, What?? I didn't even have cash on me and they made me drive back home in a snowstorm to get the 25cents. I overheard them giving a nice elderly lady a hard time also. Just bunch of rude workers. read more

Agree with other reviewers regarding customer service being really bad at this location. These guys were really unfriendly and bordering on just plain rude! They were unwelcoming and not helpful at all. I'll drive miles out of my way to go to another location before going here ever again. Good luck if you go but I don't recommend it. read more

Past reviews from 2020, 2019, etc, indicate employees were rude, incompetent. I could not disagree more. I have always been impressed with their professionalism, speed, and diligence. I once dropped off a package to be shipped (pre-labeled) for my Wife. The counter person informed me the label was for the post office within 1 second of putting it down. He was right. I will say that all UPS stores are over priced, but they are also extremely convenient. read more

My mom always said, "You get what you get and you don't get upset". But each time I go in here, I walk out upset. Lack of customer service skills and professionalism will keep me from returning. I'd rather drive out of my way and go somewhere else then to have non-existent customer service skills from the people who work here. read more

I note that the negative reviews are from years ago. Probably should be taken down. During the pandemic season when it was nearly impossible to have family gatherings, all gifts had to be sent. I found the service at the Kinnelon location to be excellent, with great advice on how to ship with the lowest cost and still have merchandise arrive expeditiously. Everything arrived at the destinations on time and in good shape. When a couple of Amazon packages received by me had to be returned, the process at Kinnelon UPS was quick and easy. I have to agree with the bad reviews. This place has by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They are unfriendly rude and not helpful at all. Do yourself a favor avoid this place and use Staples. Or better yet use the post office to mail any packages. read more

Most unfriendly store! The people that work in this location are the most unfriendly people I have seen in retail. The attitude must come from the top because even the apparent manager is very unfriendly. Everyone that has waited on me over many occasions goes through the motions and says only what is necessary to handle your business. Go in and see for yourself. Despite the Amazon offer for free packing when you take a return to the UPS store our local Kinnelon establishment charges you for the TAPE they use if your package is not sealed. Even though Amazon says free our store says take or leave it. If you have a return you're better off taking it to Kohl's. Just another example of why you should go somewhere else. You'd think I would have learned my lesson. read more

I've been coming to this location for many years. I've never had an issue. I've done packages, mailings, color copies, Black and white copies and even emailed to them be printed. I take professionalism very seriously and Ive always felt the staff are very professional. Always been patient with me and other customers that I've witnessed. Wait time is very short. Surprised other people had an issue but I feel this store is up to par. read more

BEWARE - they charge more than the legal fee for notary services. i was charged $5 for one seal (the legal rate is $2.50) and when i asked why, i was told it was $3.50 for the seal (1 dollar over the legal rate) and $1.50 for "service fees". on top of that, the notary seal was not readable and was placed over important information in the document, which made the document null and void. read more

Complete thieves!!! Charged me $3 to fax three pages and I was not happy then I had to return only because another immediate fax needed to be made and this time brought 4 pages. They charged me 6.25 !!!! I flipped and they tried telling me I was undercharged last time. Did you know they also charged me a quarter for asking for a piece of tape once? They should be ashamed. Wow. What an experience. The man that runs this shop should not be in this type of business. I sent a $21 fax to my child's summer camp and I was given a confirmation that it was sent. The camp called me the next day to inform me they did not receive the fax. I returned to the UPS Store to have it resent. I was given a different number by the camp to try. The man running the UPS Store decided to give me lecture about why he should charge me again for resending a $21 fax that was never received. He had absolutely no regard for me as a customer. Why would I want to come up and resend a fax just for grins. Then because he was not listening to me, the customer I told him that I would never come and use his services again. He said he would call the cops on me if I ever came in his shop again and wrote my plate number down. I told him doesn't really need to worry about me coming back because I only will use shops that respect their customers. Why anyone would use this guy is beyond me. First package I sent was for 2 day air delivery, it took 3 days to arrive at its' final destination. The second package I sent was also for 2 day air delivery, it took 5 days to arrive at its' final destination. The third package I sent over night mail, it did arrive the next day at it final destination. Package number two is the reason why I can only give three stars after all I paid for 2-day air. I admit I only wanted to give two stars but did not want to come across as being too hard. read more

complete thieves is right!!! i was in a rush so i stopped there to ship a box and he charged me over $40. i said that was a lot for such a light package, and he said it was going far. when i got home i checked ups estimated rates on line--$14. i will never go back there nor should you!!!! they do not even deserve one star, but that was the lowest i could rate them. read more
