One of the nicest stores, and probably one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of meeting. I had my Private Mail Box set up in under 15 minutes, no stress and none of the usual chaos you deal with when starting a business. Nine times out of ten, this process turns into hours of frustration because of all the documents you need, but the owner was genuinely friendly, patient, and walked me through everything step by step. Honestly, I was stressed going through my paperwork because of everyday life stuff, and when I walked in I thought I had everything squared away and thought it should only take 5 minutes which was a mistake because nothing really takes 5 minutes when your setting up something for the first time. The owner noticed, and regardless of how busy it was, he took time out of his day and helped me look through everything after I patiently waited and asked for assistance with the documents I did have. Before I knew it, I was out the door with a brand‑new mailbox and one less thing to worry about as I start my next business venture. It's rare to find service this honest, this helpful, and this human. lesson of the story: I assumed it should have taken 5 minutes, but in reality it took 15 minutes and I left with new knowledge, knowing what I have to do to set up a new mailbox anywhere in the states now! 5 out of 5 stars, if there was a 6th I'd give it easily! - A Retired Vet read more

This was the worst experience! You get a tracking number that don't have the full tracking number we call up there. It goes right to voicemail. Finally got through and the girl says let me check into this and I'll get back to you two days. Haven't heard back from her these people just don't care call back again today right to the voicemail with no return phone call. I will never give this facility any business again actually they need to be shut down. I will take my business elsewhere! Rip off people ! Actually, they don't even know how to spell read more

First time visiting this UPS store. The store was very nice, very clean! When I entered the store, a young lady was helping another customer, no problem, I wasn't in a hurry, but a young man came out to the other register and helped me very promptly. Very good customer service!!! Very polite! He scanned my QR code and took my box and that was it! Very easy and pleasant experience!!!! read more

Very friendly staff, no line and super clean store. My package was ready to ship in about 15 seconds. Wonderful!

The line was long but they were pleasant. They helped out in a timely fashion when I was at the counter. I should know not to go on a Saturday at one hour before they close. read more

The lady was very rude last time I went to return Amazon package. Was told I needed it boxed because they don't do it. Amazon said it's paid for that I don't have to. She was rude and short the entire transaction. This place needs new owners or to cut ties with Amazon contract or whatever they need to do because next time I won't be so nice. read more

The owner is rude. They do NOT abide by Amazon policy for returns. Even though your instructions tell you that you don't need package it, this store will not accept returns unless they're packaged. You're somehow expected to know this in advance. No other UPS store I've been to has this requirement. read more

Very frustrating location. Whenever I need a notary, they're never working. They don't seem to have regular hours either. I feel like they shouldn't advertise that they have notary services if a notary is not available during regular business hours! Like other reviewers, I've also noticed that the staff has often been rude and short with customers (not just me--everyone in line before me, too). Avoid stopping here if you can. Sometimes it's the only choice we have on this side of town! I wish the service was better here. read more

Terrible customer service... Was told by Xfinity to drop the equipment off and they would send it back as well as give me a receipt. Instead, UPS tells me I have to pay for a box.... really?! Do yourself a favor and go to Gettysburg or Westminster since they won't charge you per their agreement with Xfinity to return equipment. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. read more

I just want to say that this store has always had a bad reputation that was well deserved. The people working there were nasty, condescending and downright rude. This store has totally reinvented itself, the people are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful, in fact they are actually happy, smiling and give great customer service. I have been hard on this business in the past but want to give credit where credit is due. Please use this UPS Store. read more

Don't answer the phone, rude staff, notary is hit or miss...with no specific notary hours posted. Horribly slow.

Unlike most UPS Stores anywhere else, this one is only open until 6:30pm. However, they play cool music inside and all the staff I interacted with was friendly and speedy. read more

The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - Hanover, Pennsylvania

The man working there is extremely rude. As with other reviewers, I too was told that I next time I need to repackage my own Amazon returns (even though Amazon clearly says its not necessary) because "He doesn't get paid to package Amazon returns". Not my problem! I will NEVER go back to this store. read more

The manager/owner is very rude. I was told by Amazon that there is zero cost for a box and label for returns and the man wanted to charge me for a box. He has zero customer service skills and just all around is not a nice person to interact with. read more

This business knows that it is the only UPS store in Hanover, PA. Service is absolutely terrible and is not able to properly return Amazon packages so charges customers three dollars to print out return documents. Store is empty and people only patronize because there is no other place to go. read more

Almost every experience I have with this store is terrible. The man that works in there the majority of the time is a total jerk. They NEVER answer the phone. And if they did answer the phone, you might be able to find out before you go there that they don't actually take passport photos even though it's advertised on their website. Most of the time when I go there I have to wait several minutes before an employee emerges from the back. read more

the man who works behind the counter has been extremely rude on many occasions. i walked in there, doesn't come out for a few minutes then said "what do you want". i kindly said i just needed to make a return. he threw his hands up and got upset i was making an amazon return, proceeded to take my package and aggressively threw it behind him, handed me my receipt and walked away. i said thank you and was just ignored. please don't work in customer service if you act this way. this location is not even a mile away from my house, but in the future i will be traveling that extra 20 minutes to go to a different location. i do not recommend coming here read more

I wish I could give a zero star rating! I HATE going to this store because of the owner or manager, I'm not sure his status there. He is rude, confrontational, nasty and has no idea what the meaning of customer service is. I have gone to return items from Amazon and the Amazon app clearly says no packing needed to return. This gentleman has yelled at me twice about it I showed him where it says I do not need the packaging to return it he told me that Amazon does not pay him to repackage my item and send it back. He told me the next time he would charge me to repackage my item. I think this is completely ridiculous and I do not know why UPS would want a person like this man representing them. I have gone to many other UPS stores and have done the exact same thing without issues. In fact I have gone to the south Hanover UPS and a young lady has helped me and has been accommodating and polite. read more

I don't agree with the previous review. These UPS stores can't influence prices. Their rates come directly from UPS. This customer probably got confused with USPS. I have shipped from there often and find their service to be excellent and honest. Plus they are really nice unlike service I have received elsewhere in town. read more

I was very unhappy with the store. I try to go in there to find out how to return something and the person there was very unhelpful. I am not very tech savvy and this was the first time I had to return anything and I need a label printed. He told me I had to send the label through the email to his store for him to print it. Unfortunately I could not bring it up on my phone. read more

Have shipped through this UPS Store countless times and felt like I got good service, however I recently had taken a package into this store to be shipped via UPS Ground and was given a quote of $67.00 to ship. I took this same exact box to Parcel Plus in North Hanover and had it shipped UPS Ground for $19.75. Needless to say I will never ship via UPS store because they attempted to rip me off for $50 extra for the same shipping service. Now it makes me wonder how many other times I've been ripped off at this UPS store in the past! read more
