First of all, I've yet to have an issue shipping through this store. Up until today I've also had no issues with Amazon returns. This afternoon I brought in an Amazon return without labels because I currently don't have a working printer. We've returned several items without shopping/return labels through this store and have never had a problem - until today. You see, if you are a Prime member Amazon covers all return costs. Today I was informed that I had to pay $1.89 [$1.75+0.14 tax] for having them print the return label AFTER they had me forward it to them through email and they had printed it. I was told that was standard and they've done it all along (they haven't). Since they already had my return in the back room and the guy up front seemed to be the type to call the cops if you so much as looked at him sideways I wasn't going to say anything further other than to mention loudly enough for the entire store to hear that it was a ripoff. After this transpired I immediately called Amazon to ask them about this in case it was a new policy that I hadn't yet read about and was told that no, it wasn't, and I should not have been charged for them to print a return label. They asked me for all details, including the store number, and said they'd handle it. In the meantime they refunded the amount I was charged for the return shipping label. So if you're dropping off an Amazon return and don't already have a label printed, DON'T allow them to charge you for printing the label. Amazon pays this expense, not us. They are not supposed to charge anything for an Amazon approved return. Get your package back and take it to another return center. read more

This UPS store is awful. The owner is very rude and has HORRIBLE customer service skills. He always seems annoyed, like he is bothered that you came in. Go to the UPS store on Furys Ferry. They are friendly, hard working, and helpful. This UPS store lost my business due to the owners bad attitude. read more

I do NOT recommend this UPS Store location at all. The Manager/Owner has horrible customer service skills and would not honor a refund or partial refund for a lack of information he did not disclose. After asking for a refund, he told me he couldn't do that. A couple came in and he made sure he stressed their "cheapest" option... meanwhile, we didn't get that type of service. This was our first time shipping such a heavy package and he gave us two shipping options, meanwhile online there were approximately 4-6 options. We paid almost $100 for shipping when we could have paid $35 if we would have known at that time. We called UPS and they informed me that it would be up to the store to issue any type of refund and I was hopeful that the store manager would honor that in good faith of being a business owner. I was highly mistaken. I do not recommend to anyone in the area to use this location for shipping needs! read more

After reading the preceding reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by the treatment I received when returning an Amazon purchase in March 2021. I was in and out in about a minute and staff was friendly and helpful. I learned a while ago that people who have negative comments are far more likely to give a business a poor rating than those with good ones. Just trying to even the score. read more

This location sent a package to the wrong address and refused to resend it at no cost. It cost me almost $30 to send a small parcel (a ring) to my mother for Mother's Day. They obviously mistyped the destination address by one number after hearing them read the error to me. To add insult to injury, I am on bed rest and was told that I still have to come in to the store to pay again for my package to be shipped or to retrieve it. I am highly disappointed in the service and the nonchalant attitude of the staff. They also need to do a better job of training their new employees to double check destination addresses. read more

I called this location and spoke with an employee at approximately 2:45 on May 8, 2020 - I did not get his name. I told him I had a tv to send back to Best Buy that had a pre-paid label on it ready to go. Normally, I would walk into the store and leave it, but I am staying with my in-laws who are in their 70's and do not want to take the chance of contracting Covid-19 and then giving it to them. I told the employee this and asked if he could come to the door and take it from me if I called when I arrived. He told me they had limited hours. That's it. He could not do it because they had "limited hours." He could not walk 10 feet to his door, take a 10-12 pound box and slide it to the location I would have left it had there not been a pandemic. This was the second UPS store to deny my request (the other was at 4115 Columbia Rd.). 30 seconds of his day to do the simplest of tasks for a legitimate reason, and I would have left a five-star rating. read more
