Flew in from NC just to go through some of parent items and pack what I could send back to NC. Chose this business to ship. Pack my items in packing paper wrapped in bubble wrapped and secured in a box with fragile tags on the outside. I was asked what was in the boxes, explained, told person that the items had sentimental value, insured for 499.00 per box. Cost me $105 to ship. Never was told or ADVISED that they needed to pack the items, that they wouldn't pay if damaged because they needed to have packed. NOTHING IN WRITING, NOTHING OFFERED TO SIGN. Box came to my home in NC damaged, every single item broke. I took pictures and video. When I called, I was told that I needed to file with FexEx who delievered the boxes, they denied the claim. Called them back and they wanted me to come in from NC with the broken items. I sent my sister who lives in the city with photos and video but they still didn't want to compensate for the damage items. No even giving the amount paid to insure. I filed with the BBB but yet they still would not pay for the damage. Their claim or should I say their defense was they did not pack it so they would not pay out the insurance amount. This was in May 2026. Today, 6/29/2026 I got the final email from BBB that this company will not do anything. So, I lost items that were in the family for 40 plus years. They are Immigrant Thieves....they kept money I paid to insure. There is more to this situation, but I just wanted to hit key points. I am hurt, but Vengeance is mine saith the Lord...Do not allow them to take your money and cheat you. Do not even use this place they are thieves and I know this as fact. I cannot replace the items which were porcelain Angels mom collected and were given to her throughout the years. If you have to use them, get your transaction in writing, make them sign something that if damaged they WILL make good on paying out the insurance you placed on your items. She wasn't pleasant so my box may have been damage before it even left the store. I've kept the box until a resolve was made, but now I have to toss for nothing is salvageable. The male employee that works here, with the gray pony tale, is the rudest person I've ever met at a…read moreretail store. I had something to return. The company's website sent me a label (printed by UPS) but was for USPS mail. Even though the UPS Store website says they will ship USPS, and the label had a UPS logo, this guy took one look at the package and said "that's a Post Office package" and then completely ignored me. I replied "but it's from a UPS return site, the label even has a UPS logo on it... it's FROM UPS". His reply, after looking at the logo himself, was "oh, someone just put the UPS logo on the return label. You have to go to the post office." Again, he looked away and ignored me. This was a return for Soda Stream, a PEPSI company. Somehow, I don't think Pepsi is in the business of fraudulently using UPS logos on their return labels. I was frustrated and annoyed so I just grabbed my box and left. This guy actually came outside and starts yelling at me. "Did I offend you somehow?" he shouts. "No, you didn't offend me, but I brought a package to return that I got from a UPS return label. It's got UPS logos all over the sticker. I assumed you could return it for me." "You didn't have to slam the door!" he exclaims, despite the fact that the door opens OUT (how do you slam a door OPEN?). "I didn't slam anything. What are you talking about?" I reply. "Yes you did. What, you got nothing else to say?" This is outside of the store, in the parking lot. I was starting to get nervous that this guy was going to do something violent. He doesn't seem well. "You came outside to yell at me. No, I don't have anything else to say. What's your problem?" "You slammed the door. There's no reason for that." "Whatever," I shot back. I started heading to my car because this was ridiculous and I"m not starting to be fearful for my safety. As I get to my car he yells something from the door "I think [unintelligible]...." "I don't give a sh!t what you think," I yell back and get in my car and start driving away. I glance in my mirror and see he's still at the door. This guy is a psycho and shouldn't be interacting with other humans. I don't know what his problem was but he did not like me storming out of his store for not wanting to do his job... that he lied about. Who chases a customer outside to yell at them because they got upset at your horrible customer service?! Everyone else at that store has been nice and respectful. This guy, though, made me so uncomfortable that I will never step foot in this store again. They could be giving away stacks of $100 bills for free and I would still go find another UPS store.

The staff person (I forgot her name) was very helpful in scanning my docs for me and saving it unto my flash drive. I had first logged unto the computer to scan my docs (to email it to myself) but the scanner next to the computer only scanned documents one-by-one which would have taken me the whole night to scan. So I was very happy when the FedEx worker helped me scan them for free. Once my whole packet was ready to mail, I placed them in the FedEx envelope and choose a mailing option. My package could have arrived the next day if I wanted it too but I choose 4 day shipping instead. I got a receipt with a tracking number and I was set. Service here is great so I will definitely be back. P.S. If you use their computers, know what you want to do and don't waste time. They charge by the minute I believe.
