Every day I asked could I please make an appointment with him because I never seem to catch him and I kept missing him. I went in every day for a week. He never showed up. I would stand around and sit my car and wait for up to an hour each day for this locksmith to show up. Every day I asked the girl at the front counter if I could make an appointment to meet him since he was always out on a call. She told me no they do not take appointments. Today I went in and I was told that he would be back in 20 minutes so once again I waited. I was waiting from 12:15 PM until almost 130 when he finally showed up. I gave him my key he quoted me a price, I excepted it. He told me it would take 30 minutes to make my key. I said that's fine I have to go pick up my son. He said fine it'll be ready in half an hour. I left and went back almost 40 minutes later and it was still not done. When I did show up to pick up my key he was standing in the back eating a sandwich. He said to me I'll be with you in two minutes and proceeded to go out of the store with another woman to work on her car. When he came back in 15 minutes later, mind you my autistic son was sitting in the store with me waiting for my key. But when he finally came back in another 25 minutes had passed and my son was getting anxious. I said to him that I needed to get out of there can I please have my key. He launched into a tirade of screaming at me that I was the worst kind of customer because all I did was nag. He said he's giving me back my key and to take my business elsewhere and have someone else do ir. He told me I was stupid and obnoxious. He told me I was rude and obnoxious because I asked for my key after all of this waiting, after all of this time. His own employees behind his back we're telling me how obnoxious and rude he was. I told him that I would've made an appointment for this but I was told by the girl at the front desk that they do not take appointments. Meanwhile he is screaming at me that the woman's car he's working on made an appointment. that same woman confirmed that she had made an appointment. Yet I was told over and over again by his own employee that he doesn't make appointments. I don't understand how if you don't take appointments how he is working on an appointment and can't make my key. What a load of bullshit. They are rude obnoxious and overall pretty stupid in this place and I will never ever go there again. Beware they are horrible. This is a crappy way to do business and I have never ever been spoken to in this manner in the business establishment. I am absolutely flabbergasted not only that but my son was there and getting more anxious by the moment from all of the screaming. I had received an email that needed to be printed and overnighted immediately. While my hotel offered a place to print, they were unsure where I could find a local Fed Ex store. I didn't have a car with me so the stress on a Saturday was quickly rising as to how I would meet my deadline, when my daughter suggested calling Postal Connections. I am recently a new customer to their store so new, they don't know me. I took a chance and called. I was able to email them my letter. They printed it for me and then packaged & Fed Ex'd it for me all while I sat poolside never having to hunt down a local Fed Ex. It was selfless in that they were busy but they understood my desperation and literally jumped into action. I will be a forever customer now. Their staff is incredible!! After sending many emails and not hearing back from anyone, I decided to do a Yelp blast and Michele was the first person to respond. Even though she's based on Staten Island, we were able to work out a time to meet up in the city for both drop off and pick up of my items. Throughout the entire process, Michele was amazing. She is incredibly attentive to detail, really cares about producing quality work that would fill her clients with joy, oh, and she happens to be the world's biggest sweetheart. As she worked, she contacted me to show me her progress and when I saw the place cards she made for my husband and me, I totally ugly cried some tears of joy! It was such a beautiful and surreal moment! Her prices are also so incredibly reasonable and transparent! I will definitely be working with her again in the future!

She walked me through some options I hadn't considered (paper quality, color of ink, title, additional flourishes) without being "salesy", and she had a quote to me that evening. Her prices are comparable to other quotes I received, plus packing/shipping. I initially hoped I might be able to pick up the piece in person, but Michele is based in Staten Island and told me this during our first call. I appreciated that Michele was up front about her location, and I was happy to pay the packing/shipping fees. Michele put a lot of care into the packaging--the piece was placed within a cardboard mailer, inside more cardboard, inside a waterproof mailer with "Do Not Bend!" written on it multiple times. I went from contacting Michele on 12/11 to having the piece in hand on 12/17. I highly recommend her!
