This office store has some of the cheaper furniture in the area, along with the usual inventory of office supplies and gadgets. A lot of their stock goes quickly when they have a sale and particularly in the furniture section, it's a struggle to find what you're looking for since the signs don't always match up to the boxes stacked around them. If you purchase a clearance item here and the floor sample is the only unit left, they'll sell it to you for 50% off. Quite a deal! Just make sure you wipe it down before using because there were sticky spots on quite a few of the chairs and desks. Customer service can be hit or miss depending on who you talk to, with a lot of them on the younger side and not quite as knowledgeable as one might hope them to be, but they're all approachable and willing to help. read more

Worst printing experience ever! It pains me to give a 1 star review, but after paying $30 for a custom made cookbook I lovingly collected and designed as a gift for my sister, but recieving a messy stack of printer paper stapled together in a flimsy "pamplet," I won't give Staples more than 1 star. I am too embarrassed to post a photo of it, it's that bad. I put in the order online and picked up the cookbook at this Staples store a few days later. Now, when I submitted the order, I had no explanation as to why this book cost $30 for a single print and only one page of color. I assumed it was going to be incredibly beautiful and professional looking at that price. Nope! I was so embarrassed to give this to my sister. I immediately ordered a custom hardcover book to be made from my file from Barnes and Noble, which is what I should have done in the first place! And it was cheaper! Worst of all, the staff did NOTHING to try to salvage this when I was so clearly very upset when they handed it to me. It was incredibly cold and cruel. I tried to salvage it by finding a cover of any kind in the shopping part of the store to put over this "cookbook," but the store was so poorly stocked, I couldn't even find that! I should have just done this at work and save myself the hassle, the money, and the embarrassment. My wonderful sister was understanding when I presented her with this messy pile of papers after I spent so much time and effort gathering recipes from her friends and family. But I can't wait to give her the B&N hardcover custom cookbook when it arrives in a few days and I can put this debacle with Staples behind me. read more

I came to the store for a USPS return today around 3:45pm. The staff were so helpful. I came unprepared and did not have the label printed. They printed it for me! They were the sweetest bunch of young people. Great customer service ! read more

I work in Boston, MA and a colleague had an emergency where he needed print outs by the end of the day. I knew nothing about the area so did some quick searches and called a few places including this Staples. Long story short they helped me get the documents I needed printed fast so that the courier I had found could pick them up and get them where they needed to be. I was on the phone numerous times with them and they were helpful and polite and helped save our booth at our event! read more

The store in Mayfield Heights is no longer in business, they just don't know it. There was no one behind the cash register so I left my would-be purchase behind and walked out. Staples has to learn that the most important person in the store is the one behind the cash register. If there is no one there to take the money, the store is effectively closed. read more

I received terrible treatment 2 days ago from Staples employees. I went to have a brochure photocopied for work, and I needed it for the following day. Despite having very few customers in the store the man at the printing desk told me I would have to wait 2 to 3 hours to have it done. I told him I did not have time to wait 2 to 3 hours - that I had driven in from a different city, and was there anything he could do to speed it up. He said no. I then proceeded to attempt to photocopy the brochure myself on their self pay photocopiers. An employee was in the printing area and I asked her for help since the brochure was 2 sided, and I was not sure how to load the 2nd side. She told me that she could not help me, in a very impolite tone of voice, because the brochure had a trademark on it, and she was not allowed to do it. I told her I was working for the company who had produced the brochure and the trademark, and that I would call them, or she could call them to verify it. She snapped at me saying "no" she would not call, and walked away relieved to not have to bother helping me. I had another brochure I wanted copied, and I asked her for assistance with this one, and she said she would not assist me with that one either. I then asked a different employee where the receipt books were, and he snapped at me "Aisle 10" in a mean tone of voice. I was unable to get my brochures printed at the store, and they did not have the file folders I needed. I did get a receipt book, and when I went to the checkout, the woman who refused to help me sauntered over to the cash register next to mine, to gleefully sneer at me. Clearly she felt she'd "won" something by blocking me from getting what I wanted, and appeared happy that I was leaving almost empty handed. I give them one star because the person who checked me out, was civil and polite, and because I am not allowed to give zero stars on this review. This store will not stay in business long with such horrible customer service. *Also the idea of wasting 2 or 3 hours for this brochure to be copied, then coming back and have them tell me they wouldn't do it because there is a trademark on it wold have been really bad. The man that reviewed the brochure initially to have it copied should have told me they wouldn't do it up front. Thankfully I was able to get it copied elsewhere in a timely manner. read more
