Had a very important presentation in Bolingbrook requiring a high-quality print job (10 decks x 65+…read morepages) From past experience, I wasn't willing to take it to a low-grade... high-priced like a FedEx Kinkos (where they run their machines to the ground with little maintenance). I needed a deck where a client sees it... is impressed... signs on the dotted line quality (like what you see in a commercial). Chris & Julie went above and beyond. When I sent the file toward the end of their work day (5pm), they still made time to jump on a call and review the file. They even made proper recommendations (heavier weighted paper, spiral binding) to improve the final presentation. And this IS the most important part.... they fulfilled their promises (calling me back, sending me pics of any issues) and obligations (delivering on time) without issue I didn't start with they're awesome pricing (cheaper than Fedex Kinkos) for a reason, their customer service is priceless! I had contacted the minute man location in Hickory Hills that was closest to one of my siblings. The lady that answered, picked up and simply said "Hello". For a moment I thought I had contacted a residential line, as she didn't answer with the name of the business. When asked about the printing job needed, she stated we are NOT doing any printing right now. Before we could ask was it all locations, she hung up! The next closest location that showed on Google was Countryside. I called, spoke with Chris and tried to explain what was needed. I asked what time they close, and it was almost close to that time. We were about an hour away. When it was close to that time and we were still about 25 minutes away, I called Chris again and he said, 'no worries I will wait for you'! This was me and my siblings very first time having to prepare an obituary for our youngest sibling who passed away in an auto accident at the age of 21. I myself didn't know that paper could weight 180 pounds. Chris took the time to explain the various weights to me for the obituary,and the style of obituary we were trying to achieve. There was not one question that could not be answered by Chris or Julie. In fact, Julie pointed out exactly what was needed and Chris agreed. If you should ever need anything that this business can do, please allow them the opportunity to help. I stepped in, and instead of reasoning with me, or at least turn the machine on, she tells me it's going to be sometime before she can assist me, as the machines were still off. Manager couldn't even handle a simple task of turning all machines on, not even the employee at the register could step in and turn them on, instead just on her phone waiting To be interrupted by someone like me. As she takes 30mins to actually attend me, 1hr later, its. As if this is her first day on the job, training is horrible starting with the manager, everyone should know how to step in. Then she ruins my order, instead of finding another solution, she just tells me what would be a better solution, it took her another hour to complete 3 prints, I was there for 2 hours with continuous mistakes. She saw me cry with frustration, still trying to assist other clients, in between, why can't they wait an hour like I did?! They have to find a better solution, sign in sheet, more employees, better training, manager should be fired.
