In trying to ship my Amazon return, we discovered there was a glitch with one of the return codes. The first associate couldn't figure it out. The woman who seemed to be the floor lead that morning was incredibly rude and asked me to get out of the way because they needed the register for the people in line. Mind you they already had 2 registers going (I was on the third) and there were a whopping 4 people in line. It took over two hours to resolve this situation with Amazon and Dominic helped to figure out the issue. Dominic was completely unassuming. He was simply trying to do his job and resolve an issue for a customer. He had patience and did this all so naturally, but there was such a stark contrast between him and the young lady who seemed to call the shots. He was incredibly competent and just cared about helping others and doing his job. I work a ton with young adults, have built up a non-profit organization and run international events and programs. This kid needs a promotion with a raise, or a new job! If you need something resolved at UPS for now, ask for DOMINIC!

Based on that information, I returned with my documents to have them notarized. After the notarization was completed, I was informed that there was a $10 fee. Had I been told about the charge during my initial visit, I would have appreciated the opportunity to decide whether to proceed. Instead, I was given inaccurate information and only learned of the fee after the service had already been performed. The issue is not the $10 itself, but the lack of clear and consistent communication. Customers should be able to rely on the information provided by staff, especially regarding pricing. Being quoted one price--or in this case, no charge at all--and then being charged afterward creates confusion and undermines trust.

When I called to find out about a replacement, the woman on the phone quickly retrieved the information and gave me a very reasonable price for not only the mailbox, but it included changing it out and taking away the damaged one. The store is in a small shopping center with its own parking lot. Between construction work on Lee Highway directly in front of the store and a lot of movement in the shopping center's parking lot, the area was very congested. Once inside, there were two employees helping two customers, while I waited in line. The line was slow-moving but once I reached an employee, she was friendly and helpful. My actual transaction took less than a minute while the wait was closer to five. The shop was clean and well-organized.
