What amazing service from this UPS store! We came to this location after the one in Melbourne was unable to help us. We've used this spot in Eau Gallie before for our shipping needs (and were very happy with the service provided) so as a last resort at the end of a long day, we decided to try them again. We are so glad we did! They shipped a unique chair to California and Emma pulled all the stops to make it happen, all with a super friendly & can-do attitude. Quick service but I've had better service at the post office. I walked in to one employee scolding his co-worker. Then I got scolded for not taping one of my packages. It's not what you say but how you say it. Next time, I'll use the pack and ship by walmart. The "businesses owner's" response to my review is another example of the condescending approach that this UPS store uses towards customers. Stopped in to print a resume for a job interview. I wanted 4 copies of a two page resume. The guy at the front informed me it would be somewhere around 10 dollars because he had to charge me to use the computer. Ummm no other ups has ever done that before. I asked if I could email it to them to print and he said that requires a fee as well because I'm requiring them to use internet. Never mind I'll go to staples or the other UPS thanks.... As you see the owner responded and didn't even read my review correctly. 4 copies of a two page resume NOT FOUR PAGES that would be 8 PAGES SMH! I will not remove my review as this is what happened. The manager of this store is a mess. She has no time to manage the store or its employees and will refuse to push a claim through. It is the responsibility of the store to deal with claims and this store will be very selective of whom they help. I would take my business anywhere else. I had paid $1300 for a item to be packed and shipped by this store. The item arrived damaged. It's been 6 months and still no resolution. Kat, the employee who manages the claims is of no help and keeps blowing off the claim or saying it was closed out. Nobody has a clue what is going on. This is an incredible store the staff is helpful and friendly. The gentleman inside his name is Dale is helpful and friendly explain the policies of packing tape and whatnot because my package needed more tape and I was informed that due to cost if I wanted them to repack it I would have to pay for the tape or I can go to another store and buy my own tape and do it myself but I totally understood the process because if you look at everybody bringing in packages and they supplying the tape it could get expensive for the store and it is a business so I totally understood it he did do it for free since it was my first time there and I appreciate it. The store is very professional and clean and I recommend it for anyone who needs there package to get to where it needs to. BTW my family received it's package and all in one piece read more

Shipped a package, which the buyer received heavily damaged. Filed claim with them as I had paid for insurance. Horrible follow up. I had to call multiple times and continually email them to get any kind of response. After over a month they denied my claim even though the item was packaged extremely well. I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to the gentleman working at the UPS store beachside Eau Gallie. My mom's beloved dog had to be put to sleep and we needed a larger box to bury him in. Needless to say I was a slobbering mess when I went in to see if he could make a box. He made the perfect size and even reinforced the sides. Stupid expensive. Wanted $260 to ship two packages and FedEx shipped them for under $60. Don't waste your time.

Went to this location to ship a package of presents to my sister's family in Orlando. I had the presents in my own box that filled up about 1/2 way. So, I asked how much it would be to ship in their box, or if it was cheaper to use my own. The employee first told me it should be about $20 and change to ship it in my box. I then asked her again, how much it would be to ship in their box, she disappears and comes back to tell me it would be about $32 to ship in their box. I said I would like to ship it in my box, as it was less. So she starts ringing it up and the total came out to $34. At this point another employee got involved. After some back and forth, explaining the situation, he worked out it would be $36 to ship in their box. At this point, fed up with their incompetence, I left the store with my parcel. Only after I arrived home did I find they had damaged the wrapping on 3 of my 7 packages! I rewrapped the packages, cut down my box, and repacked it and off to USPS I went. Grand total for USPS to ship the parcel. $10.20. These people are incompetent and horrible. It was totally worth my time to stand in line for 15 minutes to save $20+. read more

I live nearby, and had planned to rent a mailbox there for my business, so I continued to go there until a final experience with the MOST INCOMPETENT, RUDE AND BELLIGERENT UPS EMPLOYEE EVER made me vow never to return. Trust me, it will save you time, money, and great aggravation if you AVOID THIS PLACE and use the nearby Wrap n' Pack store in WalMart Plaza instead. The Wrap n' Pack owners work there, offer UPS and other services, are pleasant, helpful, courteous, and have been there for 25 years. My latest experience at this Eau Gallie UPS location in Melbourne Beach, FL was the worst of my entire life. I was trying to send an urgent overnight letter to the IRS and also rent a mailbox for my business, but ended up being screamed at by a young, blonde, male employee who wouldn't help out a new coworker, screwed up a simple mailing label three times, then called the police to throw me out of the store when I insisted that he correct his mistakes and send my urgent letter. The incident occurred because a new employee didn't know how to change and print a UPS shipping label. This young man should have stood next to her and helped her until she learned how to do this by herself, but instead he left her calling for help while he hid in the back avoiding a store full of customers. I had given her an envelope addressed to the IRS, including a long-format zip code essential to make sure it was received by the proper department. The first UPS label she printed was wrongly addressed to a hotel I had sent a parcel to a month before. The return address was also wrong. I politely told her these things were wrong and asked her to fix them. She couldn't do it and kept calling out to someone in the back room for help. When the mystery helper finally emerged, he was screaming at the top of his lungs at me, claiming I had been rude to her. He then re-sent the (incorrect) label to the printer and dashed into the back again. The young woman affixed the new (incorrect) label to the UPS envelope without showing it to me, then sealed my own addressed envelope inside. I was pretty sure the UPS label was wrong again, but the young woman insisted it was right and didn't want to let me open the UPS envelope to check the UPS label against the addressed envelope inside. When I insisted, sure enough, the zip code on the UPS label was still wrong, making this the second time it was done incorrectly. At that point, I was very irritated and told the young woman that since she was new on the job, this was a good opportunity to remember not to seal an outer envelope before letting the customer check the UPS address label against the one on his/her own envelope inside. The label now needed to be printed a third time, so the woman went into the back to get the blonde guy. When he came out AGAIN after about ten minutes, he refused to admit or correct his OWN mistake and tried to stop his colleague from redoing the label. He started screaming "Get out of here NOW! Go to the f*cking post office! We don't want your business. I am refusing you service." When I said I wanted to speak to the manager, he said there was no one to call, continued to scream at me and again ordered me to leave. I had now been there for more than an hour, having waited 25 minutes to be served in the first place, and I wasn't about to leave without posting my letter. So this guy ran into the back again, leaving a roomful of customers waiting in line, and secretly called the Melbourne Police. He hid in the back until they arrived, then barreled out of the back room screaming at them to drag me off the premises, which they obviously had no intention of doing. Then he screamed at the new employee, ordering her not to wait on me. The police stood in front of me and prevented him from reaching me, then told him to stop screaming at us and stayed there while the new employee finished the job and took my payment. She was very upset and kept telling the police that this guy didn't "usually" act like that. I was quite happy to leave the store but was so angry that I almost went to the police station to file charges against this person, but I decided not to waste any more of my time on him. The next person he belligerently attacks and offends may not be as nice as I am. At least I hope not. Final notes: The manager of this location is never on the premises no matter what time you go. They also advertise notary services, but one lady who was in line on the day of the above incident told the rest of the customers she and her husband had been there SEVEN times in the last 10 days trying to get something notarized. read more
