I think this location has gone downhill. I never had an issue returning things to Amazon or shipping, but today the person at the counter looked at my returns and said "we only do 3 returns now". I didn't see that policy written anywhere and never heard it before, so either she was making lying or this location just won't do more than 3 returns. Came here to drop off some packages to ship today. There were no customers in the store, the clerk behind the counter greeted and helped me right away, and she was friendly and professional. It's nice to encounter team members who enjoy their jobs. The parking lot was super tight because of piles of snow but that's a seasonal issue. read more

So we visited this store about 3 weeks ago, online they offer a 10% AAA discount. What we didn't know was they only apply that discount to 1 package and not the 3 we brought in. Absolutely the worst customer experience I've ever had!!! DO NOT GO THERE. Save yourself the aggravation. read more

This place a few months ago would have been 3 stars based on the fact they would charge 1.00 to tape your box. I've been in multiple times since and they don't take this stance as of late. I'm sure if you abused it they would charge but they generally will take care of you. The staff is almost always friendly, it's always a very busy location, they work through the line quickly. Looks like the owner wants to assume that I didn't understand that the UPS store and UPS are two separate entities. By checked in, I mean checked into the UPS Store. I dropped off my package around noon, and it wasn't checked into your system until much later that evening - even though the employee told me we were good. Just two employees in the entire store on a busy Saturday with limited hours? Hardly customer-focused. Also, I am not a fan of their policy to not allow businesses to use their accounts in person. Apparently, if you have an account, you can only use it online. Their reasoning? Fraud. I forgot, there has never once been a documented case of online fraud. Ever. In the history of the internet. Nobody has ever hacked an account or done anything illicit online ever. Silly me. I think the biggest problem I had was, when this was explained to me, the attitude from the clerk was uncalled for. (Sigh), reading is fundamental. Adequate parking and this store has an array of supplies for shipping, business needs (copiers, fax & printing) & you can even drop off items to be mailed. They blamed me the customer for a next day air letter that was not delivered the next day. Basically the manger said it was my responsibility to check the representatives service information even after the representative confirmed to me the delivery time and guarantee. I had to pay twice to have my letter delivered. Very disappointed in the way the manager called to tell me that it was my fault and not theirs. They lied, blamed me and left me having to pay twice to get my letter to it's destination. I will not be using them anymore and that sucks since I have been using them for years. read more

