I personally use this store often. The staff has been patient, helpful and efficient. They process Amazon returns very quickly. The service here is better and wait times less than usps. This store owner is just as bad as his rude employee. Instead of apologizing and correcting a customer service issue he makes excuses and defends. I see I am not the only one that has an issue with all of the reviews on Google and Yelp. Again, his employee needs to be re-train regarding customer service and the printing software they are using. If there is a charge that is going to be made you should inform the customer what the charge is going to be and then ask the customer if they are ok with the charge. Then you proceed with the order from there. This will help with customer satisfaction. read more

I use this UPS for pretty much everything, shipping, returns, notary etc. it's in a super convenient location. However, that's where my praise stops. I would say 75% of the time they don't even great people when they walk in the door, they just stare at you. I've paid for tape, I've used their self return kiosk and I've experienced their lack of enthusiasm over and over again. Today however, was a new one for me. I used the self service kiosk for my returns (although there were 4 people doing nothing as I was the only one in the store) and when I asked where I could throw a box away they proceeded to tell me they couldn't help me. I said you don't have a trash can here, they told me no. You're telling me a UPS store doesn't have a recycling for boxes? I will be finding a new place to take my business, today is the last day that place (that I give money) makes me feel like a burden. read more

I've been planning a tenth birthday party for my dog who has lymphoma and only a couple weeks left. I decided to get her invites printed at UPS thinking it would be a seamless process and was excited to pick them up. I talked to Kyle over the phone sent what I needed over email. When I went to pick them up, as I'm paying I see they charged me a fee for cutting the invites, which I said over the phone I would do myself and specified in the email they should be printed side by side on the sheet. When I get home I see that the image I laid out on the invites is distorted and doesn't cover the full page. Given all of this, I decide to call immediately and request a refund. I'm connected to Kyle by Stacey who proceeds to treat to me very rudely and refuses a refund. I do not recommend this UPS store, this isn't the first time they sneak in expenses and their inability to accurately complete printing requests and show basic customer services skills is problematic. read more

Firstly, I have to say I'm shocked at some of the reviews I've read about this UPS. I just moved here, but I go to UPS three or four times a month. I always come to this location, and I can say that every time I'm here, ALL of the staff members treat me with the utmost respect. They're all extremely kind. I came here from a very large city, and you don't receive this kind of friendliness in a large metropolis. The staff bends over backwards to make sure that your needs are met, in a timely manner. Some reviewers complained about having to pay for tape. To them, I say that tape costs money, so if you don't want to pay for tape at UPS, do what I do and bring your own roll of tape. The same is true at post offices. It's not the business's responsibility to cover your expenses. I want to give a shout out to the owner Doreen (sp? sorry), and thank her for extending a warm welcome to me as a new resident in this community. Pro: friendly staff, they will waive the $1 tape fee if you say "just-in" and the bathrooms are great for crying in. Con: closed on Sundays, they will charge you for services and products not rendered, Boss is a bit egotistical, expect a wait because there are no more than three people working at any time, lines are long, and the franchisee owners are from York despite a sticker saying owned by a member of our Lancaster community. read more

Customer service is awful. The person behind the counter is rude and nasty and then gets upset when you give it back. The owner, Justin, never takes accountability and always places the blame on the customer or some other company. Instead of getting polite employees, they'd rather have employees who have no business being in customer service. Check the reviews on Google; nearly all of them are in regard to the terrible customer service and all of the replies from the owner are 100% blaming the customer. Reap what you sow. read more

Busy little place. I've been here several times for basic shipping needs and the staff is always friendly and attentive. The pricing is as you'd expect and the location is convenient for me. Only once have I needed packaging assistance, but that one time was for a complicated piece of equipment that they carefully packaged and shipped professionally. I am not from around here and so I don't have any resources to tape and cut a return label. Usually they come with orders but not this time. Back home I would've never been charged to put tape on a box. My return label was already printed but the associate still decided to charge me. Real lousy considering I'm not from here. Also came in the other day and my $1600 package was no where to be found and required two people to find... I use this store frequently due to proximity to my home. Often there is a wait to be served, sometimes an extra person appears from the back to help process the waiting customers. I had an average opinion of the store until my most recent experience returning several Amazon packages which did not need to be packaged or taped for shipment. I also had a Zappos return which was not taped shut (I assumed the same policy as Amazon), and they charged a dollar to place a piece of tape on the box. Obviously annoyed I left the store, the two women working there laughed and called "You're Welcome". It wasn't their policy, I realize that. Although, I've never been charged before either. I'm switching over to Fed Ex and returns at Whole Foods when available. read more

Absolute ripoff. The prices are just obscene to say the least. Went to send a letter in the mail today overnight. Cost was $38+. Even two-day was close to $30. The guy at the counter straight up lied to me about the prices being "normal", even though USPS is half or a quarter of these insane prices. He also quoted only the more expensive options (two-day "AM" service was quoted but not regular two-day). Disgusted not just by the prices, but by the sleazy customer service. I'm not saying UPS should send all their customers elsewhere, but IF a customer asks about alternatives don't stand there and lie to their face that next-day is the same price everywhere! read more

My wife and I came here to have two documents printed. When we arrrived, the young man at the counter was helping another customer, and he asked us, "What are you here for?" (Uh, not the way you talk to customers, sir.) We proceeded to tell him why we were there. We needed two separate documents printed that we had emailed the store in color on 28lb white paper. He asked if we emailed it to the specific store email that we didn't know about (Long story short...only the owner has access to the store email on the store website). We emailed it to the owners email and the associate didn't have access to that. It would have been nice if on the website, it listed another email for the weekend crew. While he was helping us he asked us if we needed them printed in color (We wrote that down in the email we sent them...great listener.) When our documents were printed, he started to check us out and told us that there would be a $2 charge for his time for use of the printer (for 20 seconds of actual work). I know UPS Stores are independantly owned and each store's pricing is different, but I worked for a UPS Store for two years, and that is just ridiculous. We ended up paying $3.65 for two color copies ($1.83 per copy). The young man who helped us was probably new on the job, so it wasn't his fault, but I will not be going back there again. If you have been going there for a while and like the service, that's fine. But if you are a new customer and need a UPS Store to help you, I would suggest going somewhere else. read more

I went to get my federal fingerprints done. Upon completion, i was told, after I had already paid the fee for the fingerprints, that if I wanted to get a receipt I had to pay an extra dollar. I entrusted Rick with shipping a beloved antique and a pile of other things across the country. He took care of my concerns with humor, professionalism, and skill. The shipment arrived in perfect condition, and the box was put together with ease of unpacking in mind. We have two businesses and both have been using the box service here for years as a secure way to receive mail and packages since the street address for our office has an open lobby where mail is left, right off the street. At this UPS, we are always treated with courtesy and a positive attitude, so much so that I usually bring gift cards or treats to everyone for the holidays.
