This Review is more about Amazon than the UPS Store If they had a zero, I would be given that rating. I purchased an item for our washer from Amazon. The item came in. I install it on my washer. It worked good for two cycles, then stopped working, to verify this issue. I put the old part back on. It started working, but still with the issue. About supplying hot water we then file a return claim were told to go to Rent-A-Center to return the item. I go to rent -a-center and was told they were out of supplies with Amazon so then I have to go to Gulf Shores the only UPS store in the area. I tried to return it there and was told I need a new QR code for them to accept it. I called the wife. she tried to get a new QR code. She tried ended up having to call customer service with Amazon. Once that was done, I was halfway home. She called me and told me that she now had the proper QR code to ship it through the UPS store. I went back and processed the return after 30 miles watching other people say they'll never deal with Amazon again cause they had the same issue. read more

While on vacation we placed an order to be delivered to this UPS store. The order was marked as delivered but it had never made it to the store. Instead it stopped at some UPS distribution location. The store personnel were not helpful and said to just come back the next day. I decided to call but after several attempts of getting no answer I gave up. When I looked back at the order it said it was being cancelled and returned because the recipient did not accept it. I never even saw the order and the store was no help in retrieving it from where it had stopped. read more

The parking lot is big since it's in a strip mall next to Rouse's and my favorite place for cream, Chocolate Corner, and is shared with a lot of other stores. They had a decent amount of shipping supplies needed to ship something if you don't already have a box or shipping supplies of your own. BUT their prices are pretty high e.g. $7 for some peanuts to put in a small box, seriously. The box prices are over way overpriced also. I've been in here a few other times, and it's never been all that busy and they can be fairly slow. I've normally in there no longer than 5-7 minutes, and that includes time spent conversing with the workers but if you are 2nd or 3rd in line it can take a while. Bottom line: it's good to have a local UPS store and it's really great if you package your own stuff and print your own labels. read more

Very rude and not helpful. I expected to be able to return an item after I was emailed a return label. The person behind the desk greeted me with I can't mail that without a box and you need to print out the label. I thought that is what they were there for. Just recently started using this store again after vowing to NEVER go again. Had an awful experience 4 years ago and left a review about how terrible it was. Decided to give a local small business another try as I just knew no one would keep such a terrible employee for long. Much to our delight it was wonderful. I took a faulty kitchen faucet to be returned to Amazon. The very rude guy at the desk told me it had to be in the original box and he turned it over and saw that it was in the original box and then proceeded to tell me that either I had to go buy tape and tape it up or he would charge me to do it. I have never in my entire year of living in Gulf Shores had to do anything but take the item in and I always say they will put it in a box and send it back. He insisted that he would not send it back until it was typed up so I had to pay him $4.35 for him to put four orfive pieces of tape on it. He was so rude and so condescending and if this is the policy for this family fun business I will drive to Orange Beach or Foley from now on read more

Most worthless ups store I have been to. Ups store do att returns. This one does but refused to process mine. I had a return shipping on a different package, they refused to take it as it wasn't taped. I bought tape and did it myself for them to again refuse it for some stupid reason. They take us mail, but I tried that and they refused it saying they aren't a post office. I think this ups store just refuses to to work. Made about 800 copies. Copier jammed and employee couldn't fix it. Wasn't able to give me a box for the copies I did get made.

After major confusion on a lost package, this shop demonstrated great follow through. They located my package and called me in a timely manner; telling me that they had found it. I appreciate the extra effort. If you have shipping needs, consider this store. read more

Excellent customer service. Rental computer is a little slow and mouse dis nor work very well.

If you want to be double billed use the on-line printing services from this shop. I submitted two sets of documents and paid for the printing in the store. Two months later I was billed again for the charge. Contacting the store only resulted in confusion. There is no store manager. The store employees do not claim responsibility for the on-line printing services. Be careful! read more
