She then returned to the Amazon register, still not speaking and accepted my returns. At 4pm, after checking often for updates, I am notified the driver attempted delivery at 3:19! The proof photo was a blur, needless to say. And no door tag- because the guy never arrived. He lied. The FedEx tracking information stated it was left at my mailbox and had a picture of just my mailbox with NO package. I looked and there was no package anywhere, so I contacted FedEx and filed a missing package report. I contacted the shipper who I do a lot of business with, and they sent another package. Three days later I am driving home from town and find a large package leaning against my mailbox delivered by FedEx. This is not the first package that was supposably delivered but the second package that was sent by the shipper to replace it. I pulled up the tracking information and the driver stated, "left package at gated driveway" that is a LIE! I have lived here for over ten years and there has never been a gate or fence to prevent any deliveries to my house. The mailbox is over a hundred yards from my house and can hardly be seen. FedEx has always delivered to my house; this is just pure incompetence on the part of the driver, and they know they can do this because there is no accountability by FedEx. I have contacted the shipper and from this date forward all shipments will be through UPS or USPS and NOT FedEx.

The laundry machines aren't overly different from the other laundromats I've been to; the main differences were that this one was cleaner and more smoothly operated and that it cost more. The three laundry hampers I had cost around $20 to get cleaned and marginally dried, and one has to use their laundry cards to pay. It was a reasonably efficient process, and the water fountains and bathrooms were luxuries I've found absent at other laundry places. The automatic door is a big plus when you're hauling something. I couldn't find the wifi password and so didn't bother. I'd prefer not to be traveling for my laundry, and I suspect that's true of most people here, but for me it just makes the most sense and this was a passable way of fulfilling my need.
