The crates stack up very neatly, unlike cardboard boxes, and are much easier for the movers to move. The drop-off and pick-up were punctual and flexible. We originally booked for two weeks - took one week to pack, two days to unpack. BoxUp was able to pick up the crates early and get them out of our way. Reuben did the drop-off and pick-up and was very professional. BoxUp also conveniently offers other packing material to be delivered with the crates. The green wrap was perfect for small pottery pieces, and the bubblewrap was great to protect art. Looking forward to booking BoxUp again when we have to move!

I have to move in a couple weeks. I need boxes in which to put stuff so I can have my stuff at my…read morenew place. I can't get these boxes by going by supermarkets, I need real boxes that have never been used. It's not me, it's my stuff - none of my things like to be anywhere where food, livestock or various sundries have been first. I have ordered from U-line in the past, but their shipping is outrageous, almost as much as the whole order. I did a little Google search and found suppliesformoving.com. At the time of the order, I had no idea they were in Brooklyn. The site is clean and all the information is readily accessible. One can guarantee that this website did not cost a lot of money, but it works. One of the best things about this company is that they have pre-prepared packages of boxes, tape, etc. divided by room and/or rooms which makes it a little easier. They have boxes for junk, boxes for tvs, boxes for lamps - are you following me here? They have supplies for moving - tape, blankets, plastic wrap, paper. So I go online and make my order (FREE shipping by the way on everything!) and expect it to come in a couple days according to the site. After the confirmation of sale is where it gets good. 30 minutes pass and I get a call from the company saying they can deliver today, the same day, in the late afternoon. OK. One hour later I get another call that they can deliver right now. Yes please. Approximately three hours after I ordered many, many boxes, they arrived in perfect shape. Having no idea this company was in Brooklyn, I guess I should consider myself lucky. The customer service was fantastic and the boxes have been working just fine. If you want quick, efficient service and if you want to get your supplies to pack and move in an instant, go to suppliesformoving.com.* ________________________ * If all of the bottoms of the boxes break while moving, damaging all of my kids' toys and my valuable possessions, I reserve the right to come back and be extremely agitated.

So first-off, convenience is a HUGE plus for us, but overall, it's the personal aspects of dealing with this family owned and operated business that really cinches the deal. For the most part, they have everything we need in terms of our packing supplies, but if they don't, --even if they can't get it-- they're more than happy to direct me to a manufacturer who deals in whatever corrugated product (and more) that I'm looking for. For me as a small business owner, there is true value in finding another business who can deal with me as a small operator with as much attention as (I assume) they do with their larger customers. Don't even get me started on the Red-Box, Blue-Box gummed tape.

Trident Movers is THE BEST moving company in NYC…read more I wasn't given a move-in date until the very end of the month and was getting quotes for $700 and $800 from every other moving company. On top of that I told by other companies that they had no more availability on the days I was trying to move. I saw Alex posted an ad in a Facebook group so I gave him a text. He responded instantaneously asking for my move-in details and got a quote to me very fast. For two hours at my move size (small-ish with stairs) it cost $450 and it's an additional $75 for each additional 30 minutes. George and George showed up to move me and were right on time. They sent me a text before arriving and honestly I was expecting them to be late based on my other moving experiences. I had everything boxed up and ready to be taken down the stairs so they got to work immediately. I had a mattress bag but love that they offer mattress bags, rug bags, and other moving materials free of charge. George and George worked so fast, listened to every detail, and were super friendly. Not only did they finish within the two hour window, but they were done about 20 minutes early. George and George deserve a raise, they were drenched in sweat and really went above and beyond in a typically stressful situation! I'm also happy to report that nothing was damaged and they worked with me to place all of my items exactly where I wanted them. If you're looking for a mover, look no further! This company made the stressful task of moving much easier.
