After going through lots of reviews, I decided on this Greenwich Village Mail Center,which I am so glad I did! First of all, the service itself is impeccable. Especially for mail box service, all mails are kept safe even I sometimes go to retrieve after over a month long vacation (and this time with this corona virus outbreak) ! If I get a package delivered, they will send you their own tracking via e-mails so I can track that specific package using password. You can drop off mails and boxes to be mailed with easy and fast ! If I have any question, I can send them e-mails to communicate anytime! Secondly, and more importantly, the customer service in person is even better. I just love going in there to get my mails and say hello to them :) The gentleman who runs this place is just so easy to get along with. He and his staff are also so understanding and always willing to accommodate you. Over the years of my life in NYC, this place has become my stable place. We worked with Rafael (i believe) and he helped us for over an hour and over two days emailing, chatting and just keeping the good vibes going as we delt with this annoying task. Came in today to ship a couple of guitars back to Amazon (you really do get what you pay for when…read moreit comes to guitars) and was greeted by Justin who helped me get everything done quickly and efficiently. Justin is apparently the subject matter expert on Amazon returns. He helped me print out my return shipping labels, affix them to the packages and even had the hazmat stickers ready. I didn't have to cut or tape anything. He even assisted with slipping in the return label I had forgotten to place inside one of the packages. All things that I could've done myself which I was expecting, but he was more than happy to help. I was in and out in minutes and walked across the street for some grocery shopping. I used to dread my Amazon returns, but this location has made it so easy that I've gotten a new confidence in my purchases. When I showed them that the price online was only $127, they suddenly dropped it to $197. I accepted because I urgently needed the package delivered. They assured me it would arrive by 09/11-09/12. Now the tracking shows it's not scheduled to arrive until 09/23. When I called the store for help, they gave me zero assistance. All I got was, "just wait". They charged me nearly $200, promised me a delivery date, and now the package is still not here when I needed it the most. This store is irresponsible, misleading, and only cares about charging you money upfront. Once they get your payment, they wash their hands and blame "the delivery." Nobody tells you the truth, and they don't take responsibility for anything. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, stay away from this UPS Store. They act more like scammers than professionals.
