Do not go there for your printing needs. We were planning our daughters wedding and needed some posters printed and placecards. Got a price at Fed Ex. but thought I would stay local as Amanda said she could fill my needs in time. I sent her the info and was very hard to communicate with. I finally got my posters and placecards the day before the wedding!!! The 4X6 poster was far from perfect and let me know on Thurs. night (wedding on Sat.) at 10:36pm. I had to accept the poster as is---she did take some money off. But I really had no choice as we are 1 day till wedding. I went to the store to pick up my order and the placecards font was so small---you could hardly read it!! This again was so unacceptable but I had no choice as the wedding was the next day. We had to make labels and put over the place cards to make them readable. I insisted when she make me new ones as this was not acceptable, but she said that it was going to take 2 days. I will NEVER go there for any printing needs AGAIN!! The gentleman that works there most of the time...is very kind and helpful. I am looking for a manager so I can discuss this issue with her...but right now we have a wedding...which this had put so much stress on our happy day!!! read more

Not too long ago I gave this store a 5-star review, based on the exceptional level of customer service and expertise. We used to use this store for printing and shipping, but since changing ownership the service and reliability has declined significantly. Just today I checked status of a Next-Day Air shipment, which happened to be a proposal due to a customer by noon, and I discovered that the package never left the store! Not only did they neglect to send it out on Saturday, but they also failed to see the package sitting there this morning! Fortunately, I was able to retrieve the box myself and deliver it just minutes before the deadline, but had it been going to another city I would have been out of luck. I will not use this store again, and I would caution anyone needing assurance of proper printing and shipping services to avoid the nightmare I just experienced by finding a more reliable store. read more

Last week, I went to the Hastings, MN UPS store for an Amazon return but I had already thrown away the box the return originally came in. So I asked the woman working if she could package it for me. She gave me the heads up that due to the length of the product I was returning, it was going to cost around $30 to pack it for me. The product was only $64 and I didn't want to lose half the value on packaging so she thoroughly told me how to package it with the spare boxes I had at my house. I took it back home and repackaged it. I ran out of tape before I could finish it completely. I brought it back that night to the UPS Store and intended to buy some tape to finish it but the same woman complemented me on my handy work and said they'd seal it up from that point. There was a younger male worker who took my package (with a smile!) and got to work on finishing it up. Now this was during the busy Christmas rush and they were as patient and kind and helpful as a person could ever be. I appreciated the advice for packaging and I'm happy to report that I received my full credit from Amazon so it must have made it in perfect condition. We have used this store to send packages with no problem to our daughter in Belfast. We sent a pair of shoes to her in mid August and received them in our mailbox last week. We have been to the store 2x today and still no one is able to help us with our $123.00 expense. All we have heard is that 'we need to contact customs' and 'wait until the manager comes in today'. So far, we are out the $123.00 and still have the shoes. If they (UPS) make amends to our satisfaction (return our money or ship the shoes again), I will update this post. read more

The was once our go to shipping spot but after ownership changes it is so flawed we can't stand it any longer.The last straw was a shipping request for a gift to a grand daughter in Kentucky. They wanted to charge us $46 for the same item and delivery date the the post office shipped perfectly for $6. Enough terrible customer service in the last few months to last a decade. read more

We needed to ship a package to Denmark. They gave us a cost of $322. We came back home and checked the price of UPS online and it was $70. We called them back and asked why there was such a big difference. The person said "That is how much we charge for sending" So they are out to rip you off. Thank You local USPS for the flat rate shipping boxes on international service. The final rate at the post office was $66. The post office came through. read more

I have used the UPS store in Hastings a few times since I have moved to Minnesota the staff are great no complaints there and the notary service is excellent. What i knocked 2 stars off for was the price they charge for USPS priority and priority express and also their own UPS prices are more inflated than doing it online with UPS or going to the post office with USPS. I was sending a USPS flat rate envelope there last week the price she quoted me was $36 at the post office the price is $19.99 or $18.11 if you do it online. But you do get a great service here. read more