We bring them stacks of boxes - we give this business *all* of our mail/shipping business - and yet they feel it's appropriate to alienate customers by nickel-and-diming for tape? I will NEVER EVER come back to this location. This woman is a disgrace. She has no idea what she's doing and her customer service is a joke. I came in today to pickup funeral programs that were ordered and paid for online. Not only were they not ready but they weren't even started. She didn't take time all day to check her online orders. Always fast and friendly. The people here deal with multitudes of aggressive unhappy people daily. I know because I am in there just about everyday shipping things for business. Folks that complain about paying a dollar to have their packages taped up should buy a damn roll of tape. I would bet they dont because it costs money. Nothing in life is free, they have to buy it and their job on a package that you didn't pay them to ship is to "ship" it, not prepare it. I think they do a great job of doing their job. Poor Service and expensive Visited at 9 am on the Monday before Christmas. Although the line was almost out the door, the ONE clerk arranged a card display, put out mailing tubes and even turned on a radio BEFORE serving the customers. When I heard the price she was quoting customers in front of me (guaranteed delivery rates with no mention that even their own signage said regular delivery would reach destinations by Christmas), several of us in line decided to use priority mail from the post office. This employees at this location know the meaning of customer service. I've taken an elderly friend to this location several times to mail things. The two younger male employees always come to the door and hold it open for her, carry packages in for her, help her fill out the forms to return things, etc. All of the employees are patient and friendly. Do not buy shipping insurance from here. UPS mandated rate is $.90 per $100, they wanted to charge $3.00 per $100. When I asked why such a discrepancy they said because the have to cover poor packing???? I was paying them to pack it !!! I rarely need to drop off packages or use ups services, but when I usually come here they offer friendly service and a nice attitude. NOT TODAY. Today I went with the intention of dropping off a very fragile package and the lady that serviced me (older, had the attitude of someone who's bitter with her life choices) was throwing around my package in front of me. When I asked her to "please be a little more careful" I was told to either purchase a better box or suffer the risk of consequences. She assured me that they WILL throw my package around as they do it all the time to everything else. So I went to this store on April 20th, 2018 to return two packages - one was an Amazon return with a prepaid label and the other a package I had to pay postage for. I was treated very well by the employee and left satisfied with my visit. Fast forward to today, April 26th, 2018... I have tracking information for the package I paid postage for and it is scheduled to arrive on time. My Amazon return, however, has no information available nor did I receive an email from Amazon stating that they have started processing my return due to me having dropped off the package for shipping back to them. I called the UPS store and spoke with Sadiqali, the Sales Agent, who asked for all of the tracking information about my package and stated he would have to get back to me on its location. He called me back and asked me to send him a picture of the label of my return so he could ensure correct tracking. I did as instructed and awaited the call back. Sadiqali called me back and states that the driver who picked up my package on April 14th at 7:43 pm lost my package and I would have to call customer service for further help. I told him that was impossible since my package wasn't dropped off until April 20th. He said that the tracking information I provided shows that it was picked up on April 14th at 7:43 pm. I looked up the tracking information myself. On April 14th at 7:43 pm my billing information was being processed due to that being the date and time I started my return request with Amazon. It was not the date I dropped it off, but the time the label had been created with UPS for return of my package. I became irate with the man for having lied to me about my information and repeatedly doing so. The store lost my package, not the driver. Do not blame someone else for your own mistakes. I will not return to this store anymore and just wanted others to know that you should always double check your packages and ensure they are scanned at time of drop off. read more

Walked in about 10 minutes ago to ship an item. I politely asked how I can print a shipping label from the store. Clerk takes me to a computer and mentions that there's a 21 cent fee per page. I say fine. I print the label, walk to the register... ...and then she tells me that there's a $3 fee for using the computer? I understand that there's a fee for using the computer. How else can a company maximize profit if they don't nickel and dime you? But if you can tell the customer that there's a per-page print fee, you damn well should tell them that there's a "computer usage" fee that is 10 times larger than the cost of printing the shipping label. When I refused to pay, they tried to intimidate me into paying, as if they had sunk an unrecoverable fortune to print 1 page. I politely said, "I'm not paying" and walked out. I'm going to give three stars because the lady and her assistant were very nice. However, they only get one and a half stars for competence. I had arranged for UPS to deliver my package to this location while I was at work. I went in to retrieve the package with UPS slip in hand and the tracking number. I handed her the slip. She had the assistant look for it and he came back empty-handed. So she said oh we only got three packages today and yours is not among them. So I went to my car to call UPS to see if I had gone to the wrong location. UPS said no your packages at 1123 N. Route three in Gambrills. So I went back in and told the lady that UPS said my package was here. She looked again and brought all three packages out and said what's your name? And I told her. She had not asked me my name before. She had only gone by the tracking number. She showed me that UPS and placed a sticker over top of my name but that wouldn't have mattered anyway. So in the end I got my package but only because I was very persistent. Is difficult to know whether this was her fault, or whether was UPSes fault. Having said all this, the package contained a controlled substance. The woman never once asked me for my identification. read more

i won't use this UPS store again. i brought in two different items to be shipped - one to CA and one to NY. the manager of the store shipped the NY item to CA and the CA item to NY. the item meant for CA was to be presented by me to my CEO. thankfully for me and my job, i opened the package upon my arrival in CA. had i opened it in front of my CEO, it would have been devastating for me and my career. the store is issuing a full refund, but at this point it doesn't matter. i've lost complete trust. read more
